After a couple minutes of struggle, the wait staff printed a copy of the menu in English for us. It ended up just being a road map, because we chose the 6 course chef's menu, and we were so glad we did. From the miso/jamon shooter as an appetitive, through starters like cuttlefish salad and marinated mackerel, ending in incredible main courses like a sou vide cod on cauliflower purée or the pork shoulder.... Each course was better than the last. Only two negatives... The dessert was a bit of a miss. A lemon meringue, the custard was to tart, and the almond cookie crust too salty. Also, the pace of dining was a bit rushed, and not the leisurely experience we've come to love about Spain. But those both were small complaints next to the wonderful dinner and incredible service. I had never had that dish before, but I thought it would be similar to a clay pot based on the pictures. The pork was nice and crisp with tender texture and flavorful profile...the rice was kind of wet...it had a touch of vinegar in it, which was not to my liking, since I am not a vinegar-lover....still, I found it not bad and I finished the dish. The two ladies working here were just ok in terms of customer service, they seemed more focused on charging me for my meal right after I finished than to see if I had enjoyed my experience.

Set menu: Let's start with the chicken skewers with peanut sauce. Tasted like a jar of Jiffy poured over chunks of boiled meat. Gyoza pork dumplings that had been microwaved so the edges were hard. Served with a side of American mustard sauce. French ribs that were tasteless, hard and microwaved to reheat them. Soggy breaded chicken in sweet sour sauce-this had been sitting around for a while and arrived luke warm. Obviously made a while ago and reheated. 3 choice fried rice-tasteless. Old food that had been reheated. I've rarely given out such a bad review, and perhaps this is not normal. But on the day I went, it was shamefully bad.

I ordered some empanadillas de carne (beef dumplings) to go. The menu is in Spanish and Chinese. My Spanish is limited and I don't speak any Chinese but the owners and staff were very friendly and I was able to order the dumplings togo. And the dumplings! They were delicious!! My husband and I loved them and will return to try their other dishes. While I was waiting for the dumplings, I heard what I thought was someone singing karaoke in Chinese. When I asked, they said they have a karaoke room that they offer to their customers for free.
