A good ol' boys sporting good store. Meaning guns. Lots of guns. And not just any ol' guns. Nope. The have the new S&W .50 pistol (well, huge rifle on a pistol grip, looking at the size of the thing). And cool cool guns that we Californians can only drool over - AK47's...AR15's. They also have all the typical things you'd expect to find in a CO sporting goods store - lots of hunting and fishing "stuff", and a good selection at that. What an experience!!! I can't say enough about this place. I had a hunting issue with my equipment and the gentleman at the counter provided excellent customer service far and beyond what should ever be expected. They had a very large variety of equipment where most of these other "small town shops" were bare. This place comes highly recommended!! read more

first off, guns are my thing. im a certified armorer on multiple platforms, and have over 20 years behind a gun. in a small little town, with SEVERAL gunshops, this one is overpriced, and the staff, while somewhat knowledgeable- are very poor salesmen, and have little to no personality. they also THINK that they are the only game in town, and treat everyone that comes in the door like they are amateurs, coming in for a lesson on firearms. that's why they wont receive more of my business. id honestly rather buy a gun at Cabala's before i buy one here- and thats saying something! read more

I've lived in Colorado for over 7 years and have been a gun enthusiast my entire life. I discovered Timberline Sporting Goods by chance and have been a dedicated customer. Both Bryan and Kevin have become good friends and their customer service is excellent. They follow-up on orders and keep me informed of delays or manufacturing changes. The store is well stocked with a good veriety of guns, bows, fishing supplies, optics, loading supplies, ammo, and now radio control planes, trucks, and hellicopters. The new store was a great improvement for them and will also provide opportunities for expansion. I bought my first used Ruger 9mm for under $200. I'm currently looking into another used Smith & Wesson 9mm that is priced cheaper than gunbroker.com before the FFL charges, etc. It also comes with an extra magazine and a holster for the same price as a single weapon online. I also bought my first bow here. They have great service, great prices and they don't have a pawn shop kind of store. Pawnshop owners love to lowball and buy cheap and sell their services and weapons at a high price. They also have gas and electric cars, trucks, boats, and quadcopters. read more
