Over a month passed with only two service attempts despite me repeatedly providing detailed information about the defendant's work schedule and location. The workplace was only a few blocks from their office and the defendant was not actively hiding from service. Communication eventually shifted away from actually completing service and toward asking me to remove my negative reviews before they would proceed with alternative service paperwork. My request for alternative service was later denied by the judge because additional supporting information was needed, which caused even more delay. I understand service can sometimes be difficult, but in my case it felt like there was very little urgency or effort despite being paid for the service. I ultimately had to pursue other options myself to move the case forward.

Maybe they walked to the mailbox??? The final straw was this letter. There is no more money in the estate. Fitzwater received over $20,000 for the guardianship and simple probate. They were paid from the estate. The conversation with Jonathon today involved him telling my husband that Oregon Law states that legal fees were to be paid before other creditors. My husband was NEVER informed of this law and paid outstanding medical bills with the little amount that was left in the estate. Jonathon also stated that "he talked with the partners about waiving the unpaid invoice and they declined". Unreal, the firm got over 20K for the "work" in the case. Do not hire them unless you have unlimited funds.
