This tire shop is incredible. They care so much about you and your car. It's the best tire shop I've ever visited. The people are nice, and they actually explain everything that's wrong with your car. I left my car there over the weekend because the part they ordered needed a couple of days to arrive. They kept the car at the shop, so I didn't have to worry about parking issues. I worked with Minh -- man, what great energy and what a gentleman he is. He's awesome and has a great attitude with everyone in the store. He really cares. I can't give this place enough credit for how they treated me and my car. I won't go to any other tire shop. Came in at 9am to get my parents car checked to see if we can patch her tires. We came in around 8:30 and still they still have not looked at the tires and when asked they gave me an unsure answer only to have been told another 30 minutes after an additional 10 minutes. Pretty much we sat there for another 40 minutes to even check the issue. Went to another tire shop and they checked right away. Even the had one bay open to check and one tech to check as well so not sure they the long wait time but not giving an appropriate wait time is horrible. Just let us know if youre busy. read more

Zero stars for service. I've no doubt repair work is 5 stars. However, service is dismal. It took 3 hrs to check my brakes, and to see if I needed to change my transmission fluid. I wasn't expecting that. I just came in for a quote because I had another auto shop I wanted to check out. Plus, I had other plans I wanted to do for that day. Needlessly to say, I didn't have the time to check out the other shop's quote, nor do all the things I planned to do. If the shop owner had listened to what I requested originally - fulfill a quote than he wouldn't have wasted his time, his mechanic's time, and my time on a quote that should have taken a few minutes to do instead of 3 hours to do! He was determined to make a sale. However, the brake job inspection is free, so that doesn't require any obligation on the customer to go thru on performing the job. Anyway, in the end, after I declined his service, he showed his true colors by angrily waving his hand dismissively, and telling me, he never wants my business. I was thinking I wouldn't need his service after my brother recommended his mechanic, anyway. I could be wrong. In this transaction with the Firestone shop owner, after comparing prices, I summarized franchise owners can't compete with independent shop owners in prices because they've to pay a franchise fee to operate their business, while the independent shop owners are under no such obligations. Thus, they can easily undercut the franchise, Firestone, repair prices. Something learned everyday! I also found out after looking at Yelp there are a lot of negative reviews on this shop, unfortunately. It's a shame I didn't review this shop before coming here! read more

Was driving and my new 2024 Subaru outback monitoring systems reacted that I had a tire pressure sensor that I was low on my psi on my passenger rear tire. So I told myself to pull over and check and there was a huge nail. So I used a tire inflater and got it to a tire shop who co happens to be the Firestone near my house and the man Minh behind the counter approached me to help me and said it should take long and just be patient and surely enough was super friendly with me throughout the process while waiting. Was informing my family that I was safe while watching tv in a comfortable environment. I will come again whenever and whatever tire needs highly recommend this place. read more

Never going to this place again. I went there to get my battery change. Because costco needed appointment to change battery so I went there and same battery from Costco at Costco it cost 178. And they charge me 263 for the same battery and labor was 77 dollars and they said free battery check but they charge me 37.99 for the battery test. This place is a rip off . Don't go there. If you have a choice, take your car elsewhere... lazy techs and the service writer lied to me telling me he had two techs on my oil change and 4 tire replacement. When I confronted him on the length of time it's taking (3+hours) and that when I worked at a tire shop it would have taken me mess than one hour by myself for both services, he flipped out on me telling me one of his techs was on lunch, he doesn't lie, and that he's 67 years old and doesn't need to work. He proved his lie just in that statement alone. One of your techs was at lunch, bud. Don't tell me you have two techs on it when one's at lunch. You don't, liar. summary: this place will waste your time a few weeks ago i made an appointment for my vehicle for tire rotation & oil change. upon arrival myself and 3 others were informed the online portal had overbooked the appointment slot, and there would be a longer wait as a result. i actually sympathized with the clerk because another guy was upset by this (and if it was a computer glitch, that's not the clerks fault, ya know?). that day, my car was dropped off at 8:00a. and at 2:30p i was called that it would be ready by 3. as i arrived, i watched them pull my vehicle into the bay. they tried to upsell me a few more items and i declined. i did not leave until 3:50pm. it's been a few weeks, and our other company vehicle needed the oil changed. knowing the online portal screwed up last time, i CALLED in and booked a 1:30p appointment for an oil change only. my technician checked the vehicle in a few minutes before 1:30, but despite us being on time WITH an appointment, the vehicle was not taken into the bay until just after 3pm. the car was not returned and charged out until 4:30. after waiting for three hours, they still tried to upsell my technician. needless to say... never again. read more

