We got married here, unfortunately the venue and our experience didn't live up to our expectations. Thankfully our guests didn't seem to notice, and overall we had a beautiful day. Fingask doesn't cater well to overseas couples, they only accept payments via bank wire, which would be fine, but they furnished us with the wrong banking information or insufficient banking information several times. This cost us hundreds in wasted transaction fees, return fees and getting hit every time by the exchange rate. They can't or don't confirm if funds are in their bank account until weeks or months later, despite requests... it was just a huge mess. That aside, regarding the day itself, the master of ceremonies was nowhere to be found, which caused my mother a lot of undue stress and left my sister scrambling around looking for things. The tables that were arranged in the reception room for us had an insufficient number of place settings for our guests, and the chairs did not line up with said place settings (so a lot of lifting and shifting for us the day before). The wine glasses, although washed (no doubt in a high heat machine) still had stains and remnants of lipstick, which caused again, my sister and mother to spend a lot of time doing things they shouldn't have had to be doing. I'm pretty disappointed. I was thinking that 10 years from now, I'd love to come back for our anniversary, but I just can't put myself through that banking and miscommunication nightmare again. Perhaps by then they will accept PayPal (which FYI is free to sign up for, and can accept funds from anywhere in the world. No I am not a paid spokesperson for PayPal! But all the other wedding vendors accepted it and there was no issue.) All the people who work there are very nice and friendly, so it pains me to write this review. I SO wanted to have a good experience here. read more
