Can't do an oil change right the first time, loses lug nuts, overfills oil, did a shotty "complete vehicle Inspection", and overfilled my oil by a quart causing my oil light to constantly flicker. They claimed they did an A/C inspection and service and everything checked out good. This was a lie. Took it to Midas the next day. AC Condenser fan controller was shot. No troubleshooting actually done at Firestone. Glad it took 2 hours in an empty bay to BS me. read more

I brought my car here they're diagnosed it, then spent $600 for replace part and have frontend lined, then had the exact same problem. The guy said don't worry we will take care of you so I called dealership to price part, 148.00, the went to purchase that part and gave it to me at "their cost". So I paid 250 for a 150 part. They the. Charged me the shop fee and labor to put on the second part, $500.00. For the misdiagnosed part and this is helping me out. So $1100 in and I'll see if that actually fixed it. Now mind you I told them the first stab didn't fix before I left which imagine my frustration. Long story short this place takes a wild guess of what's wrong say they will take care of you but beware if you don't have your lube with you because I promise that just because they have extended hours don't mean it's the best option unless you want to piss off a bunch of money. This place sucks. Disorganized and unsafe work areas as well. I took a trip out into the shop and crap scattered. Sign on door says everyone wear safety glasses but I didn't see anyone wearing them nobody asked me to put them on I just noticed on my way out. The place is a mess. read more

I bought a set of tires here and brought my vehicle in for regular tire rotation. When I left, I had a gut feeling that they did nothing at all (it was due to the fact that one of my hubcaps is missing and it didn't change spots. I thought of myself that they could have just taken the others off and put it back them all back on in the same positions, but I made a note of it). So at my next scheduled interval, I brought my vehicle back for the regular rotation. This time I marked all four tires with a pen 1-4 starting from the front driver side around to the back drive side. After leaving, I checked all four tires and the numbers were the same in each position. I am very disappointed in such deceitful practices and my faith is forever lost in Firestone. I will never visit one of their locations or purchase anything from them ever again. read more

Will not ever go back to that place again!! Spent over $70 to have them check my air conditioner and breaks because they were making a noise. Long story short they claimed that the noise was not the breaks it was something else that was going to cost more money than getting the breaks fixed. Come to find out after taking my vehicle to another place. It was the breaks. The air conditioning in my vehicle had stopped working at the end of last summer so I waited till now to have it looked at. Firestone after running the test said the condenser needed to be replaced which it did and a rear pump needed to be replaced as well on my Suburban. Again after taking my vehicle to the Dealership in Van Buren only the condenser needed to be fixed. If I would have believed Firestone the cost would be over $2000 to get my vehicle fixed!! It is clear they lied!! Stay away from Firestone!! read more

A few years ago, I took my car to Firestone at the Ft. Smith location to have 4 tires put on. Didn't take them long and I went on my way. When I got home, I noticed all these scratches on one rim. I thgt, "What the hell??" I'm one that baby's her car and take great care of it, so to see these scratches.....grrrrr!! When I took a closer look, the rim they put on wasn't even mine! I called the store and the mgr gave me a hard time. I was already upset the way it was and he made matters worse. Then my son called and got the same lip service. I even drove my car the 5+ miles back to the store and the mgr acted like he was blind, said he didn't see anything wrong! I finally called their HQ and explained what happened. The woman was very nice about it and said they'd replace the rim, no charge. It took abt 2 weeks for them to get the rim and when I went for them to change it, there was a regional mgr there and he acted the same way, like he didn't see anything wrong. They said they checked there records and they had no other car like mine in on the same time & day I took my car in for tires. This guy ran my VIN # to see if my car was ever in an accident. It wasn't. Then he said about the only way I could prove the rim wasn't mine was if I had pictures of my car. DO I !! I told him I have dozens of pics of my car and many of them show all 4 rims and asked if he'd like to see them. Finally, they changed the rim but they gave me such a hard time about it!! Bcuz of the special tires I have, I still need to order them thru Firestone but now I have my garage put the tires on for me. I'll NEVER have them do anything for me ever again! read more

Pretty disappointed in the place. I called in and made an appointment they told me it would be about an hour and a half wait. I drove all the way from Sallisaw to change my oil changed and when I got there they said it was a 3 hour wait. As far as the work they do i don't know because I won't be using their service. read more

We were visiting Terre Haute for a funeral and realized one of our vehicles desperately needed an oil change. We asked some local friends for a recommendation, and they suggested Firestone. We are glad they did. Our vehicle was serviced quickly and the price was fair. It is difficult on the road to find a reputable place for auto service, but Firestone in Fort Smith is such a place. read more

Our tire went flat in a parking lot so we used a can of fix a flat and drove directly to Firestone. After making us wait they said we can't fix that tire because you use to fix a flat and it melts rubber and ruined the tire beyond repair. You will have to buy a new tire. So I called discount tire half a mile away and they said that's a lie bring it in we can fix it. We are at discount tire now and they are fixing it! Firestone were trying to rip us off. We were stranded near fort smith during a cross country road trip and the guys at Firestone were amazing. We called the night before and the manager ordered the parts that night so we could be handled first thing the next morning. They were great and had us taken care of within a few hours. They also accidentally misquoted us a price but stuck by the quoted price without going back on their word. Great place! read more

Took my 2015 Chevy Camaro in for tire repair and tire rotation, March 12. The tires were rotated free of charge since the tires were Firestone brand tires, with approx. 20,000 miles. Right rear passenger side tire needed repair. The next morning the tire was flat. The tire monitors were not reprogrammed in process of rotating. The dash monitor in the car now shows rear tire reading reversed from actual location. Actual tire pressure for front tires is actually the tires on the rear and vice versa for rear tires. Valve stem caps were not replaced either. Looks like the cost paid for tire repair was wasted as now the tire will have to be repaired again. Resetting the monitors for proper location of said tires and cost remains to be seen. Finding local family owned businesses are a much better alternative when looking for service and staying away from big chain service centers. read more
