The twist here is- at the back of the shop a young man (25 years) just recently opened a small cocktail stand. He is truly a joy to chat with, he is loving making his dream come true and experimenting in his own take mixology blending some unique flavors on his own. Definitely give him a try! In fact, I even had to go back to grab a couple items I saw that I couldn't come home without! ++ They have the BEST ceramics and pottery that I saw on my entire trip. It was beautiful and so incredibly detailed! ++ The staff was very friendly. I spoke with the owner about his merchandise and he was so kind! ++ There's ALL sorts of shirts, shot glasses, ceramics, sombreros, etc... You name it and they have it! ++ Prices are pretty reasonable for the quality of product you get. Plus, if you have cash, you can negotiate a bit. I would highly recommend checking out Artesanias "Solymar" for your souvenir needs. If I find myself back in the area, I will def be back!

Over the years, the stores have closed, and replaced by multiple outlets of sunglass shops, t shirt stores, and others selling the same stuff. Now, only Sin Pecado remains. We all went to 5th Ave in Playa Del Carmen and that's when I found this shop. Exactly the things I wanted only better. The shirts all had a little difference to them. The stitching had small details that set them apart. The quality was even better and at a quarter of the price. The walk was not so bad, maybe 10 minutes from the Plaza. You see government building and hotels. There are very few tourists on this street. We ended up seeing Chedraui on our way to Mega and stopped after. I found the prices to be better here. The selection is about the same. We were souvenir shopping. They had a wide selection of souvenirs but I found the prices to be about the same as at the touristy Plaza Longosto. Nonetheless, I came to get treats for the ship crew and found what I was looking for.
