Firestone quoted me for tires, but after discovering they did not have the correct key for my lug nuts, they never even pulled my truck into the shop. I immediately went and obtained the correct key myself. When I returned, they told me they could no longer do the job because they "would have had it back there 10 minutes ago." Mind you, my truck door was unlocked when I returned, so there was nothing preventing them from accessing or moving it once I provided the key. I am approximately 1,100 miles from home with visibly and dangerously worn tires. I corrected the problem immediately and returned ready to pay for the quoted service, yet they turned me away over a matter of minutes. They showed absolutely no concern for my safety or whether I could safely continue traveling. Their response was dismissive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. read more

My wife and I were traveling across the country from Camp Pendleton, California, when we began experiencing engine trouble on Interstate 20 near Pecos, Texas. I called the local Firestone and spoke with Manager Matt and Engine Specialist Mark while we were still on the highway. They listened to our concerns, and diagnosed the problem, and repaired our vehicle the same day. Traveling cross country can be stressful, especially when car problems arise, but these gentlemen made the entire experience as smooth as possible. Their professionalism, knowledge, and willingness to go above and beyond gave us confidence that our vehicle was safe to continue the journey. Mark and Matt are outstanding representatives of Firestone. Their customer service and dedication truly exceeded our expectations. We are incredibly grateful for their help and highly recommend this Firestone location to anyone who values honest, reliable, and professional automotive service. Thank you, Gentlemen, for helping us get back on the road safely. You made a difficult day a lot easier. read more

Wife recently went to Firestone to have a tire fixed because of a screw in the tire - she was told she needed a new tire (these were new tires about 5 months old) and the tire couldn't be fixed - she's then called me- i said take your car to Forest Tire company down the street - she did and they fixed the tire for free ! Im sick and tired of these local tire companies taking advantage of women by lying to them in order to sell a $300 tire read more

I was in an out within an hour and a half. 4 tires and brake fluid done. I was even called at home by Thomas to come in early and they got everything done I needed. Made my day easier. Thank you so much! read more

So I proceeded to call back after 4 or 5 hours has pass, next excuse is "should be done by the end of the day." if your from out of town like me and this is your last resort for a fix don't go here! If there customer service is a great as they fix cars i could only imagine how long it will be before i have to fix the work thats been done here. read more

Showed up at 3PM on a Sunday. I live in the DFW area and I needed help. The guy at Firestone said they have the tire in stock but could not do the work. He called the two other stores in Odessa and they also stated they could not put a tire on a car on Sunday. Completely pointless for a tire store to be open on Sunday if they won't help customers in need. read more

Had great service. The tire replacement was quick and easy.

please don't go here. They just eat up your time. They made me wait for 3 and half hours for oil change and asked me to wait for another hour and half. read more

Been here for 2.5 hours for 2 tires. First in the store this morning. Crazy.... could have just gave me the tires and I could done it my self. First time here won't be back to this location. Will tell the rest of my company to avoid this place as well. read more

Do not take your truck here, I don't care if you call and they say be there at 8am and they will get your truck done. I was told they would call me around noon, no call. I called to check at 1pm and was told it was next. Waited until 3:30pm to check and still nothing and I was told again it's next. Don't lie to your customers and say it'll be done if you can't get it done. Just be honest and ask the customer to reschedule at the very least. read more

My wife and I were traveling and I noticed a noise which sounded like a front wheel bearing was going out. Due to where we live which is very remote, approximately 4 hours from this location and very limited services in the area; I was in a jam. After calling a couple different service centers which didn't have the ability to look at the vehicle that day or the next, I was told to check with Firestone. We called and went by the closest location, they weren't able to assist but stated the store on 8th Street might be able too. We went there and I spoke with Kyler. I explained the situation and he stated they would be able to at least look at it today, and if it needed parts probably get it done the next morning. Came back after a few hours and he stated everything was tight, he did note a similar sound when operating the vehicle but stated everything was good to go. I appreciate the dedication and attention here as this is our sole mode of transportation. I think this group needs to be recognized for assisting people in a real pinch. Great job! read more

The Managers Seth Hodges and Richy Erwin were incredibly helpful. I had an out of state pre purchase vehicle inspection to navigate all the way from San Diego. They provided me with invaluable information about the vehicle since they were literally my eyes for attempting to make a long distance vehicle purchase. Customer service at its best. I would use them every time for any vehicle issue if I was near their location. Trustworthy individuals. read more

I can't believe I have lived in Odessa for 2 years to just now find this gem of a tire store! Not just a tire store but much more!!! My service was beyond what I could have imagined!!! Everyone was so helpful read more

This Firestone needs to taking hiring serious. Employees blame 4 to 5 hour waits on lack of staffing. The parking lot is empty no cars in parking lot waiting to be seen. Every time I make an appointment early in the morning it takes an hour for it to be pulled in. Firestone, DONT be sorry and run your business properly. read more

