Recently, I had my taillights replaced (the whole system) and I was quoted $200 for a new pair. When I came to pay, they denied ever saying $200 over the phone, and told me that it was $240 and that was it. I was prepared to pay $200 and labor, not $240 and labor. They did not call me to check if the new cost was okay, which in NYS is against auto law. You're supposed to ask customers if the adjustment is okay if it's over 10% of the originally quoted price. If I had bought used parts, it would have been HALF the cost. I only wanted new parts for their so called warranty. I wouldn't have spent $240 if I knew. It would literally be cheaper to have them take out the new parts and exchange them for the used parts, even including the extra labor. The first time I was here, I asked to get my taillights and brakes fixed. They ignored the taillights, fixed the brakes and managed to find several other "issues" to upsell me with. Honestly not a good business to go to if you don't know cars. They will screw you and your wallet. Recent update: The owner reached out to me and after a few emails, I did get a gift certificate to Trombley's (undoubtedly to try to keep me as a customer).
