Firehouse Subs - Receipt of order. - Delis Near Me - Aurora, Colorado

Decent sub. The staff is friendly. The location is clean and sandwich tasted good. It's not my favorite sandwich chain but definitely better than Subway. read more

The first time we had firehouse subs, it was through DoorDash and I was not a big fan of the toasted sub. Recently though, our work used them as a caterer and the sandwich was cold and it tasted so good so we decided to go back and get cold sandwiches, specifically the Italian, and it did not disappoint. Now that is our go to especially on Wednesdays when it is the daily special. The service has always been great. Our orders have always been correct. The restaurant is always clean and there's plenty of space to sit. read more

Firehouse Subs - Italian with cold meat and untoasted bread - Delis Near Me - Aurora, Colorado

Kenny is an excellent cashier, very patient and always makes sure our complicated order is correct. I love all the sandwiches but my favorite is the turkey bacon ranch. I love the hot sauce bar and always try a new sauce when I'm in. I eat here weekly and the atmosphere, food and service is always on point! read more

Don't go! Stopped by today to get a basic turkey sub. Specifically said no onions since onions is on the basic fixings and then just cucumbers. Simple right? The girl making the sandwich put onions AND black olives. She blamed the register guy and he told her to look at the ticket. No one is taking responsibility. She goes to remake it and I had to repeat my order 3 more times. Finally got it. Get in my car. I pick up the first sandwich a there's so much turkey on it and it falls right off the tiny bread. It was overly stuffed as if she wanted to ruin it. Took a bits and stuffed it back but gave up on it. Move on to the other half and there is a fkn bug on it! It's put in box and bag before it's out the door and I went from the front door a few steps to my car. The bug got on the inside the shop! $21 down the dam drain! I'm starving and just wanted a sandwich. You all are awful! read more

Fast and friendly every visit. Food is always delicious. Love the sauce bar and always has plenty of sauces to choose from.

6/10/24: Firehouse has really tanked. Super small sandwiches for high prices. Our 'medium' sandwiches were barely finger sandwich size. I would give 0 stars if I could. This chain has gone down hill and at this point not only would I not recommend this location, but I would not recommend any Firehouse Subs. read more

Forgot my order for 15 minutes then made me a sandwich with all the wrong stuff on it! I was looking forward to firehouse for my first time and I felt like I was ignored and slightly disrespected! I called to see if I could get the full refund and she acted like she didn't care and I felt like they were playing games like my experience was a joke to them and they didn't care! I gave full tip! I left with less money, no food and feeling like I had been slapped in the face! I just wanted a good sub! I felt like I was being made light of personally! I didn't like it! read more

I went to Firehouse on 5/15 around 4:00pm. To give back story: I was the only guest and there were 3 associates. They were friendly. As I ordered my 3 sandwiches, the girl who rang me up was the same person who made all three sandwiches. As the girl was making my sandwich, the other two were loudly complaining about another manager and what is or is not there job duties. Their language was very colorful and they did not care if a customer was in the store. When I got home I opened the monstrosity the is attached. This was absolutely horrible. It looked like the girl tried to make a small sandwich fit into a large bun. Then there were no toppings that come with the typical sandwich. By this time I was livid, because I drove home and had this crap sitting in front of me. I had no time to take it back. So, I left a complaint on the Firehouse website and asked for a call back. I also called the store to get the store manager's name and schedule so I could call. The employee said her name might be LuLu (she thinks). And that she is training at another store. Fast Forward to 5/16. I called the corporate offices and was told that there was nothing they could do except let the store know. I called the store and asked if I could speak with LuLu and was told that she wasn't here. The associate then passed the phone on to the assistant manager Tabitha. She asked if she could help. I politely said I would rather talk with LuLu. Tabitha then said in a short tone, "She will be back Monday." I said thank you and Tabitha just hung up. No good-bye just dial tone. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO THIS STORE! Against my better judgement I went to the Firehouse closest to me instead of traveling to the Smoky Hill and Aurora Pkwy store. NEVER Again. These stores are individually owned and operated. Steer clear of this one. read more

Just picked up 2 subs tonight around 7:30 pm for my son and I. One Italian, one sweet and spicy meatball. Both were fresh and delicious! Location is very clean and both employees tonight were extremely courteous and friendly. Both followed safety precautions very well. I wish I had their names to give them credit We will definitely be back!!! We were too hungry to take pics. Maybe next time read more

