I was SO pleased to be able to find exactly what I wanted here - an inexpensive brand of CBD that has almost no THC content - a pain management remedy that wouldn't get me high. The first place I tried had sold out of it and I was irritated by that, because when you're in pain, you have no time for messing around. I was so happy to find what I needed at Fire & Flower. They run a tight ship! Everyone, "even our own grandmother" is IDed at the door to ensure they comply with every regulation out there. I have no problem with this, even though I didn't have my ID on me and had to send my partner in to buy the goods for me instead. He described the inside as super clean and modern, all trendy and cool and exactly what you'd expect from a hip, new business in the cannabis trade. I mean, the days of seedy weed sales are over, in Canada, at least. I was quite happy with the product, which worked well but had its limitations (apparently because of the low THC content), allowing me to at least function in life while nursing my broken ribs. The first time I went there they I.D. Me twice, once at the door and then again at the cash register!!?? WTF!! And the worst part is that I'm old enough to to be their father. Big beard and lots of grey. I've been a couple of times now and the only reason is that HOBO isn't ready yet. I waited in line for them to tell me that there sold out and then the chick suggested something worse then I actually wanted. I even said online it had another kind that I would like, but I couldn't remember the name. So, I bought her suggestion, as I was leaving I check there table and found something way better then she suggested and when I tried to swap out what I bought. It was like pulling teeth. I live near here and I would rather drive an hour out to get my Cannabis, then go back there. And their not the friendliest either. When HOBO opens, you guys are in trouble. They gave me 72 hours to pick up my order, but once there, after 10 minutes waiting outside, a teenager, calling me "brother", announced to me that, unfortunately they do not have my order in stock and that my confirmation email "doesn't mean anything". No sorry, no recompense for my time, nothing. Thanks to the CEO, Trevor Fencott! A lack of professionalism and a lack of elementary respect to the customers. This place is fantastic, well organized and very hip in its design and atmosphere. You can get any product here. They are open long hours TIL 10 at night. I only come here for the liquid CBD/THC oil as per my medical condition to help relieve pain. They are way cheaper than the place in Smith Falls and you don't have to wait or pay for delivery. read more
