The airport is home to some former commercial aircraft that are in various states of disrepair. The airport property is completely closed and fenced off. Because it's a live airport, trespassing is going to get you in trouble with the FBI so absolutely do not cross the fence line! That said, there are a few aircraft that you can still see and photograph from groundside. Especially if you have a decent zoom capability on your camera. My Google Pixel 4 did a more than decent job as you can see here. If you've got better, then it's going to look good for you. It's interesting and sad and a little disheartening to see these aircraft here, rusting and falling apart. Worth a stop if you're in the vicinity. Only on this flight because we lost a whole day traveling here and started at one instate airport, had to drive to another and then got displaced overnight at a third. Took hours to get the hotel room we were promised. Now getting home six hours later than before on much worse flights. I will now drive 12-16 hours in any direction before using American - they go out of their way to make you feel inhuman.
