Daniel, the manager, was great! Kept me informed of the progress of my 5 tire installation. As I observed the installation I noticed the mechanic actually torqued my lugs with a wrench as opposed to just zipping them on with an impact. I arrived there prior to the door being unlocked, 7 am, and left before ten. I was a 'work in' so I'm not upset in the least. I'll stick a bit longer for attention to detail, e.g. the torquing of the lugs. 4.5 stars. The showroom floor needed some attention housekeeping wise however, Daniel explained, without me complaining about it, that Firestone had recently ran a nationwide sales event so there were plenty of people who took advantage of it resulting in very little downtime. Made an appt for Sunday June 23rd 2024 at 1030am checked in my vehicle at approximately 1020am it is now 1212 pm and my car hasn't moved from the spot I parked it at I seems to me that if I make an appt that my vehicle would get in the shop around the appt time or else what's the point of an appt. read more

This is what it says and I wrote Firestone an email directly about their Washington ave store I had an estimate done today. I can see why y'all's estimate is only 9.99! First of all I want to thank y'all for at least having a cheap estimate so it gives a woman a place to start. Now suppose I believed all the crap you guys wrote up about my car considering I have taken care of alor of repairs underneath the hood in the past few years. It's ok though, totally worth the 9.99 to get a start on what's needing to be looked at or repaired on my 2016 dodge dart. First of all, not all women are dumb! Some of us ask ALOT of questions to male friends or even coworkers; I work at Toyota in the overflow parts department. My team lead is a certified mechanic, but no longer works on vehicles himself. Ok, I showed him the outrageous estimate and first thing he said was your car doesn't even have rear struts, or an axle. For a front wheel drive car it has shock absorbers in both wheels in back. Also, from my own intelligence I questioned that at shop and made a comment like oh y'all are estimating me on struts ? My dad was a truck driver and taxi driver at one point and he made sure I knew when going to mechanic unless my car is all over the road or when turning really crooked, bouncing I don't need struts! Mechanic's, even a certified one will lie to a woman to try to get their money. Struts is the number one thing. I said it does kind of bounce around in front of I'm driving at high speed on hwy and hit a bump,pothole,or r.r tracks, but only in front and not rear of car. This more than likely has to do with my power steering/suspension; control arm and ball and possibly rear shocks in back. I'm assuming the belt is ok because it wasn't mentioned. Your mechanic estmated me at a rear shock/and or strut replacement in rear of car and and quoted both. Now imagine I was stupid and didn't ask friends, other mechanics a crap ton of questions. That alone is over 1200 your company would have got me for and is horrible business tactics! You guys should be shutdown and I have read review after review and they are all terrible! Crooks is what you guys are! And that comes out of many customers mouths on y'all's company on Yelp. Also, y'all's labor is insane. There are reputable mechanics in Evansville Indiana that charge almost 45 to 50 dollars less an hour. I will be taking my car to one of them tomorrow morning. I was very honest with your associate, even the customer service lady that took my call, and they ran with it and we're going to take advantage of me if they could have in any way. Second, I had just gotten my oil changed at Valvoline a few weeks ago and there was a sticker on my front windshield of car. They tried to tell me I was way overdue for an oil change. I simply told them that was untrue and the sticker was visible in my windshield! I also paid an extra 20 bucks,had my air filter replaced. When I mentioned this to associate putting in estimate he then wrote notes about not needing an oil change or air filter. He then said mechanic did say that your air filter was good. At valvoline they have customers stay in car during oil change process. My settings were not reset inside my car by valvoline and I stated that I did it myself to your associate. Now upon pulling out of the parking lot my settings had been messed with and was reset to I needed an oil change. It should have never been touched!!! That is just insane!!! My particular car takes a full synthetic oil change too, so had I been a complete dumb woman your mechanic and associate were trying to say that I was overdue for oil change. I said nope, I even have receipt inside my glove box, would you like to see it? He said no I don't need too and we don't look through people's cars. I never assumed y'all did, but I did assume that mechanic shop doing full service work would look at service sticker on my windshield. I think I should be credited back my 9.99 based on a horrible crooked estimate! The only thing the Washington ave store did was right up an insane estimate. ​ read more

In my way to appointment I get a call there busy can we reschedule for 2pm Thursday show up at appointment they don't have my tires they have to get them from the other shop. Three mechanics talking on the floor for 30min, five bays empty, I'm the only customer. Stood near the window patiently watching my vehicle on the lift, none of them acknowledged they had work waiting. Four new tires, nothing else. 2 hours? No other customers? Completely deplorable and unprofessional. AVOID this establishment. You have been warned. read more

Had an appointment scheduled online, arrived 5 mins early. They didn't get my car inside for 30 minutes (I was here for almost 2 hours for just an oil change) while the employees were dancing and joking around and cursing very loudly and others just standing doing nothing, which I find ridiculous in a shop. Tried to get me to pay more for a synthetic oil change which I get all shops will do, but not for someone that actually works on cars. Overall bad experience and I will never come here again! read more

Crooks! Do not let them touch you vehicle! Took my Hummer in to put a tire on the passenger rear. They disconnected my breaks going to my passenger front tire. No telling what else they did I'm getting all kinds of Errors going off in my Hummer no! This happened today. Nothings open until christmas is over. Had to have it towed home. I had my daughter's car repaired at a Goodyear in Louisville - radiator replaced. Except they did a terrible job. When it broke down again, I had it towed to this Firestone location. They diagnosed the problem, and worked with the 800-number Goodyear warranty people to get the work covered. Eric (shop manager), Auburne (front desk), and Andrew (technician) are honest and hardworking. Lots of integrity and just plain good people at this shop. read more
