I just got scammed. I went in for a battery change and brake pad change. They decided I needed new roters. The numbers didn't even add up in the receipt. I did not ask for new roters. I asked for a brake pad change. Do not leave your vehicle. And of course it is held hostage until i pay $1280. Usually I check every detail before I leave my vehicle for service and tell them only change what I have asked for. I dropped my guard thinking this was a good place. I had a really good experience with this Firestone. The staff was friendly and answered my questions thoroughly. They did not seem frustrated with me that I asked so many questions. They were respectful and showed that they were truly knowledgable with cars. I felt 100% comfortable leaving my car to get fixed. I had several things done, including changing the fuel injector. I have zero patience so when my Dodge Challenger RT got stuck trying to go up a hill in 2ft snow (Blizzard 2021) I blew my radiator revving my way out. I called Hibdon's on 24th NW first and they recommend this location instead. I limped my car the 2 blocks home and called the auto club and had my vehicle towed here without me going in person with it. (I had to work later and with the COVID19- curbside/drop off options they made it easy to not to have to show up with my car) The staff did an excellent job of calling me to discuss the repair and ask if I approved the work. Then they emailed me a full description and invoice so I had the information regarding my repair in writing. The work was completed correctly, at a competitive price and I appreciated the full transparency of the transaction- even in my absence. Going above and beyond: Also, I had placed the engine aesthetic cover in my trunk instead of snapping it back on when I realized I was going to have to send my car out for the repair. I put a small sticky note on my dash radio requesting they reinstall the cover after the repair. I was very pleased to see the engine cover installed as requested. Would not recommend going here if you are female. These individuals lied to me on multiple occasions and proceeded to not provide updates on my vehicle for 5 days. I took my vehicle in for a repair that required a part to be ordered in advance. The mechanics ordered the part incorrectly TWICE, delaying the original repair for an additional 5 days. Then when I ask to speak to Mark I had to fight to get him to reach out to me. When Mark did I was gaslight the whole time to think that it was not a major mistake that they never notified me about all the issues with my vehicle. It took over a week for Mark the manager to reach out to me. I was without a car and no way to get to work because the auto shop could not communicate with owners on mistakes they made. I had To reach out every single time to be provided an update on my vehicle. read more

I've been taking my vehicles to this shop for 10 yrs - but will no longer return. The manager, "Mike," did a terrible job in managing my repair work. I talked to Mike and scheduled a car repair appointment TWO days in advance. Mike told me, the day I scheduled the appointment, that he had ordered the part, so it would be there the day of my scheduled repairs. I arrived 45 min early on the morning of my appointment. One HOUR later, I was told by an employee that Mike had ordered the *wrong* part, so they were waiting on the correct part to be delivered - they said the part should arrive in approx 10 min. An HOUR later (2 HOURS after my arrival), they still hadn't received the part. I needed to go to work, so I told them I just needed to go - that I wanted to cancel the job. Mike told me that they had already removed my old part and could not reassemble it. He said they were still waiting on the new part. I offered to go get the part, myself, and bring it back. An employee called the parts place, and they said they were 10 min away with the part - so I couldn't go pick it up. (That was over 15 min ago - still no part.) It's been TWO and a HALF HOURS, and I'm STILL waiting. Still NO PART. Basically, I'm stuck in a bad situation because they aren't fixing my car, and they say they can't put the old part back on. AVOID THIS SHOP! I'll never come back here after all this. Mike just isn't running this shop well, and it's sad because I used to like this place. Update: I called Firestone Corporate Customer Service - while waiting, and corporate called the shop and spoke to Mike. And it's AMAZING how as SOON as corporate called them - I mean, INSTANTLY! - Mike and the crew suddenly, magically had my part and PUT IT ON. The corporate lady let me know I'd have "a nice surprise" when I checked out - which ended up being a significant discount. BUT THEN!!!! When I started my car IN THE PARKING LOT and turned on my A/C, the part they had just installed (blower motor) LITERALLY fell out of my dash and into my floorboard. SO, after all that waiting, they did the job wrong... and after 3 hrs, I was back to waiting. UNBELIEVABLE. AVOID this place!!! read more

My family has been going to this business for over a decade of service for 3 vehicles. That being said, I will no longer bring my vehicle to this Firestone for service. I've bought several rounds of tires through them, many oil changes, wiper blades, etc. My last visit there has dissuaded me from ever heading back. I won't even go into lengthy detailabout how the underpanel of my car was hanging off the time before this last service, (had to bring it back where they tried to say it was like that when I brought it in, um... no it wasnt.) This last visit, I purchased 4 brand new tires on a promotion that they told me would get me a $100 gift card if I spent over a certain amount on my Firestone card. We looked at tires, I determined the middle of the road was good for me, I bought wipers, oil change, etc. Paid the bill, left the shop. Within 24 hours, I was heading down I-44 and the front passenger tire suddenly lost all pressure (at 70 MPH) nearly causing an accident. If I didn't know how to perform defensive maneuvers such as Heel/Toe EBrake, etc there would have been a massive pileup. Wasn't happy. Someone made a mistake... ok I can deal with it, took it back and they fixed it. A few days later I notice that the mud panel under the wheel well on my drivers side has been sliced with an exacto knife (rather than replace the brad to hold it in place, they just chopped it off). This panel cost over a hundred bucks and is less than a year old. I had it installed at Reynolds Mazda and was enjoying my new body pieces. I am appalled that a technician would simply slice it off (a plastic brad costs less than a nickel). It's flapping around and currently held on with DUCT TAPE until I can afford a replacement. FINALLY, we still have not received our gift card rebate, so we called to ask for more information. They informed me that the tires I purchased were not eligible for the rebate (you know, the rebate we talked about the entire time I was in the lobby). I AM BEYOND LIVID. I feel like you guys: A) almost caused me serious injury or death through negligence (the valve stem wasn't secure on the tire which is what caused the failure at high speed) B) Vandalised my property instead of fixing it correctly, it's a new panel that can no longer be used. The air currents have been causing my car to float all over the place when they slide under the wheel well like that. Car was catching air in these Oklahoma winds. That is why the panel is there. (thanks for that) C) Lied to my face about a rebate that I'm certain someone knew I wouldn't be able to get, even though that was the main topic of my decision on the tires to buy. There are 3 vehicles in our household that would get service done at this location; there are now 3 vehicles that will be going elsewhere. 2 Star rating for the previous years of service I received. Wasn't going to post this if they made it right, but the gift card thing is the last straw. I forgave the harrowing highway experience initially, but have since found the vandalism and the gift card bait and switch. It was good while it lasted, but I am frankly appalled at the last service (and the previous one) I received. Pray I don't lawyer up to see if I have a case. read more