It's pretty competitive market in Denver when it comes to sub sandwiches and especially when i m having a cheat day, I gotta have something outstanding. Viola, Firehouse sub it is. It was my 2nd time trying it and was glad that I by-passed others and drove that extra mile to get here. Today's pick was Hero sandwich on wheat and with the slice of pickles and assorted sauces to complement my sub, I was very happy to have this as my cheat meal. As usual, I enjoyed the mayo and mustard that came with the sandwich and finished up with the sweet and hot bbq sauce. I had to mop up this great tasting sauces using the bread I want gonna eat. Hey.... I know it is a cheat meal but don't have to eat all the bread. Thanks to marvelously delicious sauces, didn't have much bread throw away. It I was at the subway, I would had no problem throwing away the bottom piece of bread. By the way, staff always greet you with "welcome to firehouse" and... they will bring you the meal to your table. I forget the guys name bit he was very polite and courteous. Taste, quality, service, character. .. i wouldn't mine paying bit more for great subs. What shall I try next time? .... hmmm... decisions decisions... read more

I ordered a build your own sandwhich, turkey, cheese, lettuce tomato and Mayo..... Untoasted. First time I got my sandwhich it was toasted, they said they would remake it. I'm not sure I'll be back here. For one, the flow of the restaurant traffic is designed poorly. No more than than one guest at a time can walk from the door to the order counter which means whether you are done and leaving or just got there and hungry there is one walkway. I had to wait for two kids and parents when I got there and an employee when I left. I got two sandwiches to go. I got a small because I don't like to eat tons at lunch. I might have filled up if they put more than one piece of brisket on there. The two bites that actually had meat were very good but for what I got I was hungry afterwards. Not worth the money. I do like their premise of firefighters and heat, but I didn't get a chance to try any of their hot sauces. They should make a signature one in to go packets. read more

Stopped in for a quick sandwich, but regretfully, found 2, unmotivated employees who speed in preparing my sub was pathetic. It was around 5-6 pm and there was only one other patron in the shop . The 2 employees didn't speak during the approximate 20 mins it took them to make a simple Italian sub. I had also asked to have oil and vinegar on the side, but we never got that either. I feel if you pay 12.00 for a sandwich it should be perfect. Alas, though the sub was supposed to be hot and melted, by the time it got to me, it was ice cold. Overall, this experience is very disappointing, I'll not return here again Chris in Parker read more

They are ridiculously slow! Even with ordering online it can take up to 40+ minutes just to get your food!! Turns out it's not faster to order ahead! Also they stop and talk to their friends and your food sites there 1/2 made. Though it was a fluke the last time. Seems like every time! Won't be back!! read more

Ordered for delivery and the order came incomplete - missing one large sandwich. The sandwiches which were delivered were sloppy, rushed, and missing components. I Called the store to receive a refund and Jenny (no idea who Jenny is??) stated that next time just call, give my name and they will add an extra sandwich to my order. HUH?? No refund. No apology. No way to deliver my family the sandwich after spending $60.00. So, I'm sure my name is written somewhere on her notepad and will never get lost for the "next" time I entrust this Firehouse store to my families dinner. Absolutely disappointed and Jenny should not be in charge of anything. #runbyteens #fail #starvingkidoverhere #NOREFUNDS read more

Food was delicious! Service was horrible. Three people working. Not one of them greeted us or looked at us. We waited for approximately 25 minutes for 2 sandwiches. Will not return to this location read more

Always slow service. Not a place to eat at if you are looking for a quick get in and get out. This has been an issue for years.

