She tries really hard. As for food, the combo plates are a must. I usually order jerk chicken with mac and cheese and candied yams. My fiancé will usually order oxtails with candied yams and mac and cheese. All plates come with rice and peas. Sometimes, we'll also get an order of fried plantains, but it all adds up very quickly. The combo platters alone are around $22 each. The jerk chicken is really tasty but definitely has some heat. The portion and seasoning are very generous. It goes really well with the sweetness of the yams. My favorite curated bite is chicken skin, yams, and mac and cheese. As for the oxtail, it is very tender and very flavorful.