Second time here. First time, I made an appointment and waited 2 hours for new tires, wheel rotation, and alignment. Not bad I guess. Second time, I made an appointment for tire rotation and alignment. I expected a 2 hour wait. However, in reality I waited 3.5 hours. More detail: At 1 hour, they got my car up and tires off. And then, they just stopped working on it. At 2 hours, no further work was done on my car. Two other cars that came after me got worked on and finished. I asked for an update. Cuong said my car was done and needed a few more minutes. He moved the papers and my keys to the "completed" side. At 2.5 hours, still no work was done on my car. They took in 2 new cars. I asked for another update. Cuong again said a few more minutes. Then, a technician laid down my tires underneath my car. At 3 hours, the tires were still laying on the ground. A technician made eye contact with me and spoke with me. He tried to get me to buy new tires and some more services. I declined and he helped put the tires back on my car. At 3.5 hours, I got my car back. Lesson: Babysit the technicians. Ask for an update every 30 minutes otherwise they will ignore your car. Go to a different location. read more

Called the day prior to make an early appointment. When I showed up to the shop the man tells me I don't have an appointment. I insisted that I called and was given a time for that day, then he prompted me to look at his monitor to see my name because he can't find it. When I went around, I saw my name on one of the screens, but he quickly changed out of that one to another. I told him I was on that other one, and he proceeds to tell me that those are appointments made online. I reminded him that I DID call, then he tells me to call again and see. When his phone rang, he turned down the call, and then again tells me something about online appointments. As I'm getting frustrated, so is he, and he tells me "I don't have an appointment for you. You can leave it here and I'll do it whenever we have time today."........... Just go to a different Firestone. This one sucks. Been here a few times now for a "free tire pump". They must recognize me or for from getting air, because I was waiting to be addresses as they were dealing with people that came before me. As new customers walked in I was ignored multiple times. I had to interrupt a conversion with a customer to ask if ai could get a free tire pump. I was told to wait "a little bit". Ended up waiting 45+ minutes the last two times just for me to leave after. I understand if it's busy, but I'd rather take a "we might not have time" than having my time wasted. 0/10 would not recommend if you're looking to get your tires pumped. There's a tire shop, 'Just Tires' across the street that shows much more care for their customers. Firestone is a zero star if that was an option. read more

In 2019 I purchased a lifetime wheel alignment for my car, I went in today and I was told by the owner he couldn't find it and when I insisted he look again he found it and from that minute on he had a attitude with me. My appointment was for 9am he said it would be an hour I came back at 10:25am and he didn't move my car. They took it up on the lift 5 minutes and brought it back with a horrible attitude the entire time. I get in my car and it felt like they did nothing. if i could leave 0 stars, i would. my experience here was unpleasant and i'm pretty sure i was scammed. all due to one man who i didn't even get the name of. the name on my records says minh but i'm pretty sure that's the older guy with glasses. after waiting in an empty lobby for a few minutes, a middle aged guy came to assist me. no "hi," no "sorry for keeping you waiting," but a "what do you want." i had an appointment for the free brake inspection that they offered bc i knew something was wrong with my brakes. after viewing my car, he tells me i need keys for the wheel locks and they can't work on it without them. i asked my uncle who i borrowed the car from, and he said there are no wheel locks. they're just aftermarket lug nuts. i tell the guy what he said and he proceeds to mansplain me again that there are wheel locks.??? idk who added said "wheel locks" but it wasn't me nor my uncle. i was irritated he kept pushing that there were wheel locks, when they weren't. as i'm about to head back to my car, one of the technicians asks for my keys and brings the car in. at this point i'm confused because there's no communication. mr. rude finally told me they'll do their best. homie didn't admit to his mistake about the wheel locks nor say sorry! after a gruesome 2 hours, i get my diagnosis from the older guy with glasses. i turned down the services because due to their ridiculous prices. he asked me "why did you even come here." i asked for the free inspection, so i am clearly here for that. i said i usually buy the parts with the help of my dad who used to run an auto shop, then i pay for the labor somewhere else. i don't appreciate being talked to with such disrespect. i don't know if it's because i'm a young girl, but i know my stuff and it's very demeaning. to conclude a horrible experience, i am required to pay $10. i asked, isn't the brake inspection free? mr rude goes "not the whole car inspection." huhhh??? i only asked for a brake inspection, never did i ask for a total car inspection. it was never disclosed that i would be receiving a total inspection. since it was only $10 and i wanted to get out of there already, i paid it. but i'm definitely reporting them to the CA BAR. this is probably their way of getting money out of people. just don't offer free services if u don't like doing them -.- i'm never coming back here and neither should any of u read more

