This clothing boutique is definitely filled to the brim with gorgeous and cute everyday to more business/formal wear kind of clothing in addition to wigs and other hair accessories. 75% of the store is clothing though with the back 25% past the fitting rooms reserved for hair goodies. There were so many wonderful pieces that I tried on here. Unfortunately, their sizing only goes up to XL and sometimes only L and I'm right at the edge of that, so some pieces fit, while many I wanted to try on I needed just another size up. Customer service was so lovely. The woman who was running the shop was shuttling clothes that I had pulled off the rack into my fitting room throughout my shop and was just so friendly and exuberant, while also giving me the space to shop and peruse at my own pace. I ended up getting a staple kind of black/gray denim button up shirt that will be great for the fall and spring weather and for layering throughout the colder months! I also got two sweaters that had a fun corgi print on them to gift to my corgi-loving friends! The pricing was reasonable here compared to what I normally associate with boutiques as well (these sweaters/denim jackets all averaged in the $40-50 range), so I really appreciated that. The jewelry is a lot of fun, and they also carry OPI nail polish. I was able to buy Golden Girls earrings...how awesome is that? Staff is super friendly. They also have wigs and extension available. I go to Charity, who has a chair in the back of the store. She does an awesome job on hair, and shes a delight to talk to. Whenever I go get my hair done I come a little early so I can shop at LBL. :)

I felt as though I was the only bride in the boutique. She never rushed us or pressured us into making a decision. You could truly tell she wanted to make sure I LOVED the dress. Short Version: This is a pickier version of a thrift store…read more If you enjoy secondhand items and are okay with higher prices to ensure that you're choosing from good-quality items (instead of sorting through all of the junk), the Main Street Exchange is going to be perfect for you. However, the prices are definitely higher than standard thrift store prices. Long Version: This is like the higher-scale version of a thrift store. While I love shopping at thrift stores and picking up items for less than a dollar, it really does require some digging to find things that are in good shape and are something that I really want to purchase. I'm glad that most thrift stores carry the lower-quality items because everybody has their own budget and price range, but I'm looking for second-hand things that don't look so...secondhand. That's where The Main Street Exchange comes in. They are like a high-end thrift store. All of the pieces are sorted through when they accept them, and it looks like they're choosey about what items come into the shop. The clothing all appeared to be in good condition, and the furniture, DVDs, and books all seemed like they were still in "Good" to "Very Good" condition. While typical thrift stores may have dusty, dirty, or broken items, everything seemed to be well-cleaned and in very good shape here. However, along with that comes higher prices. You'll be more likely to find something you actually want to buy (versus a thrift store), but you might have to pay a bit more for the convenience. Nothing seemed insanely unreasonably priced, though, but I'll admit I didn't pay much attention to the clothing. This store sells a good range of things. They have a lot of clothing, and that makes up the bulk of their items, but they also have a book section with adult and children's books. They also have dinnerware and other knick knacks. Downstairs, you'll find some furniture and children's toys. Some of the furniture is on the affordable side ($10 for end tables and whatnot) while the larger pieces definitely cost more ($120-ish for a large wood dresser). I came out with 5 books in really good condition for slightly over $4. Most of the books were priced at 99 cents or 1.99. DVDs were priced around $1.99 to $2.99. Staff was pretty friendly. They were cleaning and putting away things when I came, but when I asked where to check out, one of the employees was happy to point me to where. She even mentioned their current promotion in case I wanted to go get another book for just a penny. I passed, but it was nice of her to let me know that. As a sidenote, there does seem to be a Christian, religious theme going on in this store. There's even a Christian quote printed on the receipt I received. It's nothing that's going to annoy a non-religious person, but there are religious items and books for sale alongside the regular items.

After some daunting health diagnoses (ovarian cancer, diabetes, obesity, COPD) I found myself in…read moreneed of reclaiming my health and physical fitness levels. Determined, I've set out on a daily walking routine only to be set back by some potentially dangerous foot issues (diabetic ulcerations due to poorly fitting shoes) ... Realizing I was not going to find what I needed in my immediate (rural) area, I set out to find specialty shoe stores. I was happy to learn of The Runner's Loft here on Yelp, and the reviews were extremely helpful. (***wishing more people would take the time to write reviews for this business...they deserve it***) As it had been a while since the last review was submitted, I phoned before hitting the road (this was going to be about 200 miles, round trip, for me) and was assisted by the owner, Scott. I expressed to him my needs and health concerns, and he assured me that he and his staff would be more than happy to assist, including being able to complete a walking assessment on a treadmill, which is filmed and reviewed by staff so they can look for potential issues with how you perform (walking/running) in your current footwear. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Stephanie who was attentive to my needs, empathetic to my health concerns, and set right to work getting me on the treadmill for my assessment. Once video footage of my treadmill walk was completed, Stephanie reviewed the footage with another staff member, Jack, and they also inspected the soles of the shoes I had been using for my daily walks, noticing that I do, indeed, rotate my feet in, which had worn down the inside of the heel of the sole. It was also determined that I needed more toe box space to alleviate the pressure on my toes that had contributed to the ulcer, necessitating my changing from a woman's shoe to a man's shoe, as they tend to have more space in the toe box. Stephanie and Jack had me perform a few more walking exercises for them; barefoot, and with some init selections of shoes. Observations we're made, and more shoes retrieved from the basement to try.... and, after several test runs, the perfect pair was decided upon! Not once did Stephanie or Jack balk at the prospect of getting yet another pair from the basement storehouse... not once did they become discouraged as I found fault with one shoe fit after another. Not once did I feel any judgement. They were both kind, empathetic to my needs, and professional. Also, I never felt pressured to buy this expensive shoe over that expensive shoe, etc. No pressure sales; I like that! I ended up with a well-fitting shoe, mid-price range, a store discount applied (without asking) and free shipping to my home address once my order arrives in store. ***that's my only negative...I loved the shoes SO much, I wanted to wear them out of the store! But, they were a special order to be placed just for me, so I get it All in all, a wonderful experience. I will be a repeat customer, and will be bringing my husband in for his walking analysis and a new pair of shoes soon! Keep up the great work, team!
