The fabric was in great shape, just needed new foam for the seats and stuffing for the back and armrest of the furniture. He told us he would need $825. to order the foam and stuffing. He said he would pick up the furniture a week later to get started. We did hand him a check for that amount. He did not come whem he said to pick up the furniture and he did not call as to why he did not come. We notified him that we had decided to not have him do the work , after looking at reviews about his business. We requested our money back. He claimed he had to buy the foam and stuffing and then return the materials. We asked to see the receipt. He could not produce anything to show he had purchased any materials. We badgered him regularly, over several weeks to finally receive $420 back. We continue to attempt to get the rest of our money returned. DON'T GIVE HIM MONEY UP FRONT - OR HAVE HIM DO YOUR UPHOLSTERY WORK. So far he is refusing to return the rest of our money.

I would point the name, called them. Someone else said I can bring the old foam, and pressed wood to them, then they would solve it as though it was too glad to help. They are great, service; however, the point is a problem with communicating with deaf people. I knew that I had always been nervous that I was writing a horrible grammar with me. I recalled that elder woman as the owner responded, "it doesn't make a sense." and it made me feel bad if I would think she was acting on rude behavior, or she never meets other deaf in experience. Also, my boyfriend is legally blind. After the happened, he spoke to her, and she seemed not, she repeatedly talked to us, she didn't think that we are deaf. Actually, I don't think she totally understands, if she thought he is hearing the person. He felt that she wasted his time, and he said he doesn't want speak, because she never hears him, again. I admittedly that I shall not be back into their store. Sorry.

He did a nice job with the refinishing and upholstry, but made the back so it will not go in an upright position. He also removed the original iron seat back adjusters and put brand new. The chair is too uncomfortable to use anymore. He does beautiful work, but be very clear about what you want an expect. Keep a copy of any paperwork or fabric choices.

We had an antique vanity that was severely damaged by water and mold due to storage facility roof…read moredamage. Took it here for repair and Mr. Brown did an excellent job in restoring it. He replaced the veneer that was warped, rebuilt the drawers that were falling apart, and refinished the wood to match how it looked before the damage occurred. The only downside was that he gets so much business that it took awhile for our piece to be restored. We will use him again and highly recommend his restoration services.

Amazing work on several things both with the previous owner and now with the next generation.
