Our prior experience had left us with an unfinished job that didn't meet our expectations. We did not know if our expectations had been unrealistic. Guess what, they weren't!!! Extreme Exteriors came in and completely redid our 1550 sq ft patio for a very fair price, built us a deck and regraded our lawn and seeded. When we originally hired them it was to redo the patio which they discovered had an insufficient base by the other contractor. They quickly came in, pulled up the pavers and the base, redid the base, relaid the pavers in a beautiful pattern and then finished it. It's beautiful!!!! And they were done in two weeks with a deck added!! Because of how nice it looked, the speed of delivery and the professionalism of the owner and his team, we then asked that they quote redoing our lawn, doing a concrete pad for a swim spa and some additional finishing items. 4 weeks and our entire lawn and patio is complete and usable. We are just waiting for the grass to grow. We are now asking them for help with selecting plants and trees. We couldn't be happier and highly recommend them. They are trustworthy, hardworking and knowledgeable. I would joke to my husband about there being 5 guys here and each time I looked out the window they were each actively working!!! If I have other landscaping needs in the future, Extreme Exterior will be the first and only place I will go!!

From the first time we met them, we've been nothing but impressed. They are knowledgeable & are always so friendly with all of our questions. We have been working with this Company for 3 years now & with this year being the most difficult, they have kept us updated throughout (things were on back order due to Covid). We are always amazed at Bari's vision. We tell her an idea & what she comes up with always exceeds our expectations. We are so thankful & lucky that we decided to go with Extreme Exteriors. We have received many compliments on all of the projects that they have done for us.

From the…read morevery first conversation, he demonstrated professionalism, deep expertise, and a genuine commitment to bringing our space back to life. Every step of the process was handled with care. He provided clear communication, thoughtful recommendations, and a level of craftsmanship that's increasingly rare. He didn't just "fix" things; he restored them with precision and pride, making the final result even better than the original. The team was punctual, respectful of our home, and incredibly organized. They kept the project on schedule, maintained a clean work environment, and made sure we understood what was happening at each stage. We wouldn't hesitate to hire them again or recommend them to anyone looking for top‑tier restoration work. If you want quality, integrity, and beautiful results, this is the contractor you want.

The top part of the deck, made from teak, is still fine, but all the rails (aside from the main supports) and bottom of the stairs were pine, so many of those parts needed replacement due to wood rot. Additionally, the slats that framed around the porch weren't attached properly, so Marcus took them all off and reattached them correctly and securely. He also removed an electrical outlet that wasn't working and capped off the wiring. The baseboards were also replaced with PVC. It was a full-day project, and these guys worked hard. I can't say enough for their professionalism--from the quality work they did (plus explaining everything to me), and beginning and ending the day with cordial words. Such politeness is not a give in these days. The day began with a friendly greeting and ended in the evening with, "Have a nice night," not to mention polite interactions throughout the day. They also cleaned up perfectly, removing all the old wood. Even though they went beyond what we discussed, and Marcus did the extra work (wooden slats that weren't attached properly and a piece of wood behind the stairs that was replaced with PVC which we hadn't talked about initially) Marcus stuck to his original estimate. ***I would recommend these guys without reservation.*** I will also add that their pricing was very fair with an estimate given ahead of time. It was an stress-free day. Thanks Marcus and Devon.

So Ideal windows and doors did a state project on our house. The project included 62 windows, 12…read moredoors, siding, and some odds and ends. I work construction as well and told them if they needed anything or found anything to let me know. The first day we came into our house we were excited snd within minutes I started seeing issues. All the caulk around every window was cracking. It hadn't even been a month yet. The trim was crooked. They put our fascia over our drip edge so water was getting behind our fascia. Then when we brought these matters up to Rick we were told they were on a multi million dollar lead deal snd he'd get bsck to me. They had caulked our weep holes on our windows so water couldn't escape. For those who don't know what a weep hole is, it's a hole or holes to allow water to escape the window if water gets in. They caulked alot of them shut. Which can cause alot water damage. Then they left being gaps between roof and siding where water could get in again and wreak havoc. When I brought this to Rick's attention I was told I had needles in my attic and this wasn't HGTV home make over and I got free work. They got paid 223,000 dollars and they didn't even put a bid in on the job. We met 2 or 3 other contractors and we liked all of them. But the state wanted this guy to do the work and I have no clue why. They used different lumber on windows and doors. They didn't paint alot of the trim. And again when I brought this up he said use your expertise and fix it yourself. Then he's having lawyers call us and threatening us for giving honest reviews. Some of the trim pieces weren't even nailed, just held up by caulk ( which cracked and fell) look at pictures and you decide.

