Customer service. We had a flat tire way out in the country. Driving in on a doughnut, we called Ryan manning the front desk, and even though it was the end of the business day, he told us to get there safe and he would help us put a new tire on the car. Our technician, Ray, was waiting for us and after looking at my rim told guided me towards a company in town which repairs bent wheels. In fact, Ray called himself to make sure we were taken care of. We were. Ryan and Ray then hooked us up with a good deal on new tires, along with not trying to pressure us into buying 4 new ones. (ensuring we didn't spend more than we had to). After getting the rim repaired, Ray found a discrepancy in the wheel and called the repair shop to re-do the wheel and give me a discount in the process. These guys made very little money off me, but gave me exceptional customer service and care. In the end my safety and satisfaction were more important to them than making a buck. That's honor. And they will always have my business. read more

BEWARE! I normally try to find coupons for oil changes. With that, it only covers up to a certain amount of quarts. That's fine. However, my vehicle needed 6 qts so they charged me $19.00 for a qt of oil. On top of all of the extra BS fees they charge. A coupon price of $79 goes to $110. Ridiculous! read more

Excellent customer service!!! The lady on the phone was very professional and helpful. I was greeted immediately after walking in. The wait wasn't excessively long for it to be on a Saturday with several other customers. I used a coupon I found on their website for a $27.99 standard oil change. Absolutely terrible. Truck broke down on the way home from vacation 500 miles from home, I called to make sure they could fix the issue (which was told they could) before I towed the truck 50 miles which costs 300 dollars. Then I get called the following morning and told they cannot fix it and I owe them 130 dollars for them running a computer to diagnose the issue (which they were aware of and told me they could fix). Absolutely terrible customer service and a rip off. Firestone doesn't care about helping people and will never get a call or dime from me again. I found a great guy who is driving up to fix it in the parking lot to which Firestone told me they won't allow someone to work on it in their parking lot. My passenger tire was bouncing when I drove. I came by firestone and they recommended all new tires ($600) and everything was "tight". Turns out the CV axel was going out. I only figured this out when it actually broke and I can no longer drive my car. This company only wants to upsell you on things you do not need. No resolution to issues. Worthless Mechanics Running a Scam. They hype up their Unlimited Alignment Deal and then every time you come in tell you a plethora of parts are worn. They have done this every year for the last 3 years. I replaced them every year. This time everything was brand new and I took it to them and yet again they said the upper and lower ball joints on both sides are bad as well as the bearing. Fun fact, Both Bearings, Both CV Axles, Both Upper and Lower Control Arms, and Both Upper and lower Ball Joints on both sides of the vehicle are new. So quite frankly I don't know what the f@#$ they are talking about. I've been a professional mechanic for 7 years and been a mechanic in general since I could hold a wrench and read a manual. Me: left front tire is leaking air. Firestone: air pressure is fine. Me: of course. I had to refill the tire in order to drive here. I refill every day. Firestone: We looked - all four tires are fine (if true, not sure why they wasted their time on three good tires) Nothing more we can do for you. Drove back home. No evidence that Firestone really looked at the tire; but the left front tire was down 10 psi again by the end of the day. Going to Walmart now for a can if fix-a-flat. Fingers crossed. read more

We were driving home from Florida and our van started to shake. We thought maybe it was just air. It was closing in on 6pm on a Friday. We decided to turn around and go to the closest Firestone. Judah came out looked at the tire, noticed it was separating right away. He had a tire in stock and said they could get it all completed before they closed up. Update... something has changed... can't get my alignment correct, can't find me tires on weekend, and recommend I go to an exhaust shop to get a donut gasket changed?? No so much of a repair shop if you cant align, find tires on weekends, or change a donut gasket.... Update... An absolute disgrace! Made appt and and took the job to change my oil and fuel filters... dropped off two days later.... then call me to tell me they don't have the tool to change to fuel filter. The truck is 2 years old how special a tool can it be? Oh and the best part is we already drained the oil so you cant pick up the truck either until you tell us what we need to do now.... Ya, we're all just in a awkward stand off... then they want to be short and rude with my wife when she goes to pick it up.... Went if for an alignment and needed a inch adjustment on my torsion bars. I made it clear what needed done, drove 45 minutes after leaving work early and they were unable to make the adjustment. It's a 5 minute adjustment and doesn't require special tools or skills. Complete Car Care, I think not. I wouldn't recommend anything more than oil changes or or tire work at a Firestone. You should change your marketing to Obtuse Car Care. read more

I had an appointment for 2 p.m. for an oil change, tire rotation and balance. It took 3 hours and I never received an update or was told why it was taking so long. After getting my truck back, it still shakes just as bad if not worse than before the service. Also, they left off 2 tire stem caps. read more

Went to have my a/c recharged they said I had to pay for them to look at it first I said ok with paying for that service. The big heavy set guy there later told us that it was going to need a new clutch because it was pulling away from the compressor and would cost me around $1300 to repair. He didn't have the parts but I told him to go ahead and order the parts. When I got home I found out that the a/c in VWs are all in one unit not 2 like they said. I ordered a new a/c compressor with clutch for less than $200 and had Walker's auto repair install it another $200. Everything works great for around $400 lot less that $1300. These guys are the best! While en route to Florida from Indiana, with my mother and my dog, my water pump went out. On the highway! Oh on a Sunday not to mention! Long story short, I googled and found them. Spoke with Judah, he called a tow service and everything for me. Sent a reputable clean person to get me and my vehicle to take us to the shop from our hotel. I set and waited while they got me back on the road. It took a little longer because it was on a Sunday and they had to find the part. I was still so grateful they were even open on a Sunday. I wasn't ripped off either. No it wasn't cheap. Our college age son and girlfriend were traveling back home to Tennessee from Florida early in the year, when unbeknownst to them one of their brake calipers disintegrated. It was late in the day and the Firestone Store closed in twenty minutes. The manager and mechanics diagnosed the problem, stayed late, treated them with respect, and charged them better than a fair price. We are so very grateful for their kindness and professionalism. His 1-year old radiator, that was still under warranty through our local auto body shop, sprung a major leak last Tuesday when he was supposed to come back to Southern Alabama (luckily his gf was there and drove him home saving me the 7-hour round trip drive). On my second set of mud tires from firestone. The 1st set were warrantied out due to tread separation. We paid almost $700 extra when they were warrantied in 2018. Now in 2019 we are having the SAME PROBLEM with tread separation again. I rotate my MT2's every 2000-2500 miles & take damn good care of our tires & truck. We always get complimented on how good of care we take of them. Now the manager at this location will not even listen to our complaint. Told him this is now the 2nd time we are having the same issues & all he had to say is 'in my opinion I don't see any tread separation just rough wear". His technician did not even inspect the tires. When I tried to calmly discuss it with him all he wanted to do is speak over me. This right here is not customer service NOR is it taking care of your customer when they've spent over $2000 in tires & service plans. I would not recommend going here for any servicing at all.
