Gayle and I spent 3 nights here as part of a group land tour of Tasmania. I'm not sure what other options were available, but this Best Western was a solid 3 Star Hotel experience and nicely located in the central business district of Launceston.
CONS
On the second morning, the breakfast room was overrun by at least 3 tour groups (including ours). Seating poured out into the adjacent bar area. There was 1 coffee machine line, toaster selections disappeared onto the plates of other guests, and saved items at tables were moved off by other guests. Quite a scrum.

So So shower pressure
Maybe a little street noise came in, but we also like fresh air.
PROS
Great Location
Friendly and Helpful Front Desk and Bar Staff.
Mornings 1 and 3 at Breakfast were much better, except for maybe the coffee line. Breakfast offerings were pretty good.
Our bed was clean and comfortable, there was plenty of room, adequate desk space was available, and the WiFi was pretty good. read more
