The Desperado sells snacks (candy, pretzels, jerky, etc.), a wide selection of cold drinks and beer, typical convenience store items, and a few novelties such as trucker hats. If you find yourself in Crawford, you'll most likely stop by the Desperado at least once, so be sure to take a picture next to the plastic dinosaur outside.

I noticed the gentleman that was back by the shoes seemed bothered that we were looking at shoes while he was restocking. We were in the store for no longer than 20 minutes. No one came up to us and spoke and even as we were leaving the front cashier didn't even speak. The what it looked like to be the manager was acting very nervous and frantic as we were leaving. As to our surprise, there were TWO! Police sitting right outside the store like something was about to happen. There was only my fiancé and I and one other man in the store looking for his fishing license. So I would say profiling at its finest. I used to be a cop so I know cop like activity and they were looking for us to be thief's or something. I very disappointed with this store. I will not recommend this store to anybody who comes here, or who is visiting. Shame on you.
