I bought some large RV tires here. The guy I spoke with when I called was great to work with. He gave me three different brands with price ranges that I could have installed, I picked Michelin. The we went through a couple of options there and I picked the higher end tire. He gave me an exact price, I agreed and gave him my name and number. He ordered the tires. Later that day, they called to say the tires would be available the next day. We took it in about noon. They had the tires installed and my pressure sensors reinstalled correctly on each of the six tires later that afternoon. I was impressed with how polite, friendly, and efficient the staff was. Also it was amazing how quickly I had new tires on the RV... right at 30 hours from the first call to when they called to say it was ready. Lastly, the price was great... Far less than I expected. read more

I'm only giving 2 Stars because Thunder ordered two tires preemptively (per my request) in the event my two tires weren't repairable because we live in Greenwood. So thanks for that Thunder. When I arrived another gentleman checked me in, he seemed to either be having a terrible day or hated his job because his attitude wasn't that of a welcoming Discounts Tire staff member. I'm from Texas, we have a Discount Tire 5 miles in any direction. They're all always busy, always friendly & always fast. Especially when you have an appointment! We arrived just a few minutes late, our appointment was at 3:30 and I think I pulled the handle on the door to the building at 3:37. I was given a timeframe of 4:50 by the time he was done checking me in and verifying my information. As my wife and I sat in the lobby we watched Walk-In after Walk-In come in, get checked in, serviced and out the door and on their way while we sat patiently and waited for our "Appointment" to be completed. My wife and I have spent at minimum $7K-$10K with Discount Tire. We have 4 kids that we've purchased new tires for, plus my wife's Lexus and my GMC. I had 2 tires on my 2014 Sierra that needed checked, front left for a slow leak & Rear left for a puncture/ serious leak. Possible replacements under Certs (either way if they needed replaced I was ready to pay for it). We've never had an appointment for a new purchase, mount & balance or a flat repair and watched so many Walk-Ins take priority. Ludicrous. And just poor customer service, I hope the rest of the stores aren't like this in SC or we'll take our business elsewhere. Definitely won't be visiting this location in the future. Terrible guys, do better. read more

Consistently terrible customer service. I wouldn't recommend this particular tire shop to anyone.

I buy all my tires at discount tire . This location is very rude and was not helpful in their evaluation. It's a shame that they are representing the brand read more

Called inquiring about a quote on a camper top. The representative clearly had more important things to do than quote what I wanted. He asked what exactly i wanted. As i was thinking about what I wanted to say, I heard him say to another individual "he don't know what the **** he wants.". I ignored and spoke specifically to several items i was looking for in the product. He then cut me off told me it would be at least x price with no explanation. Stunned. I then expressed that I wanted a specific quote for exactly what I want to order. He then said you need to come in to get a specific quote and hung up the phone on me. Horrendous customer service. Just because you want something doesn't mean you should support companies who don't care about quality customer service as a supreme service. read more

Good store, however as with any store they are going to recommend the highest price item. Despite what they say it's pretty much first come first serve. read more

I was passing through on a road trip when I unexpectedly had a flat tire. Stopped at this store for assistance and it was a great experience during a not so great situation. Mike was very helpful and knowledgeable - gave me options and helped me choose the best fit for my vehicle. I decided to go ahead and replace all four tires. The service team was professional and worked fast to get me back on the road. I was in and out within an hour and had the peace of mind with four new tires! Thank you!! read more

Definitely recommend Discount Tire in Anderson, SC. I called to make sure they would be able to inspect a leak in a tire that was not purchased there as I had just been told by another local tire shop they would not look at my tire since I didn't purchase it there. I was then greeted promptly upon arrival and the tire inspection began. Dayton spoke with me about the tread on all of my tires and spoke with me about recommended replacement timeframes and then got me checked in for the repair all within about 10 minutes of my arrival. Since my low tire could not repaired due to shoulder damage he explained the options in stock for a replacement. After about 50 minutes I was back on the road. Very appreciative of Discount Tire today and the quick, professional service I received. read more

Second time here both times someone greeted me in the parking lot very helpful and friendly. First time my camper needed a new valve stem. Done 5 minutes later NO Charge. They ordered and installed the wrong size tire on my work van. Wheels won't turn cause they are too big. Lost a day and a half of work cause they have to order the right size. Update: They got the new tires in and called to let me know. I got up there and they told me it was a two hour wait. Two bays were open and 4 guys standing around. I understand if I had to wait for the next bay to be open but two hours? Maybe help me out since you screwed up. So, I make an appointment for 8:15 the next morning. Get there at 8:15 and they tell me it will be done in about an hour cause we have to wait for an open bay. What the hell did I make an appointment for? They really need to work on their customer service. All the guys are polite and nice is why I gave two stars. But when YOU screw up, maybe make some effort to fix the situation in a timely manner. read more

Bought new tires from Jason in June 2023. Allegedly they lost me in the system. They blame me. They tell me that the 2 new tires I just bought need to be replaced... ALREADY (8 months later)?? Mind you my car is electric and only gets 60 miles a charge. His customer service is horrible. I would've likely shopped around for cheaper tires but the day I came my tires were holding absolutely no air. This will be the last time I bring my car here. I'll pay double for better service anywhere. Jason... you need a remedial class in customer service read more

Bought the top of the line tires they recommended for $1200 and they gave us the car back with a heavy white residue on the sidewalls of the tires. Some kind of mold release wax from the tire manufacturer. Tried several different tire cleaners and they still looked like crap! Called Discount Tire certain they would have a simple suggestion on how to remove the residue. " It will wear off in time" No advise at all on how to clean them! So keep in mind, they just sell tires, and if they look like crap, your on your own. Nuff Said! read more

