After asking the DJ several times to run through the ceremony songs and times with me prior to starting, he answered every time with "I have the Spotify I have the list" to no surprises he completely messed up the brides entrance and then the first dance song which we specifically asked him to cut to a certain part and he played it entirely. To add on to our experience multiple songs on our "must play list" were never played and each time we approached the DJ the response was "we still have 3 hours" it wasn't until the last hour of our party that the DJ decided to tell us he did not have wifi ... this is something we could have easily fixed also something we offered before the beginning of the party. All the DJ seemed to know to say to our guests, bride and groom when they had a request was "I have a contract you signed" a contract that also included specific instructions from the bride and groom of the songs that were essential to be played and he didn't seem to care about that then. Not to mention that at one point he completely stopped the music when switching songs.... the party ended with one of our guests connecting their phones .. quite ridiculous considering the amount of money they charge.

My room was spacious and comfortable, and both the bedroom and bathroom were spotless, which is always one of the most important things for me when staying at a hotel. The amenities were definitely a highlight of the property. Everything felt modern and upscale, and there were plenty of spaces throughout the hotel to relax and enjoy the property. The overall atmosphere was very welcoming and made my stay feel a little more luxurious. The location was also perfect! It was convenient for getting around and exploring the Miami/Aventura area without feeling like I was too far away from everything. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at the Hilton Miami Aventura. Between the cleanliness, amenities, beautiful property, and convenient location, I would absolutely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again on a future trip!

I booked this hotel as a convenient pre-cruise stop between Fort Lauderdale and the Miami cruise…read moreport in April 2026. Unfortunately, the experience was frustrating from the moment we arrived. We got there early and were told the hotel would hold our luggage while we walked to Aventura Mall for lunch. That seemed helpful -- until we returned to check in. Our luggage was nowhere to be found. Staff gave us three different stories: first that the bags had already been delivered to our room, then that they were "on the way," which they weren't. After an hour and a half of confusion, my husband finally went to the luggage holding area himself and found our bags sitting there. The lack of organization was unbelievable. The bathroom wasn't dirty, but the shower was a terrible prison shower -- extremely low pressure and water spraying everywhere except my body. I also hate this hotel trend of the toilet having a glass door. This is dumb and the trend needs to end now. I am very close with my family but I don't need to see me in that way or have that level of visibility. Other problems during our one night stay: - Room service not offered despite being listed on the website - Laundry room is "free" but only has 1 washing machine and 1 dryer for the whole hotel and the vending machine for soap was broken. - Dirty drinking glasses in the room - A leftover water bottle in the trash from the previous guest I was only staying one night so no I didn't bring any of this up with staff (except the luggage stuff - that was important) but I am not staying here again. The only "benefit" of being a Hilton member was being given a room temperature bottle of water in 90 degree Miami heat and humidity. My search for a pre-cruise Miami hotel continues.

As a frequent guest of Marriott properties, I expected a much better experience from this hotel…read more Unfortunately, it fell well short of the standards I've come to expect. We requested and were approved for an early check-in at 1:00 PM. When we arrived, we were told our room wouldn't be ready for another hour. We checked back at 2:00 PM, but it still wasn't available. We ultimately didn't get into our room until 4:00 PM. To make up for the delay, the hotel upgraded us to a different room, which was appreciated, but I almost wish we had kept the original reservation. The room was disappointing. The floors were dirty, the ceiling had numerous water stains from what appeared to be previous leaks, and even the paper coffee cups and coffee packets looked dirty. Overall, I left very disappointed and hope the hotel addresses its cleanliness and room readiness issues. On a positive note, the surrounding area is absolutely beautiful.

We stayed on the AC side last time and it's gets a bit confusing…read more Differences is the element side - rooms have a kitchenette and free breakfast is included. You still get the dining credit (against the resort fee) on either side. Check-in was much smoother this time. A room was ready right away which was amazing after an early travel day. Biggest negative for me was the pillows provided. They were super flimsy. If it were more than a one night stay, I would have asked for different ones or extras. The room was clean, AC was strong and the bed was comfortable. The continental breakfast included a hot option cooked fresh but no omelettes. There is also a waffle maker, various breads, yogurt station etc. But, strangely, the plates are tiny. Probably to keep people from taking too much or going back to their rooms. Location is great- walking distance to a mall, food options etc. No airport or cruise shuttle though.

In 1964 Muhammed Ali defeated Sonny Liston here and in 1968 it hosted the Republican National Convention. Between 2015-2020 the convention center was renovated at a cost of 620 million dollars. Today it is a 1.4-million-square-foot, LEED Silver-certified facility. There is a Grand Ballroom, 500,000 square feet of flexible exhibition halls, 4 junior ballrooms, outdoor terraces and parks, and eighty-four breakout rooms. One of the biggest events of the year is Art Basal. More than 600,000 people visit the convention center every year. If you are coming to the convention center you can park at the convention center garage for $20 or walk a block away to the 17th Street garage for $2 an hour. The convention center is a large, modern space that was ideal for the event I attended, Playoff Fan Central, an interactive experience held over three days in conjunction with the College Football Playoff National Championship. The convention center is so large that a football field was constructed inside along with all of the other booths and exhibitors. The restrooms were convenient and clean. Security was tight and and I felt safe during the event. The convention center is across the street from the Miami Beach Botanical Gardens and withing walking distance of Lincoln Road and many other Miami Beach restaurants, shops, and attractions. It's convenient location makes it particularly attractive to visitors.

It's bright, clean, modern, and massive--yet still felt well maintained throughout the event. With large venues like this, I'm usually skeptical of the restrooms, but kudos to the team. They were clean, thoughtfully designed, and well kept. I especially appreciated the full privacy between stalls and the dedicated space to place your bag. It's the little things that make a difference. Parking was fairly easy, and getting in wasn't an issue. One improvement would be clearer signage directing guests to the best entrance based on the location of event rooms, which would make navigating smoother. Overall, a solid venue for large-scale events with great attention to comfort and cleanliness. IG @shallonztable Where food meets adventure. See you back at the table.

We did get upgraded from an ocean view room to a coastline view suite and appreciated being able to choose between the two at check-in. Even with the upgrade, the stay didn't live up to expectations. The biggest issue is that the property feels dated and poorly maintained. In our room alone there was peeling laminate in the bathroom, likely from the tub faucet spraying toward the window, a shower that never got hot enough, and on our last day the closet door handle literally fell off. Not what you expect at this price point. Service was inconsistent. We walked into our room at one point and found housekeeping sitting on the couch. Valet was also frustrating since the parking attendant couldn't clearly direct us to visitor parking, so we ended up paying for valet every day. The hair dryer was low quality with only one heat setting. I use a salon-quality dryer at home, but even compared to some 4-star hotels this felt like a downgrade. Small detail, but it adds up. Food was mediocre and overpriced. A $22 piña colada mocktail was basically a slushy. Nothing we had stood out in a good way. The pool area is smaller than expected and not particularly nice for a resort like this. We were expecting more, whether that meant a larger pool, a second pool, or something more elevated. The beach was the highlight. Chairs and umbrellas were included in the resort fee and the staff there were genuinely warm and attentive. There was also noticeable construction noise and sound from the nearby bridge, which took away from the overall experience. The blackout curtains didn't fully close, which made it harder to get good sleep with a baby, and the balcony furniture felt minimal. Overall, this felt like fake luxury. The branding is there, but the experience doesn't match. Not worth the price and we would not stay here again.