So nice and refreshing to deal with an honest and reliable contractor who does quality work!!…read more Ongoing issues over 2-3 years with my roof & attic after being scammed by a roofer whose lack of ventilation created a small mold problem, and then given the runaround from Home Depot and their fragmented sub-contractor network. Jim came in and told me what I needed, what I didn't need, and delivered in a timely manner. Great guy and he was accommodating to my more inflexible schedule. Work done: fire protective boxes over two can lights extending from upstairs bathroom to attic, replaced uninsulated duct work from both bathrooms, added chutes for air flow from soffets, and sprayed on insulation to bring us to R50...from R26 (and less than what Home Depot said we needed and wanted to charge us for. Work was done on morning of 12/9/16. Our 2nd story, where our bedrooms and a bathroom are, seemed like it was at least 5-7 degrees warmer by that night. The difference continues to be felt this morning when we woke up to a 20 degree day. So glad our ordeal is over and we have the peace of mind knowing a true professional helped get us over the finish line. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Their work caused hot spots and interior roof frost which melted in spring causing rot on the plywood and a dangerous situation. We found Wholesale Insulation Distributors/Installers on the computer looking for a company with "history". Jim came quickly to our home to view our disasterous situation in the attic. He quickly diagnosed all the improperly installed areas and even areas with no insulation. We were quoted a very fair price and knowing our rather desperate attic condition, Jim rearranged his schedule to accommodate us. Upon completion of the work, Jim actually lowered the price because he used less product in less time than originally planned. Jim came back to check his work due to some difficult spots that needed watching. He decided to add more insulation at no charge to us. He corrected all the problems created by the other contractors. We highly recommend Wholesale Insulation Distributors/Installers (Jim). He is reliable, professional and has proven that there are still trustworthy people that will do the job right.

We had Terry remodel our 1940s bathroom - electrical, plumbing, tile, tub, painting, toilet, sink,…read morelighting, cabinet, exhaust fan, grab bars, counter, plaster repair - the works! It's now been about 4 months since he finished the work and each day I look at our new bathroom and think "wow!' He did a great job! He was patient and always responsive to any questions or issues, and cleaned up each day. Great workmanship too. He started out by measuring and answering any questions we had, offering ideas here and there but letting us make our own decisions. Unlike some other contractors, he did not give fancy 3D architectural renderings, nor did he accompany us to each supplier to pick out products. Here's what his process was, which was perfect for us. We received a proposal contract which listed each item or task, along with a cost allowance for each item. If we chose something more expensive than its allowance, the final price would reflect the increase. If what we chose cost less than the allowance, the final cost would go down by that much. So we had a bottom line price from the start and would have the final decision on expenses. He then also gave us a list of his suggested suppliers from which to pick out all of the products. We worked with those suppliers to make selections at their respective showrooms (they work with TLC regularly), and they forwarded our selections to Terry. A few selections we made were from suppliers not on his list, which was fine, but the places he suggested were where most of the items came from. When all selections were made, he provided us with a revised proposal contract reflecting our selections and revised costs. Then he - not us - did the ordering from each vendor to insure that all of the parts and pieces fit together and would work, plus that way his contractor discount was applied. His final contract to us was transparent and showed all prices. No additional markups, no change order fees, no nonsense. If someone wants computer-generated architectural renderings, having him present at each supplier meeting, one central showroom where every needed product and samples are all in one place, then this type of contractor isn't likely for you. If however, you want a remodeling contractor that not only provides the quote but also does the actual work himself, with reliable suppliers that work with him, with a fair price and a minimal amount of stress (if that's possible lol), then TLC's a good choice. Would we recommend TLC Contracting? If you haven't it already guessed: the answer is absolutely!
