Terrible service and terrible communication…read more I brought my van in for service and was shocked to find out they had installed a new tire costing $195 without my authorization. Their explanation was that they had tried to call me. Even if that's true, they called from a personal cell phone number and never left a voicemail, text, or any other message. How am I supposed to make an informed decision about a repair when nobody actually speaks to me or leaves a message? Instead of waiting for my approval, they made the decision for me and charged ahead with the work. To make matters worse, the service manager acted like it was somehow my fault that I didn't receive their communication. It's hard to receive a message that was never left. No voicemail. No follow-up. Nothing. A reputable shop gets customer approval before performing non-emergency repairs, especially when those repairs come with a nearly $200 charge. The lack of communication, lack of accountability, and dismissive attitude from management made this an extremely frustrating experience. I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. Based on my experience, I found this business untrustworthy and unwilling to take responsibility for their mistakes. Even Pep Boys would be a better choice, and that's saying something.
