I am not sure why this place has such bad reviews. I never leave reviews, but the new manager (Matt) was so helpful during my last visit, they certainly deserve one. I have been coming to this Firestone location for the last 5 years for oil changes and tire rotations for my truck. They have always done excellent work. Recently, I bought a new truck. The dealership I purchased it from refused to address a small wobble with the truck right after I bought it. I brought it into Firestone without an appointment, and Matt took the time to look at all 4 of my tires and correctly diagnose the issue. He then recommended to me a great set of tires (same ones he had on his truck), ordered them, and installed them for me first thing the next day, as well as did an alignment. My truck has never driven so smoothly. You have to understand these places are tough to staff. Be patient, make an appointment, and have a backup plan if things take longer. There are several good restaurants, coffee shops, a Kroger, etc. all around this location if you need something to do while your car is in their shop. Matt is an awesome guy, too. read more

I've only been here once for a tire replacement, and I've only put very very few miles on my tires since appointment. the staff was nice and kept me updated. I waited longer than I'd like (from 8am to 10:30ish) but I understand there was 3 cars per associate in the shop. Only reason I do not give 5 stars is because I hate to bring up any stereotype but I'm a younger woman and they tried upselling me 3 different times. And I never heard them do to anyone else who walked in. (Who were all 25-40 year old men) again I have no issue with the service on my car, good tires and good warranty's especially since I drive a lot and being I live paycheck to paycheck I feel confident in the pricing for good tires. read more

Do not go here!!! (I never leave bad reviews but want to warn others!) This particular location was awful. I took my car in at 9 am EST after scheduling an appointment in advance for an oil change and a light replacement. Initially, I was told it would take 1 to 2 hours to complete. However, when I was leaving, they informed me that it would actually take all day due to taking in more customers after me. At 3:30, they called to let me know they were too busy to get to my light, and then at 4:30, just before closing time, they called again to say they had replaced the bulb but the issue was still not fixed. I suspect they didn't even work on my light, and the customer service was poor. It was a disappointing waste of time and money. read more

Terrible experience. Took my car in and two weeks later got out back sounding worse than when I took it in. Was told several different stories about why the delay on getting it back to me. At one point they said 3 screws were missing. Now it rattles so loudly that I'm going to need to take it in to someone else read more

My car had a flat tire across the street the night before across from Firestone. Fortunately I live close by and was able to get a ride home to get my spare. I removed the tire and wheel off my car and arrived first am upon opening. I explained my situation and said I would pay Firestone whatever they want to charge, just to swap tires. I was told No, their policy won't allow to swap tires that weren't brand new. Although I didn't want to buy a brand new tire, I was desperate. They didn't even have a tire nor could they get one same day. Fortunately CARx didn't even hesitate and swapped the tire at no-charge. read more

Went in with a partially flat tire for the free tire check. 16 year-old kid inflated the tire after waiting for 15 minutes. Asked to have tire checked for a nail and was told to go inside to deal with that. Talked to manager who told me "we don't have time for that. We only have one guy here". Went in for an oil change and tire rotation. Tires are running low on tread, so they tried to upsell me on new tires. I wasn't interested, so when I show up and pay, I paid for the oil change and tire rotation. I then go to the car and realize they did not rotate the tires. They told me they couldn't because the tread was too low (which may or may not be true). Had I not realized it, I would have paid for the tire rotation. I then still had to call them to get reimbursed for the tire rotation. The service person just kept relaying to the customer service rep the bad news instead of just explaining it to me herself. Will not be returning. Have never had issues at any other Firestone. Disappointing. read more

Brought my car in for two different problems - tire pressure warning and a possible bad alternator after AAA replaced the battery and said it might not have recharging both the old & new battery and the dashboard was dark. Thought one of the tire sensor was bad it was just low pressure in all tires even though I just bought them in FL two weeks ago - they topped them off and i was good to go. They checked the electrical, found no alternator problem and the dashboard lights came on. I was pleasantly surprised with no charge for either visit and Nick even walked out to me when I dropped off and picked up the car. Very impressed with the service and they certainly earned a customer. read more

I have been here for over 2 1/2 hours for a simple tire change. I have a flat tire and needed new tire out on and they seemed to be more worried about having 2-3 people on one vehicle but I seen 3 vehicles behind worked on at same time before mine was touched. Once they put mine up on lift they stopped messing with it and it sat up there for an hour not even touched on the lift. While their employees were laughing and joking and eating cheez it'z. I informed them multiple times I am on a time schedule and have deliveries to tend to still and they didn't care one bit because they knew they was getting paid either way. So very unprofessional. All they care about here is how much money they can get you to spend and don't care how long they have you waiting and will tell you it will be 30 more minutes or 15 more but they are empty promises because you'll be waiting way longer than what they tell you. read more

After spending $1,000 on 2 ball joints at the Westfield location, I noticed a lot of play in my steering wheel when I pulled out. Then later, after having several issues with a wobble when driving, I visited another firestone and had a a complete inspection underneath. They found a wheel bearing that needed replaced and I had it replaced. They didn't find any other work needed but they said "It's recommended to change my shocks and struts". I said there is nothing wrong with my shocks and struts, my vehicle glides over the road. After all this and also replace all 4 tires I still had the wobble and I was told it's an alignment issue. I went back to the Westfield location for a realignment a few days later and miraculously, after a full inspedtion at another location, the Westfield location found an inner tie rod that needed replaced. He said it would cause a lot of play in the steering (smile). I said yes, that's exactly what I felt when I left here after getting my ball joints replaced. Strange and also strange how the other location never seen the inner tie rod that needed replaced, after a full complete instpection less than a week prior. I said replace the inner tie rod and I asked about why the other location recommended I change my shocks and struts. He said it's recommended based on the high mileage of your vehicle. I said take a look and he told me he didn't see any issues, it was solely based on the mileage of my vehicle (smile) Again, I said well there is nothing wrong with my shocks and struts. So needless to say, when I left there, I heard a lot of rattling in the back each time I hit a bump and bouncing as I go down the road. I now have problems with my shocks and struts since I pulled out of the Westfield location that very day. It's getting worse each passing day and now after thousands in repairs, my truck wobbles, rattles and bounces as it is Recommended based on the mileage. Find another business for your repairs and never trust a smiling mechanic. Ugh! I'm beyond angry! read more
