Within one session I was feeling better because of her counseling. Her advice and suggestions were kind, simple, and extremely effective. Within 2 sessions I no longer felt like I needed counseling anymore. It's been a year since I saw her and I'm still feeling good and using the tricks she taught me. Ugh I had high hopes that this place would be great for my daughter but she NEVER over a few…read moremonths, spoke to the "therapist" about her feelings or problems. They legitimately chatted like they were having coffee. My husband kept saying that she was just getting comfortable with the new therapist, but after switching to a psychiatrist, we were diagnosed with ADHD, Anxiety and depression due to ADHD immediately. In less than one month we have made more progress than we saw over the course of several months at this place. The other thing I want to mention is the lack of professionalism of the staff in the office. I got multiple calls first to say they can see her, I made sure she was with "Alli" as that's who she requested, then the woman said oh sorry she isn't taking new patients. So I said okay nevermind then. She called back a few minutes later saying Alli WOULD see her. I said great, how can we schedule her? She said oh, I'll have to check her schedule and call you back. I was like what is happening? You don't know how to use a computer AND TALK on the phone? I was SO aggravated with the staff by the end of just trying to get appointments. Then, since they are all online appointments, we had LOADS of issues connecting. Not us. Our new psychiatrist is online, as is my former three therapists and I never had so many issues. All in all TOTALLY a waste of money and time.

I was in serious need of support, which was discussed at the intake, so they knew this was a high priority. I was told they were going to match me with a really good fit therapist as quickly as possible (that same week or early the next week). Never got a call back. I tried reaching out after another week or so- they said they were going to try and find out what the delay was and get me set up with therapy right away, then never called back. I tried setting up my own appointment through the portal with the next available therapist-- booked an appointment but then the provider immediately cancelled it-- it just disappeared off the dashboard. At that point, I moved on. Then about a month and a half later, I got a random call (voicemail) that was like "hey, would you like therapy? Call us back." The whole point of the intake was to figure out which therapist would be the best fit, so it was pretty insulting to go through that whole process, then be totally forgotten, and then offered therapy (maybe) with just some random person (which I'd already tried on my own anyway). It was clear that this place wasn't organized or able to handle my case, so I blew it off. A few days later I got a bill for $218!! First, therapy is expensive, but I have never been charge anywhere close to that by any other provider. Second, that was -- I assume-- just for the intake, which was just to get me set up with a therapist; I never spoke with an actual qualified therapist, nor did I ever receive any services. If anything, it was a huge waste of time for me. Third, I was guaranteed that both my insurance providers were accepted, so this "service" should have been 100% covered. The bill has no details whatsoever, so I assume they never billed the insurance and/or lied to me when they said they were accepted. I've been getting daily reminders about the bill-- I called them and told them that there was no way I would be paying that bill and that both my insurance numbers should have been billed first anyway (no answer so I left a voicemail). Never got a follow up call and they are still sending me daily reminders that I owe them money. All of this seems pretty unacceptable to me, but more so because this place is supposed to be supporting people already going through really hard challenges and trauma; instead of getting support I got another headache to deal with.

Did a neuropsych assessment for our child. 3 visits in March. Finished the review 8 months later…read morein the fall - after everyone returned from summer break!!! Just called to ask about treatment for another child. The person answering the phone said we could be waitlisted for an intake, and after the intake, they would see if they could provide therapy. We already have a diagnosis and they refused to say whether they had someone who could actually provide the therapy. They insisted we would need to pay privately for intake testing (for the purposes of therapy first). Not impressed.

PEDIATRIC NEUROPSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION…read more BUYER BEWARE. You will be waitlisted for weeks to months. Before ever meeting with a person you will be expected to pay the full cost of the evaluation. Make sure to ask what tests will be given and what data will be provided. We did not due this and were surprised, in a non-positive way, that the only test data included was that which the advisor of the student assessor, who actually administered the tests to our child, thought to be relevant to her method of diagnosis. The licensed advisor was never present during any of the evaluation or testing times but instead "discussed" what went on during the sessions with the student assessor at a later time. Individual test results and data are not summarized. The report is about 8 pages long mostly consisting of summarized background health data. There is about 3/4 or a paged called "Interpretation of Results" where not actual test or data is referred back. This gives an overall opinion and diagnosis based primarily on observation and very little on actual test results or data. This is from collaboration with an advisor after the fact (remember of a Pacific University student with limited or no previous experience). Overall you could get this at a fraction of the cost by going to a psychologist. If you want data or any type of customer service then this is not the place. The student evaluator had a extension at the clinic which she ONLY checked if she happened to be in the clinic that day. We were specifically told by the advising psychologist that there is no number at which to reach her. We could leave a message with the director or office staff and they would pass it along. We were also told by the advising psychologist that she did not have any appointment time available for a follow-up meeting in person to review our report (which was not complete or even available to see when we met for our closing session WEEKS after testing was finished). Don't be fooled when they say "we're available" in the introductory interview.
