Great location, you are close to everything, but feel quite set apart in this quiet little village. The bed was comfy and the deluxe room was spacious - with a nice sized desk, fridge, and two couches. Also nice to have a big bathtub and a little brick patio out back to relax in after a long day.
There is also a good Indian restaurant, Pickled Evenings, just down the hill near the driveway entrance.
If you are coming during the cooler months, do bring a bathrobe and warm pajamas though as the suite can get quite chilly. There is a space heater, but still.
Also, I wish there had been an information sheet in the room - I arrived late and so was not able to jump on the wifi until someone could tell me the password the following day. I also did not realize until the end of my stay that the bed had an electric blanket underneath the sheet, which would have been great to know earlier.
Breakfast is ok, just some eggs, toast, and cereal - but the view from the dining room is quite lovely. read more