I tried to ask if I can go, to which you barked "Do you not see that I'm on the phone?!" and that's when I blew up on you. You then answered my question of needing nothing else and basically said "so yeah, that's all I need from you. Leave." I still didn't get a time of pickup, but I figured it'd take at most two hours. Tell me why an alignment took from 9am to 4pm. I came back to pick up my car, and I saw you right at the counter. You just looked at me, and I said I'm here to pick up my car. You slapped the paper on the counter and said "sign here" without even being able to look at me. Your manager, Minh, was nice enough to diffuse the situation and listen to my complaint about you, but the only consequence fit for this place is to shut down. I came here for an oil change and left with a screeching car. I usually get an oil change at Firestone. This was my first time at this location and I wouldn't recommend it. I pay $52 for an oil change (Kia optima) which I think is expensive but I don't really care to save money so I spend it. They called me during my oil change to let me know that I need new front brakes. I decided to get them done and completely regret it. They placed the brakes incorrectly and had me screeching on my business trip. I was on a busy schedule with work and this Firestone location told me if I don't fix their mistake quickly that they will void the warranty. I rearranged my work schedule and sacrificed time and money to abide by their rules. I called multiple stores to get it fixed and finally found a shop that had time to do it. I waited 2+ hours for them to fix it and left. I would've been fine but on my way home, the screeching continued. I fear that their inexperience and careless act damaged my car beyond repair. I have already been in the process of trying to fix their mistake for a week. It's been a nightmare and I would not recommend this store to a friend or family member. read more

They told me I need to buy a new tire and an alignment which is fine, but I'm not very well versed in cars so I needed to do my own research before I buy. Minh was very nice and professional about the situation and I ended up just paying 20 bucks for the service of putting on my spare. While Minh was helping another customer, the repair man came up to me and I quote "so are you buying a tire," I told him not at this time, I needed to think about it and before I finished my sentence the dude was like "ok waste my fking time, go talk to the manager." I called this company prior to arriving to make sure they where open for business, its early Sunday they close at 5pm. The tech on the phone said that there is about a 45 minute wait, I said okay. I drove my car down to get a flat fixed and maybe get another tire or two. I got to the shop and waited in line 10-15 minutes. This is where it went bad, a service tech came in from outside and said "we can not help you." I said I didn't say what I'm here for and your closing your doors to new customers? By then there was 3 more customers behind me for the same thing they got a flat. I said I have money and I want to buy a car tire. Time for when you have Lifetime Alignment (honored at ANY Firestone location), but this specific location will make up any excuse to turn you away to other Firestone locations--they don't want to work for "free". Service Manager here said my car was too low; however, I've never had any problems at any other Firestone location, especially when all the the ramps they use are standard. Ended up driving to the next closest Firestone and the Service Manager there took care of me and told me that he and other locations are aware this Brookhurst location turns away Lifetime Alignment customers "all the time". ie, this same day two other customers before me were turned away from this Brookhurst location, one of the customers who had a lifted SUV. Get there, 1 customer watching t.v., one employee behind a computer. He sees me walk in, goes about his business, still staring at his computer screen, no professional bome on his body, takes his time to acknowledge me. After probably close to 3 minites of standing in front of him, finally offers to help. He checks his appointments, says I not booked, doesnt even go out of his way to see what he can do.
