I bought some large RV tires here. The guy I spoke with when I called was great to work with. He gave me three different brands with price ranges that I could have installed, I picked Michelin. The we went through a couple of options there and I picked the higher end tire. He gave me an exact price, I agreed and gave him my name and number. He ordered the tires. Later that day, they called to say the tires would be available the next day. We took it in about noon. They had the tires installed and my pressure sensors reinstalled correctly on each of the six tires later that afternoon. I was impressed with how polite, friendly, and efficient the staff was. Also it was amazing how quickly I had new tires on the RV... right at 30 hours from the first call to when they called to say it was ready. Lastly, the price was great... Called inquiring about a quote on a camper top. The representative clearly had more important things to do than quote what I wanted. He asked what exactly i wanted. As i was thinking about what I wanted to say, I heard him say to another individual "he don't know what the **** he wants.". I ignored and spoke specifically to several items i was looking for in the product. He then cut me off told me it would be at least x price with no explanation. Stunned. I then expressed that I wanted a specific quote for exactly what I want to order. He then said you need to come in to get a specific quote and hung up the phone on me. Horrendous customer service. Just because you want something doesn't mean you should support companies who don't care about quality customer service as a supreme service. read more

Definitely recommend Discount Tire in Anderson, SC. I called to make sure they would be able to inspect a leak in a tire that was not purchased there as I had just been told by another local tire shop they would not look at my tire since I didn't purchase it there. I was then greeted promptly upon arrival and the tire inspection began. Dayton spoke with me about the tread on all of my tires and spoke with me about recommended replacement timeframes and then got me checked in for the repair all within about 10 minutes of my arrival. Since my low tire could not repaired due to shoulder damage he explained the options in stock for a replacement. After about 50 minutes I was back on the road. They ordered and installed the wrong size tire on my work van. Wheels won't turn cause they are too big. Lost a day and a half of work cause they have to order the right size. Update: They got the new tires in and called to let me know. I got up there and they told me it was a two hour wait. Two bays were open and 4 guys standing around. I understand if I had to wait for the next bay to be open but two hours? Maybe help me out since you screwed up. So, I make an appointment for 8:15 the next morning. Get there at 8:15 and they tell me it will be done in about an hour cause we have to wait for an open bay. What the hell did I make an appointment for? They really need to work on their customer service. All the guys are polite and nice is why I gave two stars. But when YOU screw up, maybe make some effort to fix the situation in a timely manner. read more

Bought the top of the line tires they recommended for $1200 and they gave us the car back with a heavy white residue on the sidewalls of the tires. Some kind of mold release wax from the tire manufacturer. Tried several different tire cleaners and they still looked like crap! Called Discount Tire certain they would have a simple suggestion on how to remove the residue. " It will wear off in time" No advise at all on how to clean them! Went for a tire patch. They broke and tried to replace my tire pressure sensor. Told me they did nothing wrong. Brought me the one that they "took out of my car" showed me it wasn't broken. Put a new one in and sent me on my way. Still having issues I went by my dealer. They told me the one they handed me wasn't even for my car. And the one they put back in my car doesn't even work. The location was only 5 minutes from our location. One hour later we left with a repaired tire and back on the road at no cost! I recently purchased a vehicle with a warranty still on the tire and even though I'm the second owner they still guaranteed the warranty for anything as far as road hazard slashing the tire leaking tire etc but they did not cover the mileage which I was only a few thousand miles off anyway. But I was looking for a certain set that we're all terrain and I could not find the set anywhere not even online ( unless I searched all day) to find a 205 70 15 all-terrain tire that isn't actually a mud tire but just a street Worthy but also a off-road tire f something were to happen with side grip and enough to handle going up a hill or you know something rough. They sat me down in there very nice waiting area gave me approximate time and they had me out of there before the time they gave me and beat every price that I had an alternative to which again I didn't have an alternative to what I was looking for just something close so they really deserve six stars in my book. read more

STAY AWAY from this place!! They have the most aggressive, rude and obnoxious sales people the world has ever known. We went in to get a flat tire repaired and before we were even out of the car, a very pushy salesman tried to sell us a new tire, that ours would be bad since we had driven on the side wall. They proceeded to lead us to huge charts just inside the door to show us how bad our tread was. It is a leased car which will be turned in in Jan. and we weren't interested in a new tire. Finally, the manager decided he would give us a free tire he JUST had but it had a bad spot and would work out in 10-15 miles. He put it on and we left. 174 miles later, it still rode like a 3/4 ton pickup truck with snow tires. I went to DT because I was told that one of my tires was loosing air because of a leak on the sidewall and needed a new tire. DT technicians checked the tire and fixed a flat that was not on the sidewall and thus did not need a new tire. I did not need a new tire! And on top of their honesty, they did not charge me for fixing a tire. I know where to go when a need a new one. Buyer beware. Without asking me, they added a charge of $14 to the cost of each tire for a" Certificate of refund/replacement." In other words, I was charged for an insurance policy of sorts for each tire I purchased. When I expressed concern, the clerk offered to remove the charges and handed me a receipt showing a deduction of $29 (including tax). Just got a new set of tires for my car today... these guys are fantastic! Explained all my options and what would be the best tire for my driving needs. They were cheaper then the other four places I called and they also offer for a small additional fee Tire replacement repair and rotation which will pay for itself since now I don't have to pay to get my tires rotated! The ride home felt great on this new set of skins! Also the manager and staff were all extremely nice and happily and rapidly working! Don't Spend twice the money at the dealership who will rip you off and make you wait longer for a lesser tire...I also called previous to going in because I didn't get off until after five and I don't like holding people up when it's time to close... but they insisted it was absolutely no problem if it took a little after six to put my tires on! Everybody that works there starts at the bottom putting on tires... Stopped by after evacuation from Irma. I picked up a nail in my truck tire and they quickly took my truck back to work on it. I thought they removed the nail, but upon inspection at a gas station nearby I found out that they didn't remove the nail and plug the tire at all. My daughter had a low tire during the January snow storm and we stopped to have it checked but they were swamped and we didn't have an appointment. They did add air to the tire for us and we left hoping for the best. It was flat the next day so we brought it back and they found the valve had gone bad and replaced it. They also checked the other tires for wear and rotated the tires since they needed it and they didn't charge us for that!
