The sandwiches are always made to perfection at this Firehouse Subs. I love the different varieties of soda available to customers. My husband received a Labor Day deal reward for a free 8 inch regular sandwich with a purchase of a regular or large sub. Firehouse is his favorite fast food place. This is my first time going to Firehouse. Only coffee this morning so I stopped by for a late lunch before I got hangry. A beautiful Lady named Nawal(love the name!) took my order. She was both efficient and knowledgeable. My sub was out to me in no time as I dined in. I went around 1:30 pm and the restaurant waa not busy at all. My sub was fresh and tasty and, of course, I had to round out the meal with some Jalapeño chips and a diet soda(I happen to love diet soda!) and they have the nice machine that lets you mix diet sodas to your hearts content. The team members here get a big thumbs down. My first dine in visit here with a friend, I wasn't so impressed with the service. Recently I decided to give this location another try by ordering line this time. I wanted to restroom. I walked by the rack that had my food already prepared with my name on the bag directly to the restroom. That's when I figured out I need a code to use the restroom. I walked to the counter and asked the male employee for the code, which he gave me. They the female employees started telling him in Spanish I wasn't a customer, I shouldn't have been given the code. My first visit to this location, immediately I observe, a male, about 6 foot tall, dressed in black, Firehouse attire, berating a female employee on the line. Not my problem, I'm just here to order a sandwich. David P. took my order, one large Steamer. I paid, then sat right down. About 6 minutes later, the same male employee dressed in black, approaches the cashier (David) with some papers clenched in his fist...now it appears this individual is mouthing off to him (David). I patiently waited until this man walked into the back room, behind the line, into what appears to be their stocking area. Immediately, he starts shouting at the female I first observed him berating when I walked in. I got up and asked David for that man's name. David said "It's okay. I'll talk to him". I said "No, that's not what I asked you. What is his name"? As I pointed directly at the man in the black attire. David said "Derrick". I said "Thank you" and sat back down. A few more minutes later, the female employee called my name, I took my sandwich and left. In keeping with the theme, there are several dozen or more chili sauces from brand named and lesser known sauce makers alike that customers can add to their meal to "heat" up there sandwich or salad if you want to add some fire to your taste buds. Like they do at California Burrito - I love that! I like the way they great every customer that comes in and the branding tie-in with their firefighter history and community support initiatives. The store is clean and new and well staffed for the times I have been there. Have patience as they appear to have a big pick-up and delivery business, so your order may take longer than it appears is should. but the friendly staff are working the line and will deliver to your table a hearty meal that didn't beak the bank. I have never been able to eat my entire meal in one sitting. I suppose if your in a hurry, call ahead and the food will be waiting for you. Went in today and they were only doing take-out as per the governor's orders - cool, as they should. Besides that, the absolute minimum, they had no safety precautions and no PPA. The staff were not wearing gloves or masks. They had hand sanitizer out by the register but it was empty. Just an unsafe environment considering the condition of the world. I would not recommend coming here unless you don't care about your health. Side note: not as important, but I'll throw it in anyway. Needed to leave a review for this Firehouse Subs. First, the wait time said 60 to 80 minutes. Well, I had my order in about 10 minutes. The bad part was that the sandwich had all the things on it that I did not want, which I had written out in the special instructions. So I called and the young woman who answered apologized very kindly and said they will get another sandwich out to me. Not 5 minutes later the manager called and was very apologetic.
