Wow wow wow!! Great food…read more Flawless service We went for the six course tasting menu with paired wine. We had champagne to start Three canapés The menu was Foie gras with apple sorbet That sorbet was incredible!! Red mullet bouillabaisse Cos with truffle, cauliflower and roasted yeast Pyrenees lamb with wild garlic, morels, artichoke and white asparagus which also came with lamb shoulder in a dill sauce Clementine and milk tart Chocolate praline dessert with a white coffee ice-cream We finished with coffee and petit fours. All told it took over 3 hours. Lovely feel to the place. A bit adventurous and definitely a place to go for a special occasion.

The host and waiters are top tier and extremely knowledgeable. Something we wish we knew before going is that it is a pre fixe menu. We went for the 6 course with 6 wine paring. Everything was exquisitely prepared and had very unique taste. Until we got to the pigeon... which was definitely not our favorite. :x The desserts were some of the best we've ever had. It was definitely a dining "experience". Not a place to go to have a few pints with your pals and get a hearty steak. But if you're an adventurous eater and willing to spend around $500 for a 2 person dinner, then it's worth checking out. Also I think it is worth mentioning again, the staff were amazing.

I tried several dishes here…read more The service was good, the manager was excellent and working hard making sure everyone was happy, it was a busy place. The atmosphere was really nice too. The food was really good too, we tried the following: Tuna Tartar (~€13), my favorite appetizer here by far, refreshing and the flavors are balanced and great My friend got the cumin ribs (€36), fall off the bone, my friend loved it Friend rice cakes (~€8), I liked it, but my friend didn't like the sauce, it was too sweet for them Miso Salmon (~€15), super good, nice and refreshing Tuna Boa (€18), it was crispy, and all but it wasn't for me, like I didn't like it at all, the manager was great and got me a replacement that I preferred instead. It was refreshing to get American quality customer service here in Dublin. Truffle Fries with Parmesan cheese (~€6), it was good Sticky Toffee Pudding with Ginger Ice Cream and Miso Salted Caramel sauce (~€12), super good All in all will definitely go back, great food and night out.

Fun Japanese/American fusion place…read more Their on the stone option let you cook your own steak/tuna at the table. Quite fun to do it as a group. Desserts are just ok, nothing with wow factors. The ginger cake is a bit savory than expected, paired well with the vanilla ice cream. Service was good and staffs are attentive.

My partner and I visited the Old Music Shop Restaurant for an Afternoon Tea during our trip to…read moreDublin to celebrate our anniversary. I emailed ahead to let them know we'd like to sit outside in the courtyard and that we were celebrating and they were very kind and set they'd reserve an indoor and outdoor table and we could choose which one to sit at when the day came. Fortunately for us, the weather was absolutely beautiful that day and so we were able to sit outside. They had set up a beautiful table for us with a happy anniversary banner and a happy anniversary balloon. It really made the moment very special for us. The staff were so kind to us the entire time. The outdoor space was so serene, and because we came early for afternoon tea - we had the entire space to ourselves which was perfect. The afternoon tea was delicious, the sandwiches were great, the pastries were great, and the desserts were great. My favorites from the menu were the cream cheese and dill pastries, the fancy ham and cheese finger sandwiches, and the eclairs. We also ordered two little Prosecco bottles to celebrate which were tasty. Everything was very reasonably priced as well, I highly recommend Old Music Shop for an afternoon tea!

I enjoyed a pot of Earl Grey with my tasty bites that included tuna, egg salad and ham sandwiches. The scones were served warm with cream and raspberry jam, I savored every bite. What made the tea so special is the service, Triana was so friendly and helpful that it made my visit all that more memorable. By the end of visit, I was waddling out the door with a promise to be back again and a big smile on my face from the food, hospitality and pots of tea. If you're in Dublin, waddle on over and give this place a go, you'll be glad you gave it a go!
