After a recommendation from Brownie's Yacht Diver, we headed to Finster Murphy's for lunch. When you walk in, it looks like a market, which it is. I am a vegan, so I wasn't hopeful. You see fresh seafood everywhere. We were greeted right away and asked if they had salad or anything non-seafood and she directed us to the side refrigerator case. Wow! They had grilled eggplant, red pepper, artichokes, marinated fava beans and more. I asked for some beans, 1 of each of the above. She asked if I wanted it on arugula with lettuce, tomato, onion and their house vinegarette. I said yes. My husband got the fish & chips. They have a variety of bottled drinks. They have a few tables inside & outside. I personally enjoy the market/restaurant atmosphere. When you can see their fresh veggies, herbs and more, I feel better about what I'm eating. When my plate came out I was shocked. It looked so pretty and the roasted veggies were chopped. I fully expected them to just be on a plate, not plated as an upscale restaurant would be. My husband's was as expected for fish & chips. He was pleasantly surprised the fish was breaded, not battered and not greasy at all. He ate 1/2 of his lunch before I thought to get a pic of his for a review. He bought tuna salad to go. This is fresh tuna! NO cans. She even asked if we wanted a bag of ice to keep it cool. We will definitely be back!

Faroe Island Atlantic salmon bellies. These would be great quick seared in a pan.

Outstanding fresh seafood market. Excellent quality yellowfin tuna, swordfish, and Faroe Island salmon. They have a nice selection of local seafood such as stone crab golden tile. The sanitation and service is excellent.

Fish and Chips special. Fast service. Beware: Kitchen closes about 1.5 hours before the store closes. We almost didn't eat - just squeaked in 7 minutes before they shut off cooking. Fresh!

Excellent fish. Excellent service experience! Great selection of fresh fish in the case to take home, or to have prepared for you. Also, there is a menu board with a variety of daily specials. I was highly impressed with the wild Faroe Island salmon which I had simply prepared grilled with grilled asparagus. I also had to sample the house made cole slaw (excellent). Excellent proactive service, and a super clean dining area inside as well as outside tables. Def will be a repeat guest. This place has me hooked... Day 2 for lunch. Halibut.

Everything is kept in neat order. Prices are pretty reasonable. And the fact that it also has some mini takeout/restaurants on site is a huge place. We could finish the shopping while waiting for the order to get ready. The place has a huge parking lot. The store is in progressive village. The traffic here is a lot lighter. They have a fish market where we can get fresh fish cleaned and cut in a way you like. The only minor complaint was that nobody was there to assist when I went. Maybe they were under staffed. This place is a must if you are Asian and need a big bag of rice. Count me as a regular customer here.

Now I don't have to traipse 30-40 minutes to Davie/Pembroke Pines/sunrise/Miramar just to get my Asian groceries. While this Asian supermarket is on the smallish side, it does pack a whole lot of goodies in. It caters more towards the Korean cuisine but they do have many Chinese & Southeast Asian products that I can pick up in a pinch. I will say their aisles are very narrow, only allowing for enough space for one way traffic flow. But their shelves are nearly organized compared to Mango Tree supermarket in Davie. Their produce section is small but they really pack a whole lot of unique produce that are hard to source elsewhere. For example they have Lion's mane mushrooms that I have not seen anywhere else. Their produce is fresh and reasonably priced. They have great meat section and all the kimchi and Korean banchan ingredients with some already prepped items available for purchase. The fresh fish section is very limited and nothing to write home about so will skip. But there are lots of frozen food items drinks, desserts, bags of rice and a few fast food restaurant stalls at the mouth of the entrance. Now when I'm cooking and find I need coconut milk or bean sprouts or crab sticks, I can run over to Kimchi mart in a pinch.

We opted to sit outside, since it is waterfront and even though it was a hot summer day, it was surprisingly manageable since our covered table made all the difference while we enjoyed the stunning waterfront views. We kicked things off with cocktails, and some wine and the Sun Kissed Cocktail was an excellent choice. Not only was it delicious and refreshing, but the presentation was absolutely stunning . a real rose embedded inside an ice cube. It was almost too beautiful to drink... almost. For appetizers, we went with the Tropical Ceviche and the Tuna Tacos, and both were incredible. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and I loved the mango touch that both dishes shared as it added the perfect tropical sweetness. Then came the entrees, we shared the Shoyu Glazed Sea Bass served with a rice pilaf, edamame purée, bok choy, and shiitake mushrooms, this fish was literally melt-in-your-mouth perfection. We also shared the Lobster Diavolo Pasta which was equally impressive and packed with generous chunks of lobster throughout the pasta, plus a whole small lobster to crack into. And then there were the side of Brussels Sprouts ... honestly, I never thought I'd be raving about a side dish, but here we are. Served shredded rather than whole, and tossed in the most incredible sauce, these were hands down some of the best Brussels sprouts I have ever had in my life. A must-order. Boatyard exceeded every expectation. The food, the atmosphere, the presentation .. all top tier. My cousin picked a winner, and we'll absolutely be back!

Our server (Daniel? Can't remember unfortunately) was great - he took photos of us when we asked, using our phone and our instax Polaroid which was so sweet, even pulled a sharpie out of his pocket so i could write the place and date on them. i love the way the staff work together as a team, one person might take your order, someone else delivers the food/checks in on you, etc. - we never had to wait long when we needed something. I loved the artichoke appetizer - unique way of serving them and the cream sauce was delicious. I ordered the full snapper it was so good, perfectly golden crispy on the outside and tender meat on the inside. I would have loved the option to pair it with something besides rice but the dill rice itself was really good. Mostly the sides are à la carte. The bolognese was also delicious, as was the swordfish. The bread is also sweet and delicious, used to be free, now it's $8 for a tiny loaf. Overpriced for some bread. The full snapper was $59, most entrees are 40-50. I guess you also pay for the setting and view. Good experience overall, this was my second time at boatyard and I'm sure I'll be back again.
