Our tires are over 5 years old, the point where it is recommended they be replaced. I had been having problems with the right rear tire, so my assumption was they needed to be replaced. I called and got an appointment when I wanted it. When we got there, an individual came to the car , looked at the tires and said they were in good shape and they would check the rear tire to make sure there wasn't something wrong. They found a screw in the tire, repaired it and charged us nothing! I will go back there and send my friends. read more

Did some comparison shopping for my vehicle. Many places did not havemy tire in stock. The ones that did did accept walk-ins but the wait was excessive. These guys had my tires. I dropped my vehicle off. Met my wife a Western Sizzln, had lunch. Whne I return my vehicle was ready. How's that for a fast turn around? However, when I had a screw in a tire I had an issue. The fixed the tire - no problem. The issue came when they said the spare and car were back the way the needed to be. There were parts of the cargo floor left off. There were stadium seats that were UNDER the cargo floor liner when they placed it into the cargo area. When one assures things are good....MAKE SURE THEY ARE GOOD. read more

Ok a shout out to Discount Tire! No charge for my tire repair, and they have new wiper blades that I needed. Because of their customer service model, I went to Walmart for my pickup after I checked in. And they got my car right on the rack as soon as I got back! Everyone here is energetic and friendly. Had to order my tires as they were not in stock. Told it would be a few days, called twice and told ups fault for not delivering them. 10 days later received a call. Very nice and they were on time for my appointment. Waited for car but no one told me car was ready. Had to tell them I wanted to pay and get out of there. Offered me a discount without my asking but then added it back by raising the price of certificate warranty. Kind of underhanded if you ask me. Came in for a nail in my tire and was helped by a guy named mason. after looking at my tire, he decided it wasn't going to be safe to repair the hole due to the placement of the nail. Instead he suggested I get a brand new tire (which I was skeptical about as I thought it would cost an arm and a leg) but he went ahead and waived the installation fee, and did some other discount so it only was $60!! My dad had brought me here when they opened and I don't think I'll ever go to anybody else! read more

Got me in and out fast and it was super busy too! I tried another national brand company "RnR" all they cared about was trying to get me to finance their off brand tires that were much higher than the name brand I got at Discount Tire. At the local shop the off brand tire was same price as name brand I got at Discount Tire. Seems like the some local shops have bad attitudes and that's a turn off and I love to shop local. Best prices and great service. Two helpful hints for all of you yelpers. First say know to what they call a certificate. They then drop the price in half. The certificate is an insurance that covers you in case of tire damage beyond a hole that can be patched. They will give you a new tire. Second if you are a veteran they will give you a $50 mail in rebate. read more

Discount tire in fort smith Arkansas is by far the best I've been to. I took my truck in for a low tire. Everyone there is awesome, they patched the screw hole, and had me in and out in 20 minutes, without once trying to sell anything to me. This was on Black Friday and the place was packed with people getting service done, I expected to be there for hours..Without ever mentioning it, they also shined all of my tires! Talk about service. As soon as I pulled in to the parking lot, I had an employee approach me with a smile, greet me, and introduced himself. He was immediately attentive to my needs and was quick to put my information in their system and get my vehicle back to start getting the work done. Very clean facility, friendly employees. my wife called me the other day and said she had low tire, i told her to go across the street to discount tire and see if they could fix it, she was told they could not because it had 2 nails and a staple in tire and tried to sell her a new tire for 79.00, i came home from work and removed tire from car and found i nail in tire leaking air, other "nail" was just a sliver that did not puncture tire and staple did not puncture tire either, customer service is sure not what it used to be, i repaired the flat myself!!! read more
