The guy at the auto shop said it was 100% caused by the wash, more than likely by rocks stuck in the washing equipment. When I inquired about warranty coverage, I was told the issue was caused by a rodent chewing through the hose. However, no leaks were present before the service--only a visible crimp. At pickup, I was shown a small piece of hose with a hole, allegedly from a different area of the vehicle. I was also told the original crimped section had been straightened out, then cut and spliced with a larger hose. What concerns me most is that all repairs were completed before I was contacted or given the opportunity to approve or decline the service. I was then offered a "discounted rate" as a resolution, but my concerns were largely dismissed by Michael, the manager. I'm sharing this experience to express my disappointment with how the situation was handled and to caution others to ask detailed questions before authorizing service here.

I arrived there prior to the door being unlocked, 7 am, and left before ten. I was a 'work in' so I'm not upset in the least. I'll stick a bit longer for attention to detail, e.g. the torquing of the lugs. 4.5 stars. The showroom floor needed some attention housekeeping wise however, Daniel explained, without me complaining about it, that Firestone had recently ran a nationwide sales event so there were plenty of people who took advantage of it resulting in very little downtime. Definitely a pleasant experience. Recommended.