Called in yesterday evening and talked with service advisor named Logan. I explained my problem with my Jeep Cherokee starting to overheat and coolant was leaking from hose below. He was very nice and said he could make appointment in the morning to come in to run a cooling system pressure test for $27.99. We made appointment and came in the next morning. When we arrived Logan greeted us at the service desk, I said I had talked to him last evening and had an appointment to look at my Jeep today. We soon realized we had called the Main Street Firestone to make appointment, but the manager was nice enough to take us as well. I was relived because I felt my Jeep would not make it to another service station. A couple hours later Logan called and let us know what had to be done to fix my Jeep. He said it would take a few hours to complete. It was a little more then we would have liked to pay, but it needed to be done. We also did oil change. We called back to check status after about 4-5 hours and work was complete. We picked up and was setup for Firestone credit card with 6 months deferred interest by manager. Overall I give this place a 4 stars, service was 5 stars. Turnaround and price for services 4 stars. Thank you Firestone staff!! :) read more

Took my car here because my air conditioner was not working at all and sounded like it was hissing (losing air out of a tire sound), they did their test, called and said it was a discharge hose and it would be $850 to fix. Ok, paid and went on for 2 weeks and still the same sound plus all the Freon leaked out. So again, I take it to firestone and said it's not fixed, so they again charge me for another test, called and said it was another part, $225 later, it's done. Now, it's been 2 weeks since I've taken it there, and again, all the Freon has leaked out, it's hot as blazes outside, and I'm out over $1000. Would not recommend them for this service. They are just about money, and not making sure the service is actually complete. read more

I took the 2015 Mazda3 my girlfriend and I share today to see what was causing the vibration at 70mph. The tire pressure light recently came on as well as another warning light I wasn't sure about. Since neither my girlfriend and I aren't very knowledgeable about cars, they so kindly made phones calls to both my dad and my girlfriends mother, keeping them informed on the whole process/cost (my dad knows cars inside and out so the fact that he was satisfied today is a big deal.) Turns out that our front two tires were recalled and we also needed an alignment. We got an AMAZING price for new tires and overall very satisfied with Firestone! Thank you guys so much! read more

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Their manager or whoever's name is Jason there is super sarcastic and aggressive towards simple questions that I ask about my vehicle. Brought it in for an oil change 3 weeks ago, Ive never had any problems with my car before and ever since Ive brought it in its been problem after problem. 2 weeks ago I get an engine light and check fuel fill inlet in my car, $100 charge just for a diagnosis, they clean it turns out the nozzle area was just dirty. But then less than a week after that (which is today) I get the same message and the engine light comes back on. I call to tell Jason Im experiencing the same issues. I express my frustration being a full time graduate student (NOT FINANCIALLY COMFORTABLE) and his voice started to raise and get more aggressive because I was simply expressing my concern about not being able to afford another $100 and he tells me to bring it in anyways and that he would scan it and diagnose again and if it was the same fuel inlet problem then he wouldn't charge me the same $100 from a week ago, but if he found another problem (which I can't control them telling me something else) then they would charge me the $100. In December, 2016 my 80 year old mother had to have one electric coil replaced on her vehicle and was charged over $700. However, in July, 2017 I (her son) took the same car to have another electric coil replaced (identical service needed) but I was only charged $142.00. At that time I pulled out the December, 2016 receipt and asked why there was over a $500 difference for the same service needed and service guy was unable to provide an answer whatsoever. I have really liked the staff and service I have received at this store but I cannot support any business that will take advantage of a 80 year old women. read more

I do not like this Firestone location. If you can, go to another one. I was having issues with my car making a grinding sound. I took it to Firestone. Jason asked my how long it has been making the noise and I told him, "maybe two months" to which he replied "oh no it hasn't". He told me I needed to have my air conditioning system completely replaced which would have costed me about $1,500. I took my car to a family friend, who knows about cars, and he fixed the grinding noise. The grinding noise was coming from the serpentine belt being off, which I had Firestone replace 2 months prior. $60 to put on a new belt and tensioner vs a $1,500 quote from an arrogant manager. They are good for oil changes and tires ( so is my teenage son) but that's about it. read more

I made an appt for an oil change, and tire rotation/balance. I get there and they tell me I'd have to leave it with them because they couldn't get it done in an hour. I've used Hibdon multiple times for the same service and never had an appt take more than an hour, let alone be asked to leave it. I've seen the quality of service at this location decline steadily since 2005. I'll use Hibdon or the dealer from now on. read more
