Unnecessary $2,000+ Sales Pitches & Predatory Pricing: I am completely dissatisfied with this location. Every time I visit this shop, the default strategy is to push an aggressive, unnecessary sales pitch totaling over $2,000. During my recent visit, the staff tried to pressure me into replacing three tires and brake parts on my brand new 2024 Kia Soul, even fabricating history by claiming my front driver's side tire had "just been replaced" when I haven't changed any tires.I took my vehicle to the trustworthy Firestone location on Nellis Air Force Base for a second opinion, where they confirmed my tires are perfectly safe at 6/32" and don't need replacing at all. Additionally, comparing the two invoices shows that Centennial Hills severely overcharges for labor, tacking on separate high fees for individual tasks (like cabin air filter installation labor) that the base shop includes for free.The dishonest tactics, predatory pricing, and lack of system recording for recommendations prove this shop cares about a sales quota over integrity. I will never return to this shop and do not recommend them to anyone. If you have a military ID, save yourself the headache and go to the base shop instead. read more

Needed an oil change and to check out our tire that had a slow leak. We had an appointment at 9am and car was done by 11am. They found the nail in our tire and luckily we're able to patch it. This store definitely has gotten better over the past couple years (there was a time we wouldn't go here). The did give me a quote for tires since I will need them in the future. I go for all my normal maintenance and 99% of the time Henry the manager is the one helping me out. After being loyal Firestone customers for over a decade, this most recent visit to this location was an absolute disaster and has ensured we will never return... not just us, but our entire family. We were on the final leg of a 4,000-mile road trip when our car's A/C gave out, a brutal problem in the middle of summer. We had it inspected elsewhere and were told we needed a new A/C compressor. Since we had a deadline to return to California for work, I called ahead to this Firestone, a location we've trusted for years, to confirm that the job could be completed on the same day. I was explicitly told yes, it would be done in 3-4 hours, and an appointment was scheduled accordingly. We rearranged our road trip just to make that appointment, giving them the full day to complete the work. Upon drop-off at noon, we again stressed how critical it was that the car be ready that day. The front desk tech reiterated that it would be completed by the end of the day. Then... nothing. No update until 3:30pm, and that call even went to the wrong number, despite us updating it when we dropped off the car. That's when we were told it wouldn't be finished, and they now needed to go through the dash to remove the expansion valve. Work that would take additional time and mean they'd have to keep the car overnight. When we expressed how unacceptable that was and asked if anything could be done to keep their original commitment, Patrick, the service manager, was completely dismissive and rude. No empathy. No urgency. Just a take-it-or-leave-it attitude. We were told our only options were to either take the car as-is with no working A/C (and still pay for work that wasn't completed) or leave it overnight, which we were forced to do, as we had our dog with us and couldn't risk a 300-mile drive in 100+ degree heat without A/C. Because of this massive failure in communication and service, we were stranded in Las Vegas overnight and I had to miss work, which is not remote and affected multiple other people. At pick-up the next day, when we voiced our frustration again, no effort was made to make it right. No discount, no apology, no ownership of how badly they'd dropped the ball. Just a cold, corporate shrug. The technician did their job well and we're grateful for that, but the total lack of communication, professionalism, and empathy from the front desk staff and especially from Patrick, the service manager, was insulting. They authorized extra work without checking with us and waited until it was too late to give us the option to decline it. We could have driven at night with windows down and gotten it fixed at our trusted Firestone in California, but instead we were blindsided. Firestone, you've lost customers who have trusted you for years. This wasn't a mistake, it was a complete breakdown in professionalism and accountability. If you value your time, money, and sanity, I urge you to take your business elsewhere. read more

Today was the last time I will go here for an oil change. After an hour my name is called and I'm thinking yay ready to go.. Nope he wants to tell me all about what my car needs done. Tells me $94 for brake fluid, which I can go buy myself for probably $20. They really think you're stupid, especially females. I told him 3 times just the oil change, then he comes back asking if I applied for the Firestone Credit Card?! Wtf do I need that for since Im only here for an oil change. When you stand firm and don't let them swindle you into hundreds of dollars in extras their entire attitude changes. Nice and helpful turns into rude jerk. I paid $97 for a freaking oil change, never received the receipt hr claimed to email so I called and still no receipt. I have than my fluid exchange in six year. I drove my FORD out the garage. And like driving out the dealership a new car feeling. Service writer knew had my. Work history done on his computer. I showed up at 7:55 for an 8 AM appointment for a lifetime alignment. I was told it would be an hour to an hour and a half. I called back at 9:30 but no answer. I called four more times over the course of the next hour, with no answer, before I just walked back to Firestone. At 10:30, 2 1/2 hours after my appointment, they said they would be getting to it in approximately 30 to 45 minutes. What is the point of having an appointment? Shouldn't they have at least called me to let me know that it was gonna be delayed by three hours? If I hadn't already paid for the lifetime alignment, I would never come here again. read more

Called to get the price on a full synthetic oil change and they said $93.13, so I set up an appt as I had a $25 coupon. When I got there they said it was $95.43 so I didn't say anything for a couple bucks. I did present the coupon at that point and asked if they accepted it and the guy said "oh yeah that's good". Upon checking out he said it would be $95.43. I said "what about the coupon"! He said it was already applied. I said "you told me the price before I presented the coupon", but he held firm and there's not much I could do at that point. So tired of these auto joints that play games with prices. All I'm looking for is an honest place that I can go to every few months to change the oil in 2 cars and not worry about deceitful practices...the search continues! read more

