The service requested was Canadian citizenship photos and ours came out perfectly. The area is not in a great part of Downtown (I'm serious) so park your car as close as you can to the front door. I also wouldn't be bringing anyone extra who doesn't need to be there unless they are going to be inside the building as well. No one, humans and animals alike, should be sitting in their cars out there just hanging out. The value is great. Not expensive. You do have to set appointments because they keep the front door locked for safety (you'll understand). Be on time, if not early, because they are good about texting if they can see you earlier.

The appointment was on a Saturday, so they are awesome about being available on the weekend. The gentleman who took my fingerprints was very helpful and informative. Very easy to work with and explained anything I didn't understand. He was very professional and just very nice. Because I had to FedEx my prints and get them back as soon as possible, he let me drop them off at a FedEx facility, so they would go out on Saturday instead of having to wait until Monday to be picked up at their facility. I highly recommend PDX fingerprinting for all the things that they can do to help you move along your pre-employment background checks.

My only gripes were that she was a little unsure about the paperwork I brought in for her to fill out. Also, the paperwork required, as is common with fingerprinting services, that the envelope provided be tamper-proof. All she did was put my fingerprints in a manilla envelope and signed over the seal. I could easily just open the envelope up and seal it right back up again with some glue. That makes me a little nervous, but she seems to be experienced so I'll take her word for it and keep my fingers crossed. I also don't love that she's cash or check only, but it wasn't a deal breaker for me. I would definitely recommend ABC Mobile Fingerprinting.

There were so many addresses they listed and I just chose Downtown maybe so I could have an excuse to meet friends for Happy Hour later. I spent several minutes hunting for parking. I was so annoyed at myself for picking this location. Why? Next to PSU, hardly any street parking avail., students abound, so had to be extra vigilant with watching for pedestrians. I had to laugh. It'd be much smoother if I took public transpo. down. When I entered it was tight of people just standing there. I guess this is the line? It seemed like it might be agony. Bad thing, I had an appointment, so I couldn't bail. I was just patient and stood among the others. It was not as bad as it seemed, they helped me pretty quickly. First asked me to wash my hands - so stepped in to the washroom for a minute. The clerk was nice, we chatted and he was very kind, quick, and hospitable. Asked me what I was up to. Great service.
