I bought a 2015 Mazda5 a few months ago and it was working pretty well no issues. Than one morning it sputtered and kinda skipped. I took the car to these guys and they kept it over night and started it next day, kept it all day checked everything and I was really expecting a HUGE bill. But, NOPE. I got a call from the manager that they had driven it, started it a few different times and checked it all front to bottom and said that in all honesty it was prolly just water in the muffler as it had been raining the day i started it. They had a print out of every single step and it said my car was in great shape. I asked if it needed oil or anything, the guys said no not for another month or so. No bill. They could have lied but they were so honest I have decided that when the car does need work or an oil change etc this will be my go - to-place. read more

well, I scheduled an appointment to get my tires aligned showed up to the appointment and their building had no electricity so they go to tell me that it was. It should be after 3 o'clock for me to get my car fixed. Well the lights turned on within 10 minutes of being here and they come out and tell me that they can't service my car because they don't have the certain kind of tech wasn't here today. I'm very upset because I am driving in a car that is very dangerous and not safe and they are yet letting me leave and not caring and it's upsetting me because they have 50 million people walking into the my car is the only car not getting fixed and I made an appointment . The employees basically talk to me like they didn't have a pulse in their body very rude very unapologetic and I am very upset with how the service was today. read more

Customer service totally lacking and one particular customer service rep/advisor totally unprofessional. This one particular customer service advisor needs training on interpersonal skills. BTW, this customer service rep/advisor looks and talks more like a hood. read more

I thought the days of ripping off females was over, but not here!! My AC was blowing hot air so I took it into Firestone in Anderson SC and after 2 hours they called to say I would need a whole new compressor, dryer, and valves at a cost of $1500. I didn't get it fixed and took it to another trusted mechanic that fixed it for less than 10$ plus I bought a freon recharge can. It was the valve stem that was broke. Just a $10 valve stem!! They were going to rip me off and they KNEW what the problem was! read more

I wouldn't recommend taking your car here at all. A couple of months ago, I had to get my tire patched (usually takes about 15-20 minutes of service). I spent the next 4 hours there...An hour after I first dropped it off, they came to me and said there were two nails in my tire that were too close to Together to patch separately, so I needed a whole new tire. After they changed the tire completely and I paid for it, they pulled my car around gave me the keys and I was on my way...or so I thought. I tried turning on my car and it wouldn't even come close to starting. For some reason, my battery was completely dead. Prior to my appointment, I had absolutely no issues with my battery or starting my car. In fact, I helped someone jump start their car the day before. I have a 2014 Civic and the battery was only a year and a half old, so it should of been completely fine. However, they insisted otherwise and I had to buy a brand new battery from them. 2 hours later, they finally finished up and sent me on my way. I could help but feel cheated through the entire process and I guarantee if I continued driving and filling up my tire often, my battery would still be fine to this day. They were sloppy, careless, and seemed a bit fishy. read more

I blew out a tire on the highway nearby, on the way to a weekend at the lake. Yelp to the rescue! Found these guys, friendly and helpful on the phone. Open on the weekend, so I could drop my car off, enjoy my weekend, and pick it up when it was ready sunday. The price was reasonable and I didn't feel up sold. They got it done when they said they would, even though it was a busy weekend. read more

Only gave one star to be able to leave review. This place is really a 0/5. On 5/16/22 My boyfriend requested my a/c be fixed on my truck. They claimed it was fixed and it lasted for the short drive home and a couple days of short trips. I went on vacation the car sat a week then the a/c was no longer working. Firestone said they'd fix it but not for free. I paid 624.14. They wouldn't uphold their Firestone guarantee of fixed right the first time or free. They wouldn't take my truck and let me wait for services. They said they had spots to fit me in to look at it again and would charge me labor. When they asked if I was dropping off or waiting with the truck and I said wait with it then they magically had no time that day for me to come. I took to another mechanic who verified Firestone didn't put parts on that they claimed to and the parts they did replace weren't needed. The only thing they change was a drier is what I was informed. I want a refund I have tried to work with Firestone to resolve it and they have denied any kind of responsibility and have denied any form of compensation or anything to make the situation right. The only response we got was there must have been a leak, which they supposedly tested for in the first place and falsely claimed and charged me for replacing all the seals. Update: I have contacted company by online chat call and email, clearly you are not taking the negative experiences seriously and would only like to make it appear as you are publicly. I have also learned after a call with Jessie from this location found I paid $95 for the ac performance check which was performed by turning the car on and placing their hands in front of the vents while they have the ac running to see if it's hot or cold. What kind of performance check is that? I could do that myself, hell I could find a toddler to do that for me and get the right answer for free! read more

