My first issue was that I selected "contactless…read morepickup" in the app, thinking that I could bypass having to deal with any employees, but no. Secondly, the app tells you where the truck you've been assigned is located and that was incorrect. There are cars parked everywhere so you're really just out there walking around looking lost. Once I finally found the truck, it was blocked in by another vehicle. The person on duty could not find the keys to move it, so I had to go in the app and be assigned a different truck. There were 2-3 other people there who also needed assistance, so my "contactless" pickup ended up taking WELL over an hour. The only good part about this experience is that my quoted price and final price were relatively similar, which is something I was definitely a bit nervous about.

It was difficult to navigate to the store since the street was jammed with vehicles along the street, and when I finally arrived there were so many UHaul vehicles everywhere that I had a rough time parking it. I waited inside an empty store for a few minutes until an employee came out and told me to drive it into their (secure) back area myself, rather strange. He said they didn't review the vehicle turn-in condition with customers, and I found out why later: they charged me a cleaning fee for mud that was present when I picked up the vehicle in the first place. Absolutely unbelievable. I will look into UHaul alternatives next time I have to move. Overall: 1.5 stars ----- Pros: - Good selection of vehicles and trailers if you're picking up from here. Cons: - Difficult to navigate to and park near. - Having an empty store when a customer walks in is both unprofessional and unwise. - Expecting customers to thread the needle of navigating a huge truck into a small secure rear lot is asking for trouble. Bad policy. - Giving someone a dirty truck in the first place and then charging them to clean it later is unconscionable.

The guy that came out looked around and I told him what we were looking for, then he continued to walk the property. He came back to me and said $100 for first cut then $60-$65 there after, but no other estimate for the work. He asked about mulch, and I said yes, then he said his Boss would have to figure out the cost. A few hours after he had left I texted his Boss and said if he was going to text me my estimate his response was I will send it soon, I never heard back from him. This happened on a thursday or friday, come Saturday morning his company called me twice but didn't leave any message, and then all of a sudden someone is ringing our front doorbell, my husband went to the door because neither one of us were expecting anyone, it was a guy from Scott's landscaping asking if we needed our lawn cut, and my husband was livid, and said no and we never asked him to come back. We live on 6 acres in the middle of the woods, very private and out of the way, so when someone shows up unexpected it leaves a bad taste in your mouth about people. Let's just say I called up the Boss and told him to not call again and to lose my contact info. I was NOT impressed with the way this Company dealt with people, or their process.

I have had a 40ft dead maple tree in my back yard for several years. After many talks with my…read moreneighbor (who felt it would someday fall right through his roof), I finally decided to see who could remove it and how much it would cost, etc. Long story short ... I wanted to find a company who is relatively local (i.e., support my community). The first company I called, a very reputable one (who shall remain nameless), called me back and told me that due to just how dead the tree was, they would not take the job. Too much liability they said. I was surprised because I was thinking "Don't MOST tree removals involve trees that are pretty dead?". I asked this company what I should do now, and they said just to keep calling people until someone said yes. So, my next step was to go to Yelp. Thank goodness for Yelp! On 22 October, I get on Yelp and happened upon Hedy's review of All American - which was written just the day before! I called All American and Maggie answered the phone. She told me she believed All American can do the job and told me that Matt and Mike will come by my house to look at the tree within a day. Sure enough, Matt and Mike showed up in less than 24 hours. They figured out what needed to be done and gave me a reasonable quote on the spot. Two days later, Matt, Mike and two more guys showed up with a massive crane, a big truck and chainsaws. Like surgeons, the crew removed the tree piece by piece. What was impressive was not only the big machines, trucks and chainsaws, but also their attention to how to do the job safely and intelligently. Two days later, Tony came in to grind up the stump. I don't foresee having any tree issues in the near future (well ... I hope not). But if I did I'd just go straight to All American Lawn and Tree Service - a very experienced, competent, hard-working crew who also happen to provide great customer service (i.e., the little things like answering the phone, answering my nit-picky questions, etc.). Thanks again, Maggie, Matt, Mike and rest of the All-American crew! Marc

I had asked them to take down half of one tree (with 2 large trunks), but they advised to just trim several of the branches from one side to make sure we kept the tree alive, which made perfect sense. They were referred to me and were able to give me a fair price and got the work done in the same day. I had called several companies and All American was the clear choice. Mike and Matt are top notch and do whatever it takes to make the customer happy. They even came back to take down one more tree limb that I forgot to point out to them. They really saved me as I was in a time crunch as I needed to have DirecTV install a new dish.

2nd Tree Removal - follow-up in 2026…read more All my comments from my review almost 10 years ago, still apply and are relevant. I would encourage that your tree removal needs are reviewed with 3 to 4 competent contractors. Include G&V in that group. We had a very large oak on the side of our home. With fallen branches, the lack of leaves and a hollowed out squirrel home in its trunk it was time to take the tree down or it would come down on its own. I did my due diligence, and spoke with multiple tree contractors. Next, I scheduled an appointment with G&V. Mario came out to my home. He later explained that he personally reviews potential work, determines required equipment and personnel to ensure it's done right and he can stand behind a proposal. Within a few days of accepting the proposal, G&V, was at my home with a caravan of equipment & personnel. They started work on time, Mario was there, and they spent an hour setting up their equipment. Look at the photos. They arrived with a crane, a man-lift, a skid steer with a tree attachment, a heavy duty tree chipper and a truck to receive shredded debris. My neighbors came out of their homes and watched this crew work. Some were saying this was the most exciting thing to happen in our neighborhood for a while. I'll get to the point. G&V showed up on time, spent an hour setting up their equipment and then safely/ methodically took apart a large oak without any damage to my home, my neighbor's property or the bushes at the base of the Oak (I thought they would be destroyed). G&V has shown again that they have a well planned, efficient and professional operation.
