After we arrived, at first we were turned away because "we don't do that here". After explaining our phone conversation from the previous day, we were told to go home to get immunization records, after we drove across town and back we were refused service and told they "do not do pediatric services". Never bring your child here, as they cannot do basic pediatric care. Also, was greeted by a rodent in their ceiling on the way out the door (At least the rodent was friendly). We found that "First Health Convenient Care" was able to take care of us with no issues AND at fraction of the cost. They were also friendly, I recommend them for all your urgent care needs. Two thumbs down to Sandhills Urgent Care.

Today I finally switched my pcm after being unsatisfied with Primary and Immediate Care of the…read morePines for quite some time. I called on November 16th and November 22nd trying to speak to my provider about a referral that needed updating. I never received a phone call back either time. I was in need of an updated referral for a specialty appointment I have at Duke on the 30th. I made this appointment with Duke months ago under a referral that was active at the time. I called Primary and Immediate care back today, the 28th, to see what the status was and was told I needed to come in and see my provider to get an updated referral. Today is Tuesday, and my appointment is Thursday. If they had bothered to call me back either one of the two times I called previously, coming in would not have been an issue. So, I just paid out of pocket for the appointment I have scheduled on the 30th at Duke because they will not see me without the referral. If you value your provider seeing you as anything but a source of revenue, don't bother with this clinic. I personally liked the providers, but hated the way the clinic was ran.

The only other option was the ER, where the wait would have been hours. Not to mention all the airborne illness she's exposed to while waiting for care. This is completely unacceptable! This area could benefit from a stand alone ER center open 24 hours a day, which would help alleviate the cases over at First Health's ER and hopefully shorten wait times. I would have given this place zero stars if I could because we received zero service!

I left and went to the UNC right down the road, as soon as I walked through the door the lady came around the counter and took me right back without asking me any questions or requirements for anything because she could clearly see it was an EMERGENCY. Close the doors. Working in healthcare is about helping people, not sending them on their way when they couldn't even breathe.

I was later contacted by the provider who said she "made a mistake" and she said I owed $126.00 more. I told her that it was not appropriate to make an error and expect the client to cover her error? Not appropriate! We all make mistakes but the customer is not responsible to cover the error....To make matters worse, I then got a bill from Pinehurst Urgent Care (???) for $126.00 several weeks later. I've messaged through the website, called multiple times, no response! To bill a customer after they've paid in full for a quoted service is extortion.

Roberson and Ram are wonderful people as well as educated doctors. Their staff is so helpful (when I've had to take the twins in by myself, their staff has helped me to my car). 1of my twins were sick this Christmas Eve and Dr. Roberson put her cooking on hold to open the office just for us. A few days later I had to take the twins in again for a recheck of their throats and Dr. Ram saw them. A few days later he called me to see how the twins were doing. Not sure where you can find this level of service anymore. I'm originally from NJ and I can tell you our pediatrician's office there NEVER called to check on my twins. Both Drs. Roberson and Ram take their time with you to answer ALL of your questions and explain everything to you in terms you can understand. Their bedside manner and sincere care for their patients shines through every time I bring my twins in to see them. I can't thank them enough for their time and dedication to the practice of pediatrics. We're just lucky to have found them.
