This place sucks and I'm upset I didn't read the reviews I had an appointment it was supposed to be booked for 8am, as I work in the afternoon . I spoke with someone at the front desk and booked the appointment. I came at 7 so they could start early just needed the headlight bulb changed . I get there first they tell I'm actually scheduled for an 1pm appointment. ??Then the guy tells me that even though I'm an hour early and the only person currently there I have to wait for the appointments , and he didn't know how long it would take . They had the ability to take the car in and just take the headlight bulb out .. and I'm asking him all this questions and he just keep repeating the same thing , no real help and terrible organization and service but for some reason it cost 75$ and apparently a hole hour or more to fix a head light . read more

After my blowout on my back right tire, I decided to get all new tires. My Steering was barely veering to the right to go straight. Wasn't bad at all but decided to get an alignment so it doesn't get worse and mess up my tires. I called up and told them i'll have my roommate drive it there since I work an hour away, but call ME if there's any problems. After work i go to pick it up and my roommate tells me "they told me they did the best they could do" and i was confused but didn't think too much of it. Here's the scene i walked into (i dropped photos) and my steering wheel was a quarter to the left and somehow i was still veering to the right. I came in there with a straight steering wheel and walked out with a crooked one . Then my power train/ 4x4 light comes on. Never in my 2 years of owning my truck has this light came on. I came in for an oil change. During the course of this service, the tech said that my tire had a nail hole that could not be repaired. Even though I was not having low air problems with the tire, I purchased a new tire based on their recommendation. Because my tires were warrantied at a retailer with no location in WF, I took my tire with me and later presented the tire to that retailer. I was informed that the tire should have been repaired in the first place, and the repair was completed. I contacted the manager of this Firestone location, and brought my tire back in at his request. He confirmed that it should have been repaired in the first place, and I received a refund. TL:DR Take recommendations here with a hearty grain of salt and ask to physically see your tire if you have an 'unrepairable defect' read more

Messed up state inspection twice. Hung up when I called them wanting to fix it, and said they didn't want to deal with a fine.

Needed a simple alignment called a head of time to see if I needed an appointment he said no bring it and it will be worked on. Two people arrived after me and both their vehicles were seen before mine. Only one had an appointment. Durning my wait two others had came in and waited 10-15 mins till someone greeted them. So after my 3+ hour visit it's safe to say I will never return to Firestone. EDIT Had to come back cuz it was not done correctly spent another hour after that. read more

Came in to get vehicles inspected on Saturday early in the day and was told it would be best to come back on Sunday about 11. Went back Sunday at about 1030 and told I would have to wait several hours for just one car and I had two cars that need to be inspected. Extremely disappointed. read more

All I have to say is pay attention to the reviews. I'm not one to leave many reviews but this just pissed me off. I set up an appointment earlier in the week to get a simple oil change. They checked me in and then I sat in the lobby for 45 minutes. My car was not even touched from my parking spot. A handicapped older gentlemen stumbled inside and stood at the counter for ten minutes and no one was at the front desk from the moment I was checked in until I asked for my keys back. They were actually happy I got my keys back it seemed lol. Place sucks. read more

I was traveling through Wichita Falls when I got a flat tire. I live too far to drive on a spare. I walked in around 3:45 and asked if they could replace my tire. The lady said they were booked full. I let her know I lived 2 1/2 hours away and didn't have anywhere to stay for the night, hoping she would put that into consideration. She still stated they were slammed. There were 2 people in the waiting room. They don't close til six and it was only 3:45 and they couldn't squeeze me in to change out one tire??? Very frustrating. My wife's car was neglected pretty heavily by the previous owner and her heater recently went out. While replacing the thermostat and topping off the coolant I noticed the coolant system was full of rust so I had called around getting prices for a coolant system flush and Firestone quoted me ~$93 after tax. I set an appointment for 1PM to bring my car in and was told it would be about an hour to an hour and a half to complete the service. When I arrived, there was some kind of confusion about me leaving the car because it was checked in as a "drop off" and as a result it didn't get started for another hour or so because the technicians that could complete the service were allowed to go to lunch. When the service was completed I was told that the car might need additional flushes to fully clean the system because it was still pretty bad. The store was fairly busy and by that point I had been sitting in the lobby for close to 3 hours so I just paid and took the car home. On the way home I kept getting bursts of power from the engine and upon arriving home I discovered they had completely overfilled the coolant system and coolant was leaking all over the engine bay causing the belts to slip. They weren't kidding either about needing more flushes because it looked exactly the same as before the service. I ended up doing the flush myself, something I was trying to avoid doing on my day off. Doing it myself I discovered there was likely no way they pulled the drain plug off the bottom of the radiator because undoing all the screws on the plastic shroud covering it, a bunch of grime and dirt came off that would have come off if they had done the same. After draining the system, filling it with water, letting the engine warm up to open the thermostat, then doing a running flush of the system I was able to get the water to run clean. I then drained the whole system, replaced the reservoir, and refilled the system with coolant. By this point the customer service line was closed so I called Firestone's customer service the next day and lodged a complaint about not getting the service that I felt I asked for and the representative said she would contact the store manager and he would have 24 hours to get back to me. 27 hours later I hadn't heard anything so I called back and got another representative who said she didn't see where the first rep actually called the store. So she got me in touch with the service manager and I explained my issue with the poor service I received. He explained that the way they do a flush is with a kit/machine they hook it up to and they wouldn't run it multiple times to get it clean, they would just do it the one time. I retorted that had someone explained that to me I would have never dropped my car off for service because the intention was to clean out the system, not do a useless flush that doesn't fix anything. He did offer for me to come back in and he would "see what he could do". I did end up going back in about a week later and he refunded the full price of the service, so no harm no foul I suppose. My poor experience with the service itself aside, everyone was kind and friendly and ultimately they did perform the service I paid for but I feel that they could have better communicated the scope of their service better to me, or upon looking at the rusty coolant explain to me that it may take several flushes instead of just doing the flush I asked for and saying essentially "Well we did the flush but it's not clean. You can keep paying us to keep doing it though." read more

I had them put a wheel seal on and it Normally would take about a hr and haft and it took them 5 hrs and then I watched them pack the wheel bearing full of grease in a oil bath truck rear end and then had them put a belt on and it took them another hr and had the worst customer service I've ever had an then charged an arm and a leg to do it I would never send anybody over there it's a joke of mechanics and staff and it's way over priced read more

Came here for a new tire two weeks ago. Instead of putting the new tire on, which I bought from them, they put my spare on instead and put my new tire in the trunk! Really?!? I was leaving town and I heard a really loud squeal as I was driving. This was the only place in town open on a Sunday, so I took my car in. The guy (didn't catch his name) at Expert Tire came right outside, looked at my car, took the tire off, and found a rock that was causing the squeal. Although this only took about 10 minutes total, he didn't charge me at all! He said have a safe trip, and that was that! That is real service!
