He was paid $100 deposit to book. 1 hour prior to the pick up time he notified us that the party bus' speaker system wasn't working and he was unable to fix it. He instead would be coming in a sprinter van but that we will have to sit on each others laps and squeeze. We asked if we can get some sort of a discount since we originally requested a full party bus and he replied nope. So then we asked if we can still use the bus without the speaker and he said nope that he is already on his way with the sprinter van. We said forget it since his van was not able to accommodate the size of our party SAFELY and comfortably. He offered numbers to some of his friends to see if we can book with them, and it would be our choice if we wanted to use them instead. However, this was done less than an hour prior to our departure time! We said just cancel. He said okay and that he will refund the $100 deposit. As of April 12th he said he will not give us our $100 refund and that he will only give us $50 (which we still haven't received either). We have reminded him every week since 3/21 (booked 2/27) for the refund and now he's denying us. We would not have an issue if he would have notified us sooner of any issues on his end and given the deposit refund but now it has come to this. Do not do business with them, this company is a scam! Fire Limousine and its representative, Carlos, turned what was supposed to be a once-in-a-lifetime Bachelorette celebration into a stressful, disappointing disaster. We initially booked a party bus for 16 guests for Friday, March 21st. The reservation was made with Carlos back on February 27th, with a $100 deposit. We specifically requested a party bus to ensure the comfort and safety of our group. Everything seemed fine--until three days before the event. On Tuesday, March 18th, Carlos informed us that the bus's speaker system was broken. He said he might fix it but also offered a Sprinter van as a backup. We never confirmed the van because it was a downgrade and did not meet our needs--again, we booked a party bus for a reason. Then comes the night of the event--Friday, March 21st. Carlos called us one hour before pick-up time to say the bus wasn't fixed and he was already on his way with the Sprinter van. He admitted the van wouldn't fit all 16 of us comfortably--we'd have to sit on laps and squeeze in, which is unsafe. When we asked for a discount, he flatly said "No." When we asked if we could still use the party bus without sound, again, "No." So we told him to cancel the reservation entirely. We were left scrambling less than 60 minutes before departure with no transportation for a significant celebration. Carlos said he would refund the $100 deposit--that was the only silver lining at the time. Fast forward to today, April 12th, and not only has he not returned the full refund, he's now refusing to send anything more than $50 (which we still haven't received either). We've followed up weekly since the cancellation, and we're now being stonewalled. This wasn't just a bad customer service experience--it felt like a bait-and-switch scam. Fire Limousine took our money, failed to deliver on what was promised, offered an unsafe alternative at the last minute, and refused to make it right. What should have been a joyful, stress-free celebration turned into a logistical nightmare. If you're planning a wedding, birthday, quinceañera, prom, or ANY important event--avoid Fire Limousine at all costs. Their lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic customer service is inexcusable. We didn't want to leave a negative review, but being ghosted and refused a refund has forced us to speak out. He could give back the deposit for a service that was never completed. Especially because he tried changing the entire service without our consent. We were promised a bus for our extra large bachelorette party and he tried picking us up in a sprinter van... All because the bus speaker wasn't working... well we need transportation more than we need a speaker (easy fix would be to let us bring our own speaker, but he refused). Not to mention the fact he didn't give us enough notice that the bus wouldn't be picking us up. It was an hour before our pick-up time when he sprung the news on us. Granted he had informed us of the potential change a few days prior, it was never actually confirmed until, like I said, one hour before we expected to be on board. The fact he didn't send back the deposit at this point, hinted at hope for the party bus to work out. A follow-up would have made a huge difference, (and not on our part) because we are the ones planning a million things for this once-in-a-lifetime occasion, while he is in the business of renting transportation. It's truly disappointing that we had this experience in the first place and it's still not over, as our deposit is being held ransom. This business is running like a scam. read more