Went for a tire patch. They broke and tried to replace my tire pressure sensor. Told me they did nothing wrong. Brought me the one that they "took out of my car" showed me it wasn't broken. Put a new one in and sent me on my way. Still having issues I went by my dealer. They told me the one they handed me wasn't even for my car. And the one they put back in my car doesn't even work. Beyond disappointed and angry with this service. Thinking I am ignorant and would never know or find out. 10/10 would not recommend taking your car here under any circumstance. read more

We were traveling from Atlanta to North Carolina for a family function. At one of our stops we picked up a nail in the tire. Found the closest Discount Tire (we use them in Atlanta). The location was only 5 minutes from our location. One hour later we left with a repaired tire and back on the road at no cost! We were in Clemson moving our daughter out of the university for the summer. Her car had tire issues and I decided to replace all four. Went to Discount Tire where Chris Berry was the person that helped me out. He was very helpful and knowledgeable and took his time with me. This location was incredible! I made an appointment at 11am to get my tires rotated and balanced (which is a free service they perform when you buy tires through them). I made an appointment the other day and went it to get the tires rotated and balanced. I was going to leave it and meet the wife for lunch but they said it would only take about 15 minutes. They fixed my tire for free and they were so quick. Super nice people that genuinely care about you.

I The level of customer service here is outstanding. They are prompt, courteous, and they provide several free services whether or not you are a current customer. I watched someone come in with a nail in the tire and he was shocked to see that the store would take care of it. read more

STAY AWAY from this place!! They have the most aggressive, rude and obnoxious sales people the world has ever known. We went in to get a flat tire repaired and before we were even out of the car, a very pushy salesman tried to sell us a new tire, that ours would be bad since we had driven on the side wall. They proceeded to lead us to huge charts just inside the door to show us how bad our tread was. It is a leased car which will be turned in in Jan. and we weren't interested in a new tire. Finally, the manager decided he would give us a free tire he JUST had but it had a bad spot and would work out in 10-15 miles. He put it on and we left. 174 miles later, it still rode like a 3/4 ton pickup truck with snow tires. We went to a great tire store, got the same exact new tire and are happy. senior citizens read more

Terrible customer service. I ordered a tire and called to see if it was in they told me to come right down and they would put it on. Got down there and they said it would be an hour and a half before they could get to it. Why did you lie on the phone. So i made an appointment and came back. My appointment was 10 mins ago and my car is still sitting in the parking lot. This is worse than the dr. Office. Will never come back here again. read more

I went to DT because I was told that one of my tires was loosing air because of a leak on the sidewall and needed a new tire. DT technicians checked the tire and fixed a flat that was not on the sidewall and thus did not need a new tire. I did not need a new tire! And on top of their honesty, they did not charge me for fixing a tire. I know where to go when a need a new one. They might not have sold a tire but they got a new customer that will tell everybody about it. Well done Discount tire. read more

The service was good and they changed my tires quickly. However once I got home and told my husband how much all 4 tires cost he told me I was overcharged. Everyone else I talked to said I paid way too much. $780 for 4 tires. I should have done research so my mistake. But I don't appreciate being tricked like that. I am newly married and only a year out of college so it's not like I have a lot of money. read more

Buyer beware. Without asking me, they added a charge of $14 to the cost of each tire for a" Certificate of refund/replacement." In other words, I was charged for an insurance policy of sorts for each tire I purchased. When I expressed concern, the clerk offered to remove the charges and handed me a receipt showing a deduction of $29 (including tax). However, a review of my bank account shows that the original charge was processed, but no refund was processed. read more

Just got a new set of tires for my car today... these guys are fantastic! Explained all my options and what would be the best tire for my driving needs. They were cheaper then the other four places I called and they also offer for a small additional fee Tire replacement repair and rotation which will pay for itself since now I don't have to pay to get my tires rotated! The ride home felt great on this new set of skins! Also the manager and staff were all extremely nice and happily and rapidly working! Don't Spend twice the money at the dealership who will rip you off and make you wait longer for a lesser tire...I also called previous to going in because I didn't get off until after five and I don't like holding people up when it's time to close... but they insisted it was absolutely no problem if it took a little after six to put my tires on! Everybody that works there starts at the bottom putting on tires... That's a fantastic business model as there's a majority of companies just hire in "managers" that don't have a clue about the nuts and bolts of the business. -part time delivery guy read more

I had the unfortunate experience of my tire finding a nail on the interstate in South Carolina, however I was fortunate to find the Discount Tire in Anderson, SC. Mr James Little is the manager and they have assembled a great staff that embodies outstanding attributes of professional service and dedication to the customer. We were towed to this location due to the inability to access the spare tire. Brandon came up with a solution that put our safety first since the type of tire we needed was not in stock. We can not say enough about Brandon and this team of professionals! The level of customer service is off the chart. We use the Discount Tire location on Holcomb Bridge Road in Roswell, Ga and did not know their level of customer service was nation wide. We will continue to recommend this company to everyone. read more

My daughter had a low tire during the January snow storm and we stopped to have it checked but they were swamped and we didn't have an appointment. They did add air to the tire for us and we left hoping for the best. It was flat the next day so we brought it back and they found the valve had gone bad and replaced it. They also checked the other tires for wear and rotated the tires since they needed it and they didn't charge us for that!