If I could leave no stars, I would. I have been taking my car to Firestone for 9 years. Today, this was the first time at this location and I'm never going back. We set up an appointment last week, for 730 this morning to have the Ebrake fixed. At 1115 am, they called to say many other things needed to be fixed. We asked them to fix only the Ebrake and they told us it would be an hour. At 12, we showed up and they said they got another car in before us and it would be yet another hour. We asked for our car back and then they told us they were charging us $43 for an inspection. At no time did we ask for an inspection, we already had that and that's why we needed the Ebrake replaced. This location is useless. If I made an appointment with you, a week ago, take the time to get the appointment in before a walk in or one of your friends. Don't tell me it will be done in an hour and then 45 minutes into it...nevermind, another hour. We drove 58 miles just to bring our car in this morning. I'm disappointed with the service and a manager needs to get their crew in line. read more

I've taken my car to the Firestone for basic auto maintenance and tires for 16 years. They have always done a good job. On two occasions they made mistakes (and who doesn't), but they never made excuses and did everything they could to correct the problems. They are good folks here. I will continue to recommend them to my friends. read more

The service I received from Derick, Joe and the rest of the technician's far exceeded my expectations, they were simply outstanding! Thanks guy ;) read more

This is 2nd time I've made an appointment & they tell me they can't help me. If they can't follow their word on telling me what's wrong with my car how are they "complete auto care" worthy? read more

I wish I had read reviews of this store before I bought tires here. I have a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 Lariat; and I bought 4 new tires here about 2 months ago. I had a flat yesterday afternoon and have road hazard on all tires so I brought it in this morning to get the tire repaired. The guy that "helped" me was incredibly rude and acted like he was too good to work at Firestone and that I was an inconvenience to him. They fixed my flat after an hour and a half, and when I asked him where to pull the truck up to have the tire put on, he got visibly upset that I wanted it put on. Finally, he refused to put my spare tire back where it went, and just threw it in the back of the truck. So, a summary... they were slow, rude, dismissive, and made me feel like I was a huge inconvenience by expecting them to honor the road hazard warranty that I paid for. I am considering buying 4 more tires somewhere else just so I don't have to deal with their customer "service" anymore. If you have a choice, DO NOT USE this shop. I know I won't if I have a choice. read more

If you plan on using this place only deal with the manager. He is the only competent employee there and he will make sure everything is done correctly. Otherwise, proceed with caution. read more

My daughters car was damaged (door) on lifting the car up, tried to haphazardly fix it. When pressed, they said they would fix the car however couldn't give a time frame. Now, my daughter is without transportation, has no rental car and the customer service # has been of no help thus far (on chat disconnected the conversation before a resolution could be reached). Looks like we'll have to get a attorney involved. Sure wish this could have been handled at the branch level, but customer service seems like a foreign subject at this location. read more

This was the store in the Permian Basin that had the tire we needed. We called to make sure it was in stock, it was= 1 star. We made an "appointment" in order to be in and out= 1 star. We arrived and they're not honoring our appointment=-1 star. They said tire would be mounted in less than 45 minutes & told customer after me that her oil change would be ready in an hour, not too bad=1 star. I went to grab a bite to eat, returned 45 minutes later and they hadn't touched my tire plus the oil change lady was done=-1 star. On top of not having my tire ready to go as had been stated; the sales guy ran out to me to try to convince me to purchase new tires for my car because he needed to get rid of the tires, he stated my tires looked like they needed to changed. I smiled and told him, thanks for the offer these are 2 day old tires. Seems like honesty + customer care could use some improvement or quota pressures dropped. The facility was clean and the employees otherwise were personable=1 star. read more

If I could avoid giving this establishment 1 star, I would, as they deserve a 1/4 of a star. I called before my arrival and was told there was a 1.5 hour wait. I drove a little more than an hour to get there only to be told then, there was a 3.5 hour wait. I only needed 1 tire repaired or replaced and the truck was a rental and the costs would be covered by the rental company. Approval is needed for all repairs, which is understood, so I contacted the rental company for approval. Three hours later, once my truck was taken back, I was notified that I needed a new tire which required another approval. I called personally both times for the required approval instead of waiting on the electronic request to be submitted and reviewed. Another 1.5 hours after the approval, my tire was still not installed. Roughly 6.5 hours for one tire. I don't know if it's just me, but that's ridiculous. Would not refer this particular firestone to anyone that values time. read more

Employee said they can get my requested service by closing at 6:00. Called at 5:00 and they had not gotten to it nor could guarantee it would be done by 6:00. I could have drove across the state, got it done, and drove back in 6 hours. Wouldn't buy from, or recommend ANY service they may offer even if I was stranded on the side of the road at midnight in the rain watching an approaching tornado. read more
