He got back to me quickly which was nice and we talked about the small job I needed done on our business window. When he sent me the proof there were multiple misspelled words which I thought was crazy, unprofessional, and frankly the opposite of what you hire a sign guy for. He never got back to me about the misspellings, so strange! We hired someone else in town.

I have never worked with a vendor who I would have to hunt down to get a response or to even take my payment. Upon multiple emails to Dave, he responds in the most unprofessional manner. I don't care if there is COVID or not. There is absolutely no excuse to be rude to paying customers. If the work this company provides is on par with the rest of the industry, then I see no reason to ever do business with Dave and Primetime Signs.

I searched through many options and one of the last was visiting Vital Signs on Rosedale Highway. The staff is very friendly. Kristen, at the front desk, put me in touch with Marcus. Marcus took my artwork and found a sign that would work for us and that we could afford. Service was fast. It took less than two weeks to get our sign. Our building is being painted now, and the signs will go up after the paint job is finished. If you're looking for a local company to make it your sign, definitely give Vital Signs of Bakersfield a call.

As someone with decades of experience in quality engineering and business evaluation, I was disappointed by the lack of professionalism on the production floor and the delays in updates. The entire process dragged out for about three weeks, which was far longer than expected for such a simple task. While I appreciate that they did issue a refund, it was not a seamless resolution, and I hope they improve their customer communication going forward.

While I take responsibility for not asking for a quote up front, the experience was disappointing. The patch was a completely different material, visibly crooked, and when I pointed it out, there was no accountability -- just a charge. I had spoken to the owner and understand he was out of town at the time, and a girl was watching the shop, so this isn't meant to speak badly about him personally. But if he wants to maintain a good reputation, he may want to reconsider who's left in charge. Between the poor quality, lack of follow-up on a quote, and no ownership of the mistake, I can't recommend them to other businesses.
