I was very satisfied after cooking my meal which was fast and simple. Super clean store. Helpful Staff. Great Options for all dietary needs; Proteins, Carbs, Vegetables, Seasonings, Snacks, etc. They have protein shakes available too. I chose Shrimp with Smokey Chipotle Seasoning along with Zucchini & Cauliflower. It was all delicious. I don't have a pic of food but it was $16.49. I figured it would cost at least that eating out. Definitely recommend.

The fact that we have to eat three times a day, every day, is absolutely absurd to me. The need to…read moreconstantly come up with new things to eat is exhausting (especially while balancing work and life) so I've started to explore the realm of meal prep. Enter MealPrep Revolution. This Huntington Beach concept serves up pre-cooked and seasoned meats, veggies, and starches by the ounce. I visited for the first time this past weekend and stocked up on three meals as a tester. My picks were the chicken meatballs with teriyaki sauce, sweet mashed potatoes and zucchini, the ground turkey with super greens and brown rice, and the honey ginger chicken with super greens and diced potatoes. While I wouldn't expect your grandma's cooking, the meals have been great so far. Quick and easy, healthy options, while also keeping me well fed during a busy week. I'd love to see this concept bring in a juice brand in the future! Having pre-made green juice would be another helpful item to knock off my list before the week.

On Monday I had taken a bite of my chicken wrap, second bite I felt a weird texture in my mouth and I still swallowed it, I took another bite and I hit down on something hard I spit it out immediately realized it was a small piece of rock!! I was in shock as I could've easily swallowed it and probably could have chocked or break a tooth. I know I did consume some of it because that was the weird texture I tasted in the first two bites. I was shaking because I initially thought I swallowed a piece of medal. Their kitchen was close early due to the holiday and I sent them videos and text messages. Someone reached out to me and apologized and said that they will take necessary steps to ensure this never happens again. They issued me a refund and that was about it. I just couldn't believe I had to experience this, I hope this never happens to anyone. I will no longer be coming here.

On Sunday, July 5, at 10:55 a.m., I received a text explaining that an unexpected equipment malfunction late Saturday, July 4, had affected their production schedule. I was given the option to receive a credit toward the following week's order or a full refund. I replied that same day requesting a full refund. I followed up on Tuesday, July 7, and was told that refunds typically take three to five business days. By July 13, I still had not received the refund, so I reached out again but received no response. I followed up once more on July 14 and again received no response or refund. This is especially disappointing because I had been ordering meal-prep meals from them on and off for more than a year. I understand that unexpected problems happen, but a business should communicate with its customers and promptly issue refunds when promised.

My boyfriend and I went in thinking to ourselves, "we'll just try it for a few weeks", and we we've had our meals weekly from here for the past few months! We love it! We used to order from Freshly before and there really is no comparison. These meals taste home-cooked, while Freshly truly tasted like freezer meals. I also love the way I feel when I eat the food. The food feels fresh and wholesome in my body! I will say that the meals vary in size. We opted for the low carbohydrate 4 oz meal plan option so naturally, the meals are rather light. Some meals are a bit on the smaller side and I get hungry again in 90 minutes or so while some meals are larger and I am unable to eat it in one sitting. I do think some of the meals are lacking in salt/seasoning, but I just shake a little bit of "Everything but the Bagel Seasoning" from Trader Joe's and it does the job! The meals I enjoy most are the meals that include a sauce or meals with flavors that I know I enjoy. I do find that the meals that are simply a protein (ex: chicken) and a side of vegetables with no sauce are almost always dry. Overall, I highly recommend this service! There is such a variety in the foods week to week and day to day. The food is well cooked and tastes of quality.
