First, it was so easy to find. The landscaping is maintained, the building had a modern finish and the staff was super helpful. Then it's very spacious and cool inside. I went to the wrong building to pay my ticket. So, an employee told me specifically, where I needed to go. So helpful! Next, I walked into the other building and I was greeted with a warm friendly smile. She put her mask on before she came to the window. So polite. Also, there's was no wait. I went at 4:45ish and I was in and out. The clerk explained all my options regarding my citation. Finally, my citation was taken care and I enjoyed my experience here. Who wouldn't want a city hall that's well taken care of, from the inside out, and has great employees.

I believe there are tours available on Saturdays, but it was closed upon my excursion. After walking around, taking in the historical aura, I walked into Trinity Park as well as paid a visit to the Will Rogers area. I was so impressed with the informational markers on site, I willl make it a point to come back for a tour. Maybe the guides will be dressed in era appropriate attire. Anyway, don't miss out on learning one of the pillars of Fort Worth.

The story was clean with an inspirational cultural references to Texas Baseball. I presented his small book and ask the library to include it in their children's section. The head librarian, Curren McLane, rejected the book solely on the basis of not being written by a local meaning Azle resident. She did not cite a reason published in Azle Memorial Library policies. I believe under the circumstances, Ms. McLane should remove all books from the children's sections that are not written by Azle residents and rewrite the libraries's policies to exclude all authors that are not Azle residents from having books in the children's section. What was her objection to a published book about boys playing baseball?

For younger ones, you will be so pleased by the huge variety of board books. They also have a separate teen room with books and reading space. I LOVE their summer reading program. It is a highlight of mine and my daughter's. I love the chance to win a prize and I end up reading my books much quicker. Staff helps me pick when I get genres I'm not used to, and I have enjoyed their recommendations. I usually get holds very quickly too. If you ever need to print large quantities of paper, do it here! Much cheaper than any other place. If you need activities to do for you or your kids, you will find something here.