Ok it started out a little rough as I took my car in for AC and heat not working. Was told about $1400 for a bad thermostat. After paying it still wasn't working and then told about an additional $900 for a bad compressor instead. It still didn't work so I was not happy but Henry made it right by finally narrowing it down to the problem and fixed without an additional charge and no hassle. Went to get my maintenance light turned off. The man inside was very nice even though a technician was busy. He came out and did it for me so no complaints on the man inside. Then when I am about to leave, there was a kid who was moving the vehicles as I'm pulling out he tries to rush past me and then decides he's going to park one of the cars in back of mine as I'm trying to back out. I ask him kindly to move and he gives me complete attitude and starting talking mess. Very unprofessional. Only giving 2 stars because of how nice the man was inside. read more

Many reasons to not go here: 1. I was quoted a price $80 less for a tire on the phone when I provided authorization to replace it. $119 was what I was quoted...$199 was the invoice price when I paid. 2. I was told several times the car would be ready in 15 mins...it was 2 hours 3. I was charged for an additional service that wasn't provided. I noticed it after they ran my card and the kid working the register was confused and didn't know if he'd be able to refund it. After 15 mins, I was refunded 4. They changed a tire...but my tire pressure light is still on. You think they'd check the tire pressure...being a tire repair place...to ensure they did a good job. Guess not 5. They parked my newly washed car under an awning where nearly every bird in LV must use as a bathroom. There was so much bird s**t on my car, it was disgusting. 6. Dude working the register needs some serious training. He doesn't hear what he's told, and if you ask him any sort of question he gets this blank stare. He's the guy that told me it would take 15 mins to complete, quoted me the wrong price, charged me for a service I didn't receive, and couldn't figure out how to refund me. This place brings to mind all the negative opinions people have of a car repair place. Changing prices, over-promising, poor quality of service, and lack of caring about the customer experience. Let's start with the fact that I selected tires online which came out to $735 and change out the door. Scheduled appointment for the following day which was confirmed via email. BAIT AND SWITCH. Arrived at the store 10 min prior to appointment time to have the employee form me Oh, we don't have that tire anymore. Things you should've notified me of PRIOR to the appointment. Surprise, they do have a newer model tire but it's over $130 more than the quoted price. After a slight lesson on integrity and contract law, the employee discounted them to a total of $791, still almost $80 higher than quoted. So after being bait and switched, I had no choice due to time constraints but to go with the tires they had in stock. SLOW AF! Average tire install takes about 30-45 min with an appointment. Took them nearly 2 hours to install 4 simple tires on an ordinary passenger car. Probably had a lot to do with me sitting there for over 45 minutes after my appointment time before the vehicle was even brought into the service bay. Honorable mention to the $50 in "fees" for the tire pressure monitoring system I already have that was functioning properly. LESSON LEARNED! Never again Firestone. I may also send you a formal demand for damages as well. Keep an eye on that mailbox! read more

Quality of tires and service not as expected. Had to replace a warranty tire I received and warranty tire started balding within 7 months.

Me and my mother came into the shop and needed an alignment for her Lexus ES 350. The appointment was at 10am. They said it would take 1.5 hours to be done. They would call when done. We went to the Dunkin Donuts near by and waited for a call. After a while, it was 12:45pm we went and checked on the status and they said the vehicle was done at 11am. Nobody called to tell us the vehicle was done and was rude about it when we discussed that we never got a call. Then to top it off, our tire was destroyed from the bad alignment. Nobody told us the tire was not drivable and very dangerous. Firestone sells tires!!! Why would you not sell me a tire lol. Ended up being 'a frozen caliper we are so sorry' and ' We have to do the other one at the same time.' $1200 quote so glad I came in took my keys and drove out. Called in the am (said they open at 7) finally after 5mins and 2 redials later there was an answer. I asked if they did smogs and he said yes. Nothing else. I get there at 725 and tell him I need a smog, he said, "not til 8." I asked why not now and he said the tech isn't there until 8. I've gotten great service here no matter what I needed done. From a free air check to an oil change or tire rotation, they can do most types of vehicle maintenance and repairs. They do get busy though so the only issues here are that the wait could be long, especially on the weekends. You can either wait in their waiting room, where they usually have free bottled water and a TV, or you can simply drop it off and come back. read more

I brought my vehicle in for an alignment check for a slight pull. When they were finished, they showed me a report with all green and said I was good to go. Driving home, there was a worse pull than when I brought it in. I called and they were nice about getting me in the next morning to fix it. That day, they then said it would cost $399 to fix a big problem with Cam-something. When I questioned why this was happening when there was no issue yesterday. They quickly said they made a mistake, "fixed" my vehicle and gave it back to me. It was exactly the same as when I brought it in that day.They showed me the before and after reports for both days. Lot's of red before I brought it in and all green when I left the first day. The second day, lot's of red before and still red after. I'm sure you can understand the problem. At the end of the day, 3.5 hours to get my vehicle back in worse condition. Do not have work done here. read more

If you are a woman do not come here alone they are sexist and WILL try to scam you. My wife came here because she noticed a drop in psi. They told her there was a nail in the sidewall, that they had to replace all four tires as there was no other option. They even stole her custom metal air valve cap and tried to replace it with a basic plastic one because they "lost" hers. I called up and spoke to a Ryan or Bryan and he essentially said it was her fault for not noticing her missing air valve cap. Then rushed me off the phone because there were more important customers waiting. The next day we went back and after refusing to accept the plastic one they went in the back and miraculously found her cap. We took the vehicle to DISCOUNT TIRE for a 2nd opinion. Upon further inspection there was no nail or even a leak in the tire at all. They did all of this free of charge and even did a rotation for free. Do not waste your time with this establishment they will try to scam you then blame you for it. read more
