I must say out of all of my shitty mechanic experiences this by far was the worst! The level of…read moredisrespect and belittlement I received at Elite Truck is downright disgusting. I travel the USA in my 1984 Chevy RV and while visiting friends in Washington DC I noticed that my headlights stopped working. I also had been hearing some squeaking sounds coming from my brakes. So I decided to call Elite to get this fixed asap so I could make it to Florida to see my mom for Thanksgiving. Long story short they ended up charging me $800 just to clean my brake pads, replace a headlight dimmer switch, and top off my oil. TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE when they gave me the keys back to my rv, my engine was sputtering and idling very low. The exhaust pipe was bouncing up and down very erratically and it was emitting a very bad burnt oil smell. I've been traveling all throughout the US for over 3 years, my rv has driven up some of the steepest mountains in Colorado and never has it ever made those sounds or smelled like it did. Additionally I have done the majority of the repairs myself and know practically EVERYTHING about my rv. Besides minor oil leaks from old gaskets, my rv is in impeccable condition despite its age and my engine has very low mileage. I brought the sputtering to the attention of Dustin who was overseeing my repairs. He claimed that my rv was like that when I brought it in and that it was nothing that they had done. I explained to him that it was definitely not like that before or ever for that matter but was basically called a liar multiple times in my face, talked to like I didn't know what I was talking about, and told that all of a sudden my engine is bad. There's no surprise here that I'm a woman. This is how we get treated at mechanics. This place was no different. I too did not understand how this could have happened from a simple cleaning of brake pads and changing of a dimmer switch. My rv is very plug and play. However I did notice that they were improperly starting my vehicle. I made the assumption that they were professionals and knew how to start a carbureted vehicle. Big mistake! They were not giving it gas on start up and also decided it was smart to aggressively rev it up and drive it off after it had been sitting idle in the freezing cold weather for over 6 hours. I was literally laughed at when I suggested that those actions may have caused something to become out of whack. Additionally I requested not once but twice that only conventional oil be added to my motorhome. Dustin blatantly ignored my request and chose to mix synthetic 5w-30 with my conventional 10w-30. I know what my vehicle likes and it does not like synthetic. I'm pretty sure this was why my rv was smoking & smelling awful. After begging and pleading with them they agreed to take a look at the engine compartment and were able to tweak something and resolve the issue. Or so I thought. Once I left the property and turned the engine off and back on, the problem persisted. ON TOP OF THAT! I noticed a burnt rubber smell & smoke coming from my rear passenger side tires. OMFG! I'm beyond frustrated at this point. I was pretty sure that my tires were seized up and were not spinning while I was driving. I call Dustin and once again he starts gaslighting me telling me that this never happens, I'm not smelling burnt rubber I'm just smelling spilled oil that's being burned off, etc, etc. He even had the audacity to tell me to drive the vehicle back to the shop to get it looked at! Unbelievable! Clearly they had no concern for my safety because in all reality if I would have driven any further than I did, my tires would have caught on fire as well as my rv that has active propane lines. I COULD HAVE DIED! I told Dustin that he needs to send a technician to my address to get this sorted out ASAP. Dustin finally agreed to send someone and sure enough it was determined that my tires in fact were NOT spinning and adjustments had to be made. Do you think anyone even called me to apologize? No! Furthermore these people are absolute LIARS. They responded to my google review with nothing but lies talking about I didn't know the make or model of my vehicle, my muffler was hanging off with no attachments, I was treated with respect, my transmission fluid level was low, they claimed I told them that no one else wanted to work on it when in reality Elite was the first and only place I called (unfortunately). They said every hose was rotted causing major vacuum leaks. I have zero vacuum leaks...absolutely nothing they said was true. It was quite laughable to be honest. They also claimed that I had major oil leaks but it turned out to be a loose oil filter. If they were professionals they would have spotted that. But anyways it's so sad that there are businesses like this that exists. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Finding a great diesel mechanic and team is not easy. As the owner of a V8 6.6L turbo diesel, and…read morebeing new to the area, I needed work done and didn't know where to go. After much searching and many conversations with shops and people getting recommendations, I finally found Elite Truck & Bus last year. They installed a new exhaust system and DOC which I needed. Flawless. Reasonably priced. Great people and great service. So this year, I saved up and had the rest of the work done which involved the pitman arm and some other parts replaced which were affecting my steering. As expected, great work and now it runs excellent. Dustin, Sonya and Mike are professional but they actually care. They mostly deal with fleets and commercial trucks, tractors, etc. so I'm really thankful that they still work on my truck, which is a big part of memories of my dad.
