Within moments I could see this was a store that carried items that were 'top-notch'. Ryan came over to assist. Went out for a 1-mile run and had to stop because they caused severe pain in both feet. I went in and asked for an even exchange and not my money back. They told me that their store policy is no returns if the shoe was worn outside. They are brand new shoes and they refused an even exchange for another pair. As you can see on the receipt, it clearly states 14-day return policy. Needless to say, I will never buy from this place again. I've never visited a shoe store with a 1-day no-return policy. I will be shopping in Carbondale's Independence Run and Hike store from now on. They have a reasonable return policy. I should have gone there in the first place. Lesson learned.

You will likely even be greeted by someone dressed head to toe in cowboy attire. There's a sense of charm to that. There's a video running on a loop that tells you a bit about the history, too.

They also have items that are not activewear, but are "Colorado casual" in style. They had an awesome 50% off sale and I walked out with three beautiful items including a striped long sleeve shirt and a beige 100% wool long sweater with warm colored stripes, both of which look different than anything I've seen for purchase online or in any other stores. I also got a nice pair of green khaki shorts I can wear hiking or as every day casual digs. The sweater is so beautiful and warm with high quality wool that doesn't itch. I think it's my new favorite item in my wardrobe. The lady working there was very friendly and there to help if needed.

The dynamic salesperson was so beyond friendly, we had such a great time talking to her! They have a plethora of useful, and most importantly, sustainable & ethically produced, goods for men, women, and children. Actually, no sale items except 1 casual dress (which I bought!). In our chatting we discovered that the owner is a lovely woman who is married to a fellow Chicagoan and owner of the store next door to this one. We couldn't resist stopping into his store for a chat. He was equally lovely and we had a great time with him. His store is larger and offers more and different product including athletic wear and shoes. Between the two stores you are sure to find something that you need or want!