Firehouse has a very friendly staff that do their best during the crazy lunch rush and always inform customers of potential wait times. Customer service, especially the management, does an exceptional job and I eat here often. Thanks for the great subs! read more

I walked in and the staff seemed annoyed I walked in to order. Slow and mediocre service . Then the Staff were all huddled around laughing and hanging out after order was placed. The sandwich took well over 10 min. I was the only customer- 6 employees messing around behind counter. Sandwich and Mac and cheese was luke warm at best, and very SLOP- made and WAYYYYY over priced for what I opened up. I was the only customer there and they couldn't remember what I ordered. Place didn't look very clean either. Sadly don't recommend, and Sad too, cause the orders go to such a great cause. read more

I like the Firehouse Subs franchise. The only problem is that there is none in Pasadena, where I live. The closest one according to their app is in North Hollywood. Sorry but not driving 40+ minutes for a sandwich. The best thing about the stores is that they donate monies to help get firemen new equipment. Their bread is always fresh making the sandwich nice to eat. read more

Well, this is probably close to subway subs and the workers were kind but unknowledgeable about their product ingredients. I have food allergies and must be careful. So I gave them a simple meal and asked for it to be gluten-free. Which they did. But they added dressing that I did not ask for and it was suspect for MSG. They also took too long in my opinion (20min) to make three sandwiches. Will avoid in the future. My mistake. Just not worth writing about so I'll end here. read more

Slow and poor customer service. Order made wrong after long wait. This was 4/23/22 at 1pm

This is a brand new location for Firehouse so everything is super clean and bright. I came here late on a Friday evening looking for something quick and cheap and I ended up with not-so-quick and sort-of-cheap. The sub was so good, however, that I think I got and waited for what I paid for. I had the large "Club on a Sub" ($9 w/ tax) and while it took about 8 minutes to prepare, it was hot and piled high with some great meats, bacon and veggies. Very good sub and it fed me for two meals. The owner/manager took the time to look my name up in the computer so he could say "Thanks Brian" when I left which was a pretty cool thing to do - very nice touch. If you're jonesing for a hot sub and have a few minutes, give this place a try. read more

Worst experience. Ever. I though Subway had questionable employees and lax hygiene standards but today I found a new low. I repeatedly questioned the employee about the ingredients, as I am a strict vegan. After satisfying my questions (asked respectfully by the way) I ordered a fully loaded veggie sub, sans cheese and mayo. Should have been simple, except the sandwich took the girl about 15 minutes to prepare and then she complained that it was an "intense sub" and that is was difficult to prepare. Okay... I don't understand how an assemblage of veggies on bread is any more of an undertaking than putting socks on feet. I returned home to find the bread buttered and melted cheese throughout. The veggies were greasy and smelled disgusting. I had to keep my car windows down to get the smell out. I called and they hung up on me first when I asked for the manager. When I called back they said he was busy and hung up again. To add to my losing money on a disgusting, inedible sub, I noticed no one was wearing headgear and the manager was never wearing gloves as he handled the food. Altogether this seems like a corner-cutting franchise with poor business and hygiene practices. If you want food, go elsewhere in the shopping center and leave Firehouse out of your stomach. read more

This place used to be amazing when it was ran by craig and cory. It always takes a super long time to be able to get your order. They have an elderly lady working the register during the rush(she's been there months but still manages to take almost 10minutes to complete an order) when people come in during lunch hours they don't have 30 minutes to wait for food. That's their whole lunch time, and it's being waisted waiting for food read more

This is my 2nd try at a Firehouse Subs location. First time was a couple years ago and I was not impressed, but I think that was because it was a brand new location n they were still workin out all the kinks. I went to the Firehouse location here in Centennial yesterday for lunch with a coworker. This time, I was quite happy! The staff were friendly & helpful, and the wait time wasn't long at all. I tried the bacon turkey ranch & cheddar sub. It was super yummy. I was hoping they had wraps here and were a little less expensive..which is why I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5. read more

Quick and friendly staff. U must try the hot sauces with the sandwich. I'll be back for sure.

I realize it's lunch time, but our wait was 1/2 hour. The guys did work very hard at trying to accommodate the crowd, but they needed more help. The food was great as always. We tried the Mac and cheese- for the price and how much we got, it wasn't worth it. The cup was 1/2 filled but the advertisement shows a full cup. Not sure if I'll come back. read more

I usually don't write reviews, especially negative ones. But I've now had two disappointing trips to this location. Both times I have ordered online and both times they haven't been able to get it write. Namely they always put pickles on the side of my sandwich despite requests in multiple spots not to. Now I really hate pickles and even though they put them in a bag I can still taste pickle juice that has made its way onto the bread. At least the second time they didn't include mustard. I would try a different location if you have the choice. I enjoy Firehouse Subs but the staff at this location can't seem to read a ticket. read more
