They were apparently the best lobster ever tasted. The chef said southern Australia cold water lobster. Sweet and supposedly so good it didn't need the drawn butter. I don't eat lobster but i trust that input because shes eaten alot of lobster from various restaurants. If i have one bad thing to say its that they could use some sound absorption panels. The walls, ceiling, and windows are all hard surfaces that reflect sound. I believe some decorative sound absorption panels on the ceiling would reduce noise level without hurting the ambiance of the restaurant

The chef has dropped by my table a few times after we've eaten just to make sure everything was good and what we were wanting. The service is always rather quick and polite too! The overall ambience seems to still be developing as time goes on but nothing bad. A great "burger" joint (with far more selections) that hopefully continues into the future.

This is the worst bar I've ever been to. As I sat at the bar the bartender gave me dirty looks…read more There were patrons who were clearly too intoxicated to be ordering more drinks but she didn't care and was fulfilling the drink orders anyway. Fights were breaking out due to the bartender not cutting individuals off when she should have. It got scary at one point I was afraid. It's pretty much a dive and will never go there again. The tattoo parlor is nice above and definitely will return there again. Unfortunately I need to give a star to post my review but I would like to give no stars.

After a few visits I've found it's actually a lot more than that. Pre-pandemic they would have a ton of live entertainment come through and not just boring or sad stuff you'd expect to see in a small joint - they really do care about bringing in good entertainment and the bands I've seen have not disappointed at all. There's a few different areas for stretching out, including what looks like a party room with a pool table and some games. Usually when I've gone they've had a raffle out for one charitable cause or another too. I'm not sure exactly what they're doing during this far into the pandemic but the visits I had before it all broke out were nice, and when I went once over the summer there was a huge outdoor space available for people and people were sort of keeping their distance inside.

My dogs in this visit were just fair as they were luke warm and got lost in the bun which was also just fair. As many have noted, the waitress, who I believe is a co-owner, is charmless. There is no warmth and you will no doubt be treated like an unpleasant intrusion as you are sullenly indicated a table and served. The menu is standard old-school cafe fare and I think one of the few appeals of this place is that breakfast is served all day which is a rarity in Antioch. They boast a sign that says "voted best hamburgers" but it doesn't state by whom: I assume it is a award they have given themselves and to be fair, the burgers are hand-formed and juicy. The burger and patty melt we ate was flavorful and I have to give them credit for it. They are also the cheapest place in town to eat which I think accounts for the loyal regulars that keep this place going because it ain't the ambiance or charm. Lowered expectations will be rewarded but under NO circumstances visit the bathrooms.

Tonight swayed my opinion a little bit for the following reasons- please keep in mind the outside temperature was 90 degrees and it was "fly season" - French onion soup = fantastic - service= very good -temperature inside= probably 80 degrees. Had to get a cup of ice for my beer - flynado. Literally could not have an enjoyable dinner AT ALL. A fly flew into my eyeball. There is no reason to do ZERO to even try and to control this. Employees couldn't have cared less. - bathrooms have ZERO air conditioning or ventilation and had no soap. Probably won't be going back.
