What a great location, very clean and awesome service. I was greeted upon walking in and I didn't have to wait in line as it wasn't too busy. The white sub bread was very soft, as it should be, and it was toasted perfectly. The meatballs were at a perfect temperature with the right amount of cheese on it. The drink station was very clean. This is always a good place for a sub but obviously a few things have changed. While placing my order I had to repeat myself several times because the young lady had music playing in her ear buds which I could hear clearly. I'm not against it but the customer has to be heard you have to hear the customer while taking their order to ensure accuracy. Also for some reason they were lacking on the oil & vinegar, it's like I didn't taste any at all nor did I get the extra onions because I'm sure she didn't hear me. It was my first time at firehouse subs and it was good. I had the turkey bacon ranch on white. The place seemed clean the staff was friendly but it was cold! Very very cold. A little more than twenty dollars feeds two with medium combos. What this competitor has that I haven't seen anywhere else is that it sells it's leftover red pickle buckets for two dollars each. Eventually this restaurant did the right thing to amend the experience and provided a refund. But that given, my experience with this location will be my last visit to that particular store. It took about 40 minutes for me to get in and out which is ridiculous. My expectation for a sub sandwich shop is around 5 to 10 minutes. Additionally there were no sodas left in the soda fountain, only diet and sugar-free drinks were left. I had to settle for a bottled coke. When the sandwich finally arrived there were ingredients missing, and the bread had been sitting off the toaster for so long it was barely warm. There were many other customers in a hurry who had to sit and wait forever like I did, and there just seemed to be no sense of urgency whatsoever from the staff to fulfill orders. They were moving so slow. This could easily be fixed in my opinion with better training and oversight. If there was a manager on duty I definitely could not tell who that was because it seemed like no one was in charge. I think the other locations might have their stuff together better, but this one definitely does not! read more

UPDATE: I was contacted by Firehouse after posting the original review. The told me that there was an update to the POS system on that day and wanted to make it right. Changing from 2 to 4 stars after today's visit. ---- Could have been a higher review, but I bought a combo there and the menu board said it includes any size drink. I was charged extra for ordering a large drink and was told that my combo purchase (at the $2.69 rate) didn't really apply and refused to refund the difference. This place is clearly being run by amateurs. My sandwich order was placed, only for them to not have one of the ingredients I asked for. They refunded my money for my sandwich, but I was still awaiting my son's order. They then serviced 2 other customers and provided them with their orders while we were still waiting for my son's sandwich. I had to get their attention for them to remember our kids order. They also gave my child a child's plastic cup, but no staff member could identify its corresponding lid. She was able to take orders quickly, make our delicious sandwiches and went the extra mile to fix my sandwich after I forgot to add on a detail. This location is horrendous. Please do not eat here! The bread is stale and they will always leave items off of your sandwich. There is never a reasonable resolution to the issue, except come back to the store, which a person with a timed lunch cannot do. This store is privately owned so is not held accountable at all.
