Beverage Selection includes Beer, White Claw, Sodas, water, and I think I remember some Capri Suns (so they must do kids as well) I went in on a weekday at the lunch hour and didn't have any issues getting right in. Checkin was straightforward and Laurie P took me right back. Got the Pro Haircut which includes a shampoo and wash after you get the trim. Their Champ Haircut includes a hot towel treatment. Laurie even took care of my bushy eyebrows and stragglers around my ears. Laurie also mentioned that some stylists will do "straight edge like" neck trims. They will use a foil shaver (like a Norelco) or a nape razor (which is similar to a straight edge razor) - if your into that. I only hesitate to write this review for personal reasons because I want to be able to get in and out in 30 minutes and not have to wait all day like some other shops. :-) So I guess I might have to download their app for when they eventually do get busy.

Being 25 miles into the drive, I told her that I would do my best to be there by 2:10pm. This upset me as I just drove 25 miles and called to notify of the delay. I wanted to cancel right then but really needed my haircut. I did my best and arrived in the parking lot at 2:12pm and immediately got a call from Hailey that my appointment was cancelled. This upset me as I told her I was in the parking lot. She couldn't care less. For me, being a returning customer who has waited long after my appointment time, on the barbers to be available, this was very disappointing. Hailey lacked courtesy and proper customer service. Was there no way to accommodate me? So I got to drive another 35 miles home. I drove 70 miles and didn't get a haircut and was shown no grace. I let Haily know that I wouldn't be back to visit her location. So I am writing you to let you know that I will never visit any Gambuzza's locations ever again. That she caused you to lose a returning customer. And that your policy should have some sort of grace period. Before starting, the stylist and I spent about 5-10 minutes discussing exactly what I wanted, as well as the texture of my hair. My hair is naturally very curly and frizzy, and I explained that I wanted long layers and face-framing pieces while keeping the majority of my length. I specifically told her that I don't typically style my hair, so I needed the layers to remain long enough for me to wear my hair naturally and for the overall length to stay past my shoulders. She seemed to completely understand what I was asking for and agreed with me. Once she started cutting, I noticed that she was taking significantly more length off than I had expected. I tried to stay calm throughout the appointment, but I did express my concern and said, "Wow, it's really short." At that point, I was honestly in shock. She tried to reassure me by saying that maybe I just wasn't used to seeing myself with shorter hair, but I knew that wasn't what I had asked for. We had specifically discussed keeping my length and doing long layers, yet I left with my hair much shorter than I wanted and with noticeably choppier layers. I did reach out to a manager afterward, and I want to acknowledge that they were very professional and completely refunded me for the service, which I appreciated. I'm writing this review because I was told the situation was essentially due to miscommunication and that I should have brought in a reference photo. While I understand that photos can certainly be helpful, I personally don't feel that a reference photo should be necessary when you spend 5-10 minutes clearly communicating with a professional stylist about the length and type of haircut you want. The stylist, Tatiana, was very kind, and this review is not meant to attack her personally. I'm simply very confused about how a conversation about keeping my length, having long layers, and wearing my hair naturally resulted in my hair being cut significantly shorter with choppier layers. My biggest takeaway from this experience is that if you are getting even a simple trim or long layers, bring a reference photo--even if you feel like you've clearly explained what you want. I would hate for someone else to have the same experience I did. I shared photos of what my hair looked like before and what it looks like now.
