Apparently this company is in all Palace Resorts. My experience occurred in the Moon Palace-Nizuc Resort. It appears that this company's issues are company wide, not just limited to one store. If I could give negative stars, I would. Unfortunately, that is not an option, but it should be. Beware of purchasing jewelry from this business. They have zero integrity. My experience.... I bought jewelry three days ago. No issues. They were having a 50% off sale. So, I have to use my resort credits, and they have a sign that states that resort credits can be used at their store. Great, right? Well, the 50% sale is still going on, but, if you use your resort credits, they charge you full price, and claim that the 50% of that they will give you is the 50% of the FULL price. I returned EVERYTHING I purchased from them. I wouldn't buy a roll of toilet paper from this company. They are a BAD joke.... And have zero integrity. I would recommend buying from ANY OTHER company rather than this dishonest company. Palace Resorts needs to rethink in reference to the businesses it has on its premises. This company gives them a black mark.. read more

Was there for vacation. Wanted to get my wife a ring. They assured it was top quality. So I got the ring and with in 2 days it started fading away. They refused to refund. The lady cleaned it and said there you go. In short: don't shop at Fini location And 2. Don't buy jewelry while on vacations, unless it's from a real jewelry store. read more

Loved the service here at this jewelry store, the patience, the kindness, and the knowledge! I was able to get a pair of earrings, ring and necklace for a very reasonable price. First time here and my girlfriend and I have had a great experience! It is located near the front lobby of the Platinum Yucatan Princess and has a lot of different types and styles of jewelry for the ladies and sunglasses for either men or women. Alejandro was the gentleman who helped us and he was both extremely helpful and patient. My girlfriend looked through the entire store and tried almost every necklace and set of earrings on. I was originally stressed that we were taking too long, but Alejandro made us feel very welcomed and did not try to rush us. The jewelry is on the high end, but it is fine jewelry and really nice. When you check-in to the resort you get a free 50% off coupon for them. I don't normally buy fine jewelry with or for my girlfriend, but this was a very nice place to do it. I shopped at the fini on the secrets resort on playa mujeres. 2 words.. rip off! The prong on my ring broke 2 weeks after being at home. Brought it it my local jeweler who showed me that the would all break as the stone did not fit the setting. She also hoped I didn't spend a lot of money because the stone was a fake. read more

my credit card was charged twice, the cashier told me it did not go through and showed me a spanish receipt. we tried again in pesos and he told me it worked. i was charged both times and $150 more for the second time. do not shop here. read more

Absolutely horrible. Jewelry was nice however after I got home from the vacation stones began falling out of the ring. The ring is only maybe 2 months old and I have worn it at most 3 times. And for spending a few hundred on this ring, I would have expected a better product. I will not recommend Fini Jewelry. read more

Two words - RIP OFF! I thought buying at the Grad Palladium Colonial Resort would be a good move I thought this company would be reputable being under the same roof and being a tenant of the resort. BIG MISTAKE, I bought my girlfriend a beautiful looking ring which we were told by the manager of Fini that it was 925 silver, we were told it was best to buy here because a lot of venders in Playa del Carmen were out to rip you off with bogus goods, Blah,Blah,Blah. It was all bullshit, my girlfriend wore the ring for three days, after which she noticed a slight discoloration, after looking closer it was obvious this ring wasn't silver at all, the metal beneath a silver plating appeared to be copper, I don't know at this point but I'm guessing the stone is crap as well. Since we have been back I've tried to get in touch with the store to no avail. I've called every number I can find and cant even get a working line. I have emailed both the Fini company and the resort and still have heard nothing. If Some how this gets straightened out I will retract these comments but I'm not holding my breath. A disappointing end to an otherwise great holiday. Fini wise up or lose business, and Grand Palladium do you really want your guests feeling burned by one of your tenants? We will be looking for other resorts from here on. I will give my hard earned money to someone else. read more

I just shopped at the store at Platinum Yucatan Princess resort not two weeks ago. Bought myself a beautiful pear shaped ring with an emerald stone, my birth stone. Today was the first day I dared wear the ring. I put it on my finger looked at it and discovered that one of the tiny stones surrounding the emerald is missing. I couldn't believe I didn't notice this when I purchased. There was another there that I looked at but when I took a close look at it, it was missing two small stones. Very disappointed. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR $$$ AT THIS STORE. I fell in love and purchased a ring at Fini Dream Jewelry in a lobby of the Grand Palladium Resort. I purchased it on Tuesday. Wore it to dinner on Wednesday and again Friday when we were leaving. At lunch, I was playfully showing it off to my husband and noticed that it was missing crystals in 3 different places. Fortunately, we had time before our bus came to pick us up for the airport. We were told that they didn't have anymore of that particular ring to exchange it for and to go to the other store on the property to see if there was anything there. We did and their selection was much smaller and of the two employees, neither was very interested in working with a return/exchange customer. Back to the original store we went. Naturally, the manager was out and the sales people couldn't do a return/exchange. Then the assistant manager showed up and pointed out that it said no refunds on the receipt. Remember that they didn't have the same ring so exchanging it wasn't an option either. After about an hour of this, the "manager" did come into the store. There was no working with him. He was arrogant and rude! He explained to us that the ring was man-made not machine made so there is always the chance that crystals would come loose.....We were so mad. He yelled at us, asked if we couldn't understand English (that's our native language) and called security where he proceeded to tell his story in Spanish. The security guard did not speak English! After almost 2 hours, we did get our $$$ back. The purchasing experience was fabulous but the true test of great customer service is when there's a problem. My best friend from high school and I stayed or shall I say were totally spoiled staying at the Platinum Yucatan Princess last week. We had a ball, the hotel is First Class!! While there, I shopped at Fini and made a couple of purchases. On the last nite of our stay, I purchased a Swarovski crystal bracelet and ring that I had been eyeing all week. I was so excited. They did allow me to negotiate with them so I didn't feel too bad with my purchase. I wore them that nite at dinner. Gorgeous. Packed them in their individual bags that were given to me at time of purchase and secured in a pocket in my suitcase. On Mother's Day I decided to wear them and noticed a crystal missing out of the center of the bracelet. I was so upset and disappointed. Even though I didn't pay the asking price, I still expected the item to be perfect. Had this happened while I was there I would have asked for a replacement or a refund.
