We had no idea that Dua Pie was a thing or that we'd be eating there last night…read more A Joe Bonamassa concert had us in town and we had an hour before the doors would open so we looked on Google Maps to see what our food options were nearby. Fortunately for us Dua Pie was the closest and I'm glad it was! The decor is very open and there's a loooong table in the center of the room for seating as well as a few booths on one side of the room. Evalyn was very helpful with these first timers and explained the options for us. We ended up going with the Calzones and they were fantastic! Stuffed with ricotta and mozzarella cheeses, sauce, and sausage. The dough is crisp yet still maintains a good chew too! Delicious, upbeat, and just a wonderful place...we'll definitely be back!

We arrived right when they opened and we were warmly welcomed by the friendliest, most positive person I've met in awhile. His patience alone was like a 20-second hug. He went over what slices were available and we ended up with the toasted cheese ravioli and 4 slices; one pep, one buffalo chicken and two BBQ chicken. The ravioli came out quick and they were nice and crispy on the outside with cheese on the inside we all raved about. The pizza was delicious and the crust was perfect. I personally really liked the decor and coziness of the inside. I'm already planning future visits to try the stuffed options, salads, and sandwiches. But back to the service. On our way out to leave, the first person we talked to stopped us and offered us a slice of cake because he knew it was my son's birthday. The Midas touch of service for us as first timers. Well done all the way around!

Then i had beef tenderloin kabobs substituting couscous for rice. It was DELISH! My husband had a Linguini alle Vongole, he gets it whenever he can and compares. He said this was the best. Then our little brother had Rigatoni alla Vodka for the first time ever, he wanted to try something different, and he loved it. We are a foodie family so we are picky...this place knocked our socks off! Definitely recommend.

The restaurant was dead when we were there so stuff came out really fast and our waitress was attentive. She brought us menus and I immediately was confused. There were no Italian options on the menu! If you're hoping for bolognese, lasagna, Italian pizza or anything else that comes to mind with Italian, they don't have it. They had a ton of what I'm assuming is Mediterranean and the menu was mostly kebabs and rice bowls? Neither of which scream Italian. It also had Mac and cheese and other American offerings, and that's pretty much it. We also saw they had margaritas advertised and other drinks that just didn't make any sense. A Negroni or limoncello would've made more sense if they were going for Italian. So overall, the menu just seemed really confused. For appetizers we got calamari and cheese curds. Calamari was really good and it was a nice portion size. The cheese curds were also a hit! I got the Alfredo and added chicken because plain Alfredo on a menu is strange, and the pasta was great but the chicken was horribly overcooked. My spouse ordered the linguine alle Vongole. This was awful lol. My husband took one bite of the noodles and screwed up his face saying it tasted like straight up lemon juice. I took a bite and he wasn't kidding! I actually pulled up the menu later and it made no sense why it was so lemony but it was so bad that for the first time in our lives we sent a dish back! Our waitress was so sweet and understanding and took it off of our bill. She took care of it promptly and we really can't say enough good things about her. Overall, I think the menu needs a rewrite. This place isn't remotely Italian and they seem to be confused about what they are. The apps are decent and the space is really cute, so there's potential here they just need a new menu or a rebrand!

First impressions were a bit confusing--the entrance makes you feel like you're walking into an office building. There's a door to the right with signage for what seems to be a sister bar that's only open on limited nights, but the actual restaurant is straight back. Once inside, the space is large and open, with plenty of room between tables and a sizable bar area. I sat at the bar and learned about their Whiskey Wednesday specials, which included several types of Old Fashioneds and whiskey flights. While it sounded intriguing, I opted not to partake. They also offer daily drink special themes. The menu is eclectic, with a mix of Cajun, Italian, and American fare. I went with the Cacio e Pepe with Elephant Ear (Orcchiette) pasta, and added shrimp along with a half wedge salad as a premium side. The pasta itself was delicious--perfectly cooked with a rich, peppery flavor. However, I wish the server had mentioned that the shrimp was Cajun-seasoned. While great on its own, it slightly overpowered the pasta. The wedge salad was a bit of a letdown--the lettuce was watery, which diluted the overall flavor. The dish also came with garlic bread, which was yummy. Service was outstanding--attentive, friendly, and efficient. Unfortunately, it was hard to get a real read on the restaurant's vibe because it was pretty empty on a Wednesday night.
