Went last night to grab 3 sandwiches and a cup of soup. We waited a half hour for those 3 sandwiches ( there was one other customer in the whole place) while we watched the employees meander around the shop. Got our food home and one of the sandwiches was wrong and they did not even put the cup of soup in the bag. I would give zero stars if I could just based on service which seems to be something our younger generation could give 2 sh*ts about. read more

Haven't been to this firehouse in 2 years and it'll be 3 times that before I come back again. What a joke!!! It started with them being out of a key ingredient on their signature sandwich. Then out of a certain kind of cheese. Then it continued to the soda machine. Every button was out of order. No drinks. Then the icing on the cake. Been waiting over 45 minutes for my sandwich. And they are not busy with 4 employees behind the counter. A family of 6 walked in and out while I was waiting. Horrible customer service. We had a very nice lunch here! The folks working behind the counter were very helpful in answering any questions and they made some darn good sandwiches. I had the Italian which was delicious and my wife had the Hook and Ladder and hot potato soup and she loved both of them. We haven't had Firehouse Subs in a while and this was a nice treat. I really love me some firehouse. I grew up at the fire station with my grandfather being a fire captain so the fact they donate to our first responders is a very cool perk to coming here. The sandwiches are very good, toasted, warm and filling! They are more savory than your standard chain sandwich shop. They do a great job and making it feel like a hot savory meal. Great place for a cold day in the winter and fall which does make it stand out as a sandwich shop. I love it and I think you will too. Try the turkey bacon ranch, it's pretty much the go to here. The food is good enough. Nothing special. I had the meatball sub. The marinara was a little sweet for my liking but it was still pretty good. My friend ordered the steak and cheese and apparently they were out of steak but failed to mention this at the time. The manager came out and apologized and got something else going for him and even threw in a free cookie, so that was pretty cool. The cherry limeade is freaking delicious. One thing that rubbed me the wrong way was that while we were eating they had an employee sweeping the dining area. No big deal, but it is a little irritating to be enjoying a meal and having some one with a broom bumping your feet under your table. read more

Though many say that it take a bit of time to get your order, I say everything good in life is worth the wait and this is no different. 5-10 minute and you have the most delicious sandwich that you can taste down to the last bite. Nice change of pace. It's everything you'd expect at a sandwich shop but the firehouse theme makes it a bit more fun. It's nicely decorated and fun how they call out the orders. Kids also fun how the kiddos get a free firefighter style hat. I've been probably 5 times and I would say the owner has checked in on me three of the five times. He's a nice guy who cares about his customers. My favorite sandwich is the BBQ brisket but the New York steamer and the meatball are also great choices. Oh and the cranberry turkey is super yummy too! The bread is soft and fluffy so if for no other reason, you should try it to see what you think of their bread in comparison to other sandwich shops. read more

A bit pricey but the quality makes it worth it. I got the firehouse pub steak sandwich and chicken and dumplings soup. Needless to say it's gone now. One star because they have either left off an ingredient or skimped on the others...or put mayo on even when I asked to leave it off. I've never complained. Been to this chain in many towns and it's really a hit or miss depending on who is making your sandwich that day. I feel like a commonality in all the stores I've visited is staff that are young, rushed and not super friendly...and having fun with each other behind the counter with their banter. Feel like an outsider instead of welcome...and expect more when I go into anywhere I'm spending money. My daughter will have to pay next time if she wants to eat here. I had their brisket sandwich, and WOW!!! It was delicious!!!! My kids got the meatball, it was good, but that brisket sandwich was out of this world. They were packed to the gills and the order took a little while, but they had an employee walking to each table and apologizing for the wait and asking if we would like him to get us a refill even though the soda is self serve. The first sandwich that I ordered was supposed to have beef and pastrami on it but it had honey ham and salami, they graciously replaced it with a sandwich that had all pastrami but no beef. They gave me a free sub card. I come back a week later and I order an Italian sub. I comes out with a pile of super sweet honey ham on it and few little pieces of paper thin salami on it. It's a GD ham sandwich at that point not an Italian sandwich! The sweetness of the pile of honey ham overpowers every other flavor on the sandwich. It was hard to finishers sandwich actually. I have been to this restaurant tons of times and this was my first bad experience, I called ahead so that my order would be ready when I came to get it. When I got there the parking lot was empty and no one was inside, they hadn't started anything and the employees there didn't seem happy or friendly, I asked for chips with the kids meal and they gave me a rice crispy for my kids and I had to ask for the drink that came with the meal. Worst experience ever! Did a online order for our work. Asked for two sandwiches 1 meatball no changes 1 turkey bacon on wheat no mayo no ranch. Online order says when you arrive go straight to pick up area and get your ready food. I arrived to pick up our order and watched as 10 other people got waited on. I finally had to ask the manager if I could get waited on. Was not apologized to or anything just told they were busy. So after waiting 10 minutes to get waited on I got my order. I take it back to work only to find i have a turkey bacon on white with mayo with ranch . So I call Firehouse and am told I can drive back over there and they will give me a new sandwich, I tell the girl that this is not an option because I am at work. She doesn't apologize or ask my name or ask any questions like to set up for me to come i. At a later time so basically I gave them money for a sandwich That got thrown away.
