We were traveling and got it to go so couldn't correct anything or get money back but literally awful. This is a small business that is definitely more pizzeria than bar, but it does have a small bar area with just a few stools, but the stools were filled and the people were friendly (both the service and the people at the bar) and the drinks were cold. There are not a lot of pizza options right around here, so Firecracker's Pizza definitely is a plus fir the community. read more

Well I'm still here in Joelton and it's across the parking lot so here I am. A simple design in a larger building with a small bar. I guess they are friendly enough although she appears distracted. There is one other person here but it's still early and It is game day after all. Speaking of which there are three televisions broadcasting the Vandy Noter Dame game. I choose two appetizers Cheese Cubes and Fried Zucchini while I attempt to decide what I will be punishing my gut with next. While the fried cheese cubes are interestingly good the zucchini leaves something to be desired I suppose maybe the grease was to hot there is a good crunch on the outside but the inside is mush. I intend to eat them anyway. The menu is minimal and doesn't offer a great selection however the folks at the hotel say the burgers and tenders are great but the pizza is only good when the guy is in the kitchen. I admit I have no clue who is in the kitchen. These cheese cubes are really good I'm not sure if I mentioned that. After 18 long minutes my burger arrives and I'm surprised to find a buttered and grilled bun this is looking up. The veggies are sufficient. Although the burger is cooked a little more than what I would have wanted it's still very good I'm actually impressed with the effort here. I certainly won't be finishing this meal I just can't hold it. This has turned out to be a great experience and I'm glad I came it's five stars from me and it's definitely a do over! I was excited to hear about the new pizza place in joelton! Let's help it succeed so a few more options follow! I tried a pizza with mushrooms, green olives and jalapenos - it was tasty. The green olives were whole and they were generous with their portions... so it became a little to salty for me, but I just picked some off. I'll definitely visit here again! $2.50 beers?! Heck yah Suggestions for the restaurant: 1. I would put a "please seat yourself" sign at the door and a "order to-go here" arrow at the counter. 2. I would love to see a pesto or white sauce option in addition to marinara. 3. Very friendly and accommodating. Came to watch a high school football game and rested on the phone for a dine in. When we got there our drinks and apps were in the table and the pizza came out right away. The bourbon wings were huge and amazing flavor. Will definitely go back when in town. read more

My wife got me in a mood for pizza and I decided to try this place out. The kids got wings and I ordered a pizza for carry out. Now it was a little tucked off but once I found it, it seemed like a nice place if I ever wanted to bring the family. Food was hot and ready. When I got home we were all pleasantly surprised. First impressions are EVERYTHING in a small place. I came in at 6:45 (dinner time....) and the waitress was outside on a bench. I walked up having never been here and she asked "are you placing a takeout order?" I said no, but that I could if needed. If I hadn't been in my tractor-trailer and hungry, I probably would have just left. (She apparently wasn't feeling well...but if that's the case, should she be there?) The pizza came out quick, hot, and fresh, so I can't complain about that. Portions are good and toppings are generous. Worst pizza I've ever had! The hotel near by recommended it and we tried it out and was disappointed with the results. Spent $70 on two large pizzas and 12pc wings. The wings were wrapped in little Caesars paper which threw me off. The supreme pizza had jar olives and black olives, jalapeños and banana peppers which were gross. It tasted like a poor man's pizza which had anything they could find in the fridge and threw it in the oven. The dough was not cooked it was still raw in the middle. The sausage tasted like venison which is not what I would expect. They have good reviews on here which I took into account when ordering but it seems they got all their friends and family to leave good reviews. -1 star for me. Eat at the McDonald's across the street and don't waste your hard earned money on this place or their other family business's like the family diner. read more

This place was recommended by a work colleague, and it didn't disappoint. I've spent a lot of time in Italy and southern Brazil, where the pizza is even better than in Italy IMO, and would rate this highly. Firecracker's is American pizza, which is not a bad thing of course, and it's very, very good American pizza. They have an interesting variety of sauces for the wings, so they're on the right track. But a key improvement I'd suggest (if they read these reviews) is that they make their own ranch and blue cheese dressing from scratch, which isn't hard to do and makes all the difference in the world. If they started doing that, I'd definitely try the wings again. read more

Food was good but the service was HORRIBLE. The only one who knew what was going on was Peanut. I know we came during dinner time (630pm on Saturday) but it should not take over an hour for a pizza and a cheeseburger. Other waitresses were just hanging out at the bar on their phones....We couldn't even get their attention for a refill of water. Really high prices for burnt pizza. I've came multiple times asking for pizza not cooked as long and I always get burnt pizza and a high bill. Not to mention the 1-2 hour wait and drunks in the corner yelling. There was thrash all over the floor including pizza sauce, and cheese. read more
