Shoutouts to the bartender for being open to modify the passion punch for me, I owe him a bigger tip next time I come by! The drinks were great- not too sweet and strong. I visited again and was able to try the food which was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately I wasn't able to try the gnocchi but was able to try the curry shrimp and Mac and cheese. The curry shrimp was spicy and hot with a lot of gravy so I would suggest getting rice with it as well so you can sop it up. The Mac and cheese was reallly good which shocked me because Caribbeans aren't known for good mac (no shade)- it was cheesy and flavorful!

I had a soursop cocktail and jerk chicken with beans and rice. Both were delicious and generous. Service was friendly and attentive. I hear they have a bottomless brunch too.

It didn't take long for us to decide what we wanted to order. However, I was torn between the jerk salmon and the oxtails but the oxtails won the battle with a little help from the gentleman. My son ordered jerk chicken as his entree because that's his favorite. My son and I both agreed that the food was delicious and the meal was truly satisfying and enjoyable. Excellent job, well done! I would definitely come back and support this business again.

This is one of my favorite go-to comfort spots. The food is great, but the service is iffy…read more I will usually call ahead to place an order for pick-up. Sometimes there is an older lady working the front/phone who will refuse to take an over-the-phone order. Sometimes you won't be able to get someone on the phone right away. This usually means that you'll need to go in person and will have to wait an extra 15-20 minutes. She is usually overwhelmed and flustered. She can be snippy, but please be patient. She tries really hard. As for food, the combo plates are a must. I usually order jerk chicken with mac and cheese and candied yams. My fiancé will usually order oxtails with candied yams and mac and cheese. All plates come with rice and peas. Sometimes, we'll also get an order of fried plantains, but it all adds up very quickly. The combo platters alone are around $22 each. The jerk chicken is really tasty but definitely has some heat. The portion and seasoning are very generous. It goes really well with the sweetness of the yams. My favorite curated bite is chicken skin, yams, and mac and cheese. As for the oxtail, it is very tender and very flavorful. Keep in mind that these oxtails aren't the sweet kind. They do have some spice and are savory but not sweet.