My husband and I got towed to this place which I found on yelp while waiting for the tow truck. I made a phone call and told Shane Gilliam that we will be on our way. The half shaft, bearing/seals needed to be replace. Along with others things we didn't know about! Thank God for Doug Pruitt and John Todd for working passed 5pm closing time to fix our SUV. These guys went above and beyond they job to go get parts from not 1 But 2 different places. We were heading to GA from VA. I REALLY THANK THESE GUYS FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART bc we almost reck on HWY I-85. We don't have family in SC so we would have be STUCK IF IT WAS FOR FIRESTONE CREW. THANK YOU GUYS AGAIN!!!! read more

My wife was told at Wal-mart that she needed new tires because her present tires were worn. I took her car to Firestone in Anderson where the service technician inspected her tires and told me they were fine. I was impressed. Walmart tried selling her tires she didn't need while Firestone valued honesty over profit. read more

Firestone 3199 N. Main St. - TRIED TO RIP ME OFF BIG TIME I DO NOT recommend them for "Complete Auto Care" unless you have money to just throw away. Had my car towed to them on a Sunday 6/9/2019. Car sputtered and stopped on the open road. Day #1 They determined that the gas gauge was NOT stuck. They kept the car until Monday when the Master Mechanic would be in. Day #2 LATE Monday afternoon, they finally made a diagnosis that it needed a new Fuel pump and assembly. They wanted to charge me total over a THOUSAND DOLLARS! (Mind you an OEM Fuel Pump is only $170 before their dealer discount), and an "assembly" not really needed. Even with labor should NOT have been over $500 total. They wanted over $1,000. Firestone tried to gouge me on the price! BAD PEOPLE! ... I did not let them fix my car. The Lord knows what else they would've added. I just paid the $107 looky look-fee, and had it towed elsewhere. read more

Took my elderly "old lady" 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee in for repairs due to rough running & idling, & a power steering fluid leak. It took them quite a while to isolate the exact problem....overnight...but I'd rather have them get it right than fast & wrong! They even gave us a ride home! Then, when we came to pick the car up, they told us that AFTER they had repaired the problems, the power steering PUMP failed! Not only did they bust their chops to find the part for us at 430 on a Friday afternoon AND get it installed immediately, they didn't charge us for the part or labor! Desi said he already had had to raise the price he originally quoted us (justified & reasonable!) and he wasn't going to do it again. Desi & Tracie & all the staff were so pleasant, courteous & concerned about us! read more

I had my wife's brakes and four tires replaced. Immediately after leaving their parking lot the brakes began to squeak. Did not do that before. After calling to inquire about it was told to just drive it for several months and it would stop. Five months later I had an appointment to check the squeaking. Upon picking the car up was told they did a tire rotation and had no indication they were to check brakes. They further stated that it wouldn't matter anyway because the guy that does brakes was not there. He would not be back until sometime next week. Do they have only one guy that does brakes? And if so, no brake jobs for 7-10 days for that store. Ridiculous read more

Had an 11am apt. After 30+ minutes, car is still sitting in the parking lot. After several times asking, they finally admitted that it would be at least another 2-1/2 hours before they could even get to it. Why take an appointment if they cannot do the service in reasonable amount of time? This was not the first time dealing with long delays at this store but it will be the last. read more
